Upplevelser av att leva med ett självskadebeteende : En litteraturgenomgång

In 1809 the citizens of Sweden where given the freedom to practice their Christian faith through the Swedish constitution of 1809, 16 §. This proclaimed that there should be Religious freedom in Sweden, albeit restricted to Evangelical-Lutheran faith. Although after the law regarding dissenters was passed in 1860 by choosing another church than the Evangelical-Lutheran church you lost some civic rights, for example you could not become a public official. The freedom to choose Religious affiliation was given through the Law of Religious Freedom in 1951. The purpose of this study is to evaluate in what way the concept of Religious freedom has developed in Swedish law between 1809 and 1951.In the background I treat two historical events and one era, with focus upon Religious freedom, which have in my opinion influenced the view of Religious freedom in Sweden during the chosen period of 1809?1951.

Livsåskådningars framställning : En textanalys på tre läroböckers framställning av icke-religiös respektive religiös livsåskådning.

The purpose of this study is to analyse and compare how Religious and non-Religious world views are described and represented in three Swedish textbooks. The main question of this study is: How do three textbooks for the first stage of Religious studies in high school represent non-Religious and Religious world views based on the text analysis tools: ethos, modality and transitivity? The three textbooks that are being analysed and compared were produced in the years of 2000, 2002 and 2009. The textbooks are used when teaching the first stage of Religious studies in Swedish high school. The text analysis that I´ve chosen to use in this study is a part of Norman Faircloughs critical discourse analysis.

Traditioners roll i grundskoleundervisningen : En studie om hur religiösa traditioner framställs i grundskolans klassrum

This study is about which opinion active teachers are having when it comes to integrate Religious traditions and ceremonies in their teaching. The aim is to study the Religious traditional ceremonies part and how they are being defined in the Swedish classrooms in primary school. Together with literature, research and the discussion in this study, I came up to a few conclusions of how Religious ceremonies will be integrated and how it looks like in Swedish classrooms. In this study of literature and research overview, the literatures are intended to provide an insight about how the Swedish school system went from a Christian education to a school that was separate from the church. In the chapter called Literature and research overview the literatures are written by scientists and therefore this chapter is based on research.

Massmediekommunikation som strategi för att öka
medlemsaktiviteten inom religiösa samfund

The intension with the thesis is to investigate how mass communication is adopted as a strategy to increase the membership activity within Religious communions in Sweden. In the years past it has shown a decreased activity within Religious communion, deliberate strategies have been missing and efforts on resources for less effective strategies have been made. The study has been carried out through a review of existing theory within the field of subject, communication within Religious communion and the use of mass communication within Religious communion. The Swedish church was chosen as a case, where three persons were interviewed. The result from this study shows that the Swedish church communication operates on several different levels: these are detached and self-determinate.

Psykologers gränser till gränssituationers psykologi : En fenomenologisk studie av hur psykologer kan handskas med livsåskådningsfrågor i samtalsbehandling

The studie also discusses how psychologists can understand and respond to the psychological aspects of clients' existential and Religious experiences. Eight psychologists were interviewed and their experiences were analysed using a phenomenological method. The results of the interviews suggested that the eight psychologists could handle the psychological aspects of clients' philosophies, by investigating their own personal philosophies and scientific ontologies. It was also discussed how an awareness of the psychologists' professional boundaries and personal experiences of existential and Religious phenomenons, could facilitate an integration of clients' existential and Religious experiences..

Brasilien - ett modernt men religiöst land : En fallstudie av Brasilien utifrån Pippa Norris och Ronald Ingleharts teori om sekularisering och religiositet

The aim of this study is to examine the Religious landscape of Brazil, and based on the theory of secularization by Pippa Norris and Ronald Inglehart to explain why Brazilians are Religious and not secular. The study is a secondary analysis that uses existing statistics to examine different units of analysis of Brazil?s Religious landscape, economics and equality, etc. Based on their theory I find that Brazil is still Religious due to the lack of security in the country. Brazil is insecure in terms of measures of socioeconomic equality, stable politics without corruption, and physical safety of the citizens in Brazil.

Hur påverkar nya religiösa rörelser medlemmarnas Identitet? : En kvalitativ studie i avhoppares uppfattning.

The purpose of this study was to try to develop a better understanding of the process that being a member in a new Religious movement might imply, and to find out how the identity of a defector changes from the time upon entering the movement, while they are within the movement and after leaving the movement. We also wanted to examine what kind of help and support would be needed around a defection. The study focuses on identity and our questions were: How does the defector describe him/herself and his/her identity before joining the new Religious movement until the period after defecting? What demand for support and help may there be when defecting from new Religious movement? The theoretical starting point was The Identity Theory, Structural Role Theory and KASAM. The essay is written from a teacher's perspective, where the focus is on the teacher's perceptions of the difficulties and challenges of teaching Religious education. The methodology for the collection of information was done through qualitative interviews. Previous research shows that one of the challenges in the teaching profession is the interpretation of the curriculum, and then which of those is correct. The essay shows that the biggest challenges that teachers experience in the subject of Religious education is the students' prejudice against different Religious groups, and also the difficulty of getting students to understand the purpose of what is being taught.
