Roseroot (R. rosea L.) has gained more attention the last years, mainly because of its phy-topharmacologic properties. Even though many reports in roseroot have been published, only a few articles are dealt with the genetic diversity. The Nordic Genetic Resource Center has collected Roseroot material from Sweden, Greenland and Faroe Islands under different expeditions. The samples were analysed to study the genetic diversity study.

Syftet med detta arbete var att redogöra för hur EHV-1 orsakar abort hos dräktiga ston samt patogenes och egenskaper hos viruset som leder fram till abort. Ekvint herpesvirus typ 1(EHV-1) är ett ?-herpesvirus som finns över hela världen och kan orsaka tre olika typer av sjukdomar hos häst: Respiratorisk sjukdom, neurologisk sjukdom och abort. EHV-1 överförs främst genom inandning av aerosoler från infekterad häst och orsakar först luftvägssjukdom och viremi. Viruset bildar sedan latens, främst i lymfknutor nära de övre luftvägarna samt i trigeminala ganglier.

Bakgrund: Sedan 1975 när abortlagen i Sverige trädde i kraft, har kvinnor själva haft möjlighet att avgöra om deras graviditet ska avbrytas innan den 18:e graviditetsveckan. I dagens sjukvård tenderar personalen att se mer till det fysiska vilket gör att kvinnors tankar och känslor förbises. Behovet av kunskap om kvinnors känslomässiga upplevelser av abort är därför betydelsefullt att belysa. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa unga kvinnors känslomässiga upplevelser i samband med abort. Metod: Studien utformades som en allmän litteraturstudie där nio artiklar samlades in och analyserades.

Verotoxinproducerande E. coli, VTEC är en zoonotisk bakterie som kan orsaka allvarlig sjukdom hos människa. Forskning kring VTEC har framför allt varit inriktad på nötkreatur vilka tidigt utpekades som en viktig smittkälla för människa. Förhållandevis få studier har gjorts på får och fårprodukter och kunskapsluckorna är stora både vad gäller förekomst och utbredning av VTEC hos detta djurslag. Syftet med denna studie var att utreda om får kan utgöra en smittkälla för människa vad gäller verotoxinbildande E.

The purpose of this thesis is to study how preschool teachers can reach the goal of the swedish educational plan to prevent traditional gender roles for children ages 3-6 through drama in education.This is answered by four hypothesis based on Judith Butler's queer theory, George Herbert Mead's social psychological theory and Gavin Bolton and Dotothy Heathcotes drama pedagogical theories. The hypotheses are tested against four teachers' examples of their work.The hypotheses areHypothesis 1: By using the expert's mantle and active observation in teacher-in-role indrama educational exercises, we can see how the children internalize the heterosexualmatrix and the outline of the internalized other.Hypothesis 2: By using the "mistakes" that occur when children repeat performativeacts that do not fit with the heterosexual matrix, these other possible behaviors can bestrengthenedHypothesis 3: Through drama exercises that are not normative teachers can widen theheterosexual matrixHypothesis 4: Through drama pedagogical methods like teacher-in-role teachers canprovide possibilities of other performative acts and the creation of a more tolerantinternalized other.The analysis show that the respondents work within all these hypotheses in different ways and thathypotheses 2 is the one with the weakest support in the interwievs. The examples are also weakregarding the use of Boltons drama pedagogical methods, but that there are a number of othermethods in use.Some of the conclusions are that more theoretical knowledge in the preschool drama pedagogics tocounteract traditional gender roles and patterns, as well as the drama of educational theory need tobe linked to queer and social psychology research. Kvinnors känslor och upplevelser efter inducerad abort är viktigt för sjukvårdspersonal att ha kunskap om.Syfte: Syftet var att belysa kvinnors känslor och upplevelser efter att ha genomgått inducerad abort.Metod: Studien genomfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie där vetenskapliga artiklar söktes genom databaser på Internet och genom manuell sökning. Nio studier användes i litteraturstudien. Artiklarna analyserades och resultatet sammanställdes utifrån Travelbee´s begrepp Lidande och Mening.Resultat: Resultatet strukturerades i underrubrikerna Mental ohälsa, Trauma, Sorg, Tankar, Hälsa, Lättnad och Självförtroende.

