Bakgrund: Cancer är idag en av de vanligaste sjukdomarna i svenska samhället och klassas som en folksjukdom. Cirka 800 unga vuxna i Sverige drabbas varje år, skelettumörer, maligna lymfom och leukemi är de allra vanligaste cancerformerna hos ungdomar idag. För många unga vuxna med cancer är det till hjälp att få dela med sig sina upplevelser via bloggar för att lättare kunna hantera sin sjukdom. Att ta del av sjukdomsbloggar kan även hjälpa vården gällande förståelse och bemötande av unga vuxna med cancer. Syfte: Att utifrån bloggar beskriva individers upplevelse av att ha cancer som ung vuxen, samt att beskriva vilken betydelse bloggen har för individerna.

Denna studie har sin grund i en delad uppfattning kring destinationen Thailand. Intresset kring att studera bilden av Thailand väcktes genom att vi författare har en positiv respektive en negativ bild av destinationen. Diskussioner kring ämnet skapade vidare önskemål om att undersöka ämnet närmare. Därigenom valdes ämnet att användas som underlag för vår kandidatuppsats. Syftet med denna studie blev därför att undersöka svenska resenärers syn på Thailand som resmål, samt att få en uppfattning om det fortfarande finns ett intresse att Resa dit.

I mitt examensprojekt har jag utgått ifrån hållbar utveckling och människan i rörelse samt vardagens estetik. De flesta som reser idag använder transportmedel som flyg, buss eller tåg osv. Oavsett om de olika resemetoderna skiljer sig i miljöpåverkan, så påverkas alltid miljön negativt av dessa färdsätt. Det hållbaraste sättet att Resa på är därför till fots. Min målgrupp i det här projektet blev då naturligt friluftsutövare som inte använder sig av dessa miljöbelastande färdmedel.Andra miljöbelastande delar av produktutvecklingen som jag som produktdesigner har möjlighet att påverka genom produktens utformning är att göra den mer unik.