Electroretinography is an examination method where the function of the retina is objectively assessed. In 2002 the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmology (ECVO) published a proposition to a standard on how to perform ERG examinations, to facilitate comparison of results and to make it possible to repeat examinations. The purpose of this study was to validate parts of the canine ERG protocol suggested by the ECVO. Our principal aim was to study if there is any interference at the recommended stimulus intervals for dark-adapted rod- and combined rod-/cone responses. The results show that there is an effect on the a- and b-wave amplitudes when different stimulus intervals are employed. When all examined intervals are pooled, there is an increase in the median b-wave to each consecutive dim, white (rod) stimulus in a series of four.

Denna uppsats beskriver eventuell problematik kring tonårsgraviditeter. I Sverige finns det cirka 200 ungdomsmottagningar, och den första öppnades 1970. I Sverige visar statistiken från 1970-2012 att tonårsgraviditeter har minskat men abortstatistiken har däremot. Syftet med studien är att beskriva eventuell problematik kring tonårsgraviditeter ? utifrån personalens perspektiv och erfarenheter på en ungdomsmottagning.

Syfte: Att belysa den unga kvinnans upplevelse av beslutsprocessen vid valet av abort, som underlag för helhetsförståelse vid omvårdnaden av denna. Metod: Litteraturstudie som redovisar resultat från artiklar med kvalitativ- och kvantitativ ansats samt två systematiska litteraturstudier. Datainsamling skedde genom databaserna ElinDalarna, Academic Search Elite (EBSCO) och SveMed+. Sökord som använts är - abortion, psychological aspects, decision-making, experience och omvårdnad. Huvudresultat: I beslutsprocessen präglades kvinnorna av ambivalens.

Syfte; Syftet med studien var att beskriva vilken attityd sjuksköterskan har till inducerad abort samt hur kvinnan upplever en inducerad abort.Metod; Studien har gjorts som en litteraturstudie med deskriptiv design. Studien har baserats på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar som har sökts fram via Cinahl, Medline/Pubmed samt genom manuell sökning.Resultat; Det går inte finna någon entydig attityd till aborter hos sjuksköterskor. Vissa har en mer positiv inställning och tycker att det är kvinnans rättighet och att sjuksköterskan ska stödja henne i detta. Samtidigt framkommer negativa attityder där sjuksköterskorna erkänner att de dömer kvinnan utifrån hennes val. En sen abort ger dock upphov till en mer negativ attityd än en tidig.

Playboy is a magazine that, for more than a half century, has been mostly known to the wider audience for its stylized pictures of naked women. What a lot of people do not know is that the magazine, with its editor in chief Hugh Hefner in the lead, has been frontrunners in human rights. Playboy has been fighting protecting the right of freedom of speech, fighting for equal rights for all people during the civil rights movement and supported the feminist movement by funding precedent cases on abortion rights. According to a series of text analyses by Beggan & Allison (2000, 2002b) Playboy?s editorial direction contradicted conventional definitions of masculinity. Also, the magazine portrayed its Playmates with complex identities that, in many cases, contained a number of traditionally masculine abilities.In this thesis we have done a critical discourse analysis of the Playboy interview and how the gender of its subject is portrayed by the magazine.

Bakgrund: När ett barn blir kritiskt sjukt och behöver intensivvård kan det innebära enorma kroppsliga och mentala påfrestningar för föräldrarna. Föräldrarna har oftast en central roll i barnets vård och tillfrisknande, men kan uppleva besvär med att få sina personliga behov uppfyllda under barnets vårdtid. Syfte: Beskriva föräldrars uttryckta behov av stöd från sjuksköterskor när deras barn vårdas på BIVA. Metod: Litteraturöversikt med analys av kvalitativ data. Resultat: Fem kategorier presenteras i studien; stöd i form av begriplig information, stöd till att bevara föräldrarollen, stöd i form av tillit till sjuksköterskor, stöd till kroppsligt välbefinnande samt emotionellt stöd.

In recent years e-commerce has experienced a big increase in usage. Internet however, cannot offer the same level of personal contact as traditional shops can.E-commerce is characterized by impersonal and standardized web shops that do not stimulate any emotional connection between the customer and the company. Without this personal contact with the customer the possibilities for the company to stimulate loyalty decreases. Loyalty however, is as important in e-commerce as it is in traditional commerce. The authors of this paper chose the following problem for the study:What marketing strategies are fortunate for e-commerce companies to use to create loyal customers?To research this subject the authors saw it fit to combine qualitative and quantitative research methods.
