The recent globalization has to some extent reduced the importance of specific cultures and instead creates a focus on the variation these different cultures provide. Under these circumstances the leader must adapt his leadership to face these new circumstances. The organisations today have to face these new leadership challenges which the global expansion brings. This is a prerequisite for organizations if they want to succeed and be more competitive in a more demanding environment.There are still big differences between the business cultures. There are also differences in the companies? home arena, between groups in the society and all the way down on a family level.

In some postmodern philosophy and theology, the view of God has returned to the centre of the discussion. God is seen as a living reality beyond human conception. Some of the contemporary philosophers even relate to the negative or apofatic theology. They often do this as a contrast to the positive theology. AbstractA Problem to Every SolutionThe Corrymeela Community, René Girard and the ambiguous pluralismThe main purpose of this study is to examine how Girard´s ideas of society, culture andreligion have become part of the reflexion in the praxis of Corrymeela Community through the work of Roel Kaptein and how this praxis can shed light over the work with dissonances of faith and values in education in RE, Social Studies and other subjects.In earlier publications I have studied how dissonances of faith and values can beunderstood in educational settings and in connection with issues of interreligious dialogue.The extensive discussion of how differences in culture, religion and value in a pluralisticsociety are to be analysed and treated in pedagogical reflexion seems to increasingly occupyactors in different parts of the educational system. It is obvious that these issues also arebrought into focus as an important field of research. My main interest in this paper is to study how a reconciliation group in the middle of the conflict in Northern Ireland has developed a view of conflict reason and conflict resolution under the influence of the French researcher René Girard and what aspects of this study that can improve the reflection over pluralism and dissonances of faith and values in everyday praxis in education.For a period of more than a decade I have been in contact with actors in the peace process inNorthern Ireland in connection to different educational projects. The attempts to analyse the different aspects of ?The Troubles? and the efforts to find ways out of conflicts and civil war are many and the literature on subjects related to these tragic history of social, cultural and religious conflicts is difficult to survey.

Independent schools are a central issue in the school world, the perception of independent schools varies and many people express opinions about them in the media. An independent school is according to the National Agency a school that has a different principal than the county or municipality. Independent schools may not charge fees but their revenue comes from municipal grants from municipalities (Berglund 2007, p. 10). An independent school can be driven by an association, foundation or company and to run an independent school requires a permit from the Education Department.The purpose of this paper is to see how four principals at independent schools with a Muslim profile are working to strengthen their students? Muslim identity in relation to the society they live in and how schools work with value issues.

Teosofi och New Age : Teosofiska Samfundets doktriner som inspiration till New Age-rörelsen

Den esoteriska teosofin har fått betydelse för det moderna sekulariserade samhället  framför allt genom New Age-rörelsen under 1900-talets senare del och den gav redan under seklets första årtionden upphov till nya andliga rörelser i Europa och  USA. Man har ofta glömt dess förankring i det sena 1800-talet. Teosofin, kunskapen eller visheten om Gud, har visserligen en betydligt äldre historia men den rörelse som skapades i Amerika på 1870-talet av Helena Blavatsky och hennes sympatisörer kom att överleva och kom att mer än hundra år senare vara aktuell i den moderna andliga rörelse vi kallar New Age. Det Teosofiska Samfundet, bildat i USA 1875, gav även upphov till flera vitala sidogrenar som till exempel Antroposofiska Sällskapet, Temple of the People, the Arcane School, the ? I AM? Religious Activity, the Church Universal and Triumphant och Liberala Katolska kyrkan vilka idag fortfarande bedriver aktiv verksamhet.De böcker och tidskrifter som 1800-talets esoteriska teosofer gav ut var ingen lättfattlig eller enkel litteratur och lästes företrädesvis av människor med den tidens bildning.

The Church of Sweden had barely 6.5 million members in 2012. Just over 1% of the members visit a church service regularly every Sunday. The number of visitors in worship services has diminished continuously for a very long time. From 1990 to 2010, the annual number of visitors at the main worship services has decreased by 50% from 9 million to about 4.5 million. The service activities can still be maintained at the current level because the many passive members still pays their membership fee.

Hamas, Sayyid Qutb och Israels rätt att existera?

Sayyid Qutb avrättades i Egypten 29 augusti 1966. Det är ganska precis ett år innan det så kallade sexdagarskriget utbröt juni 1967 vars resultat blev en israelisk ockupation av bland annat Västbanken och Gazaremsan. 1988 accepterade Palestinian National Council (PNC) etablerandet av en palestinsk stat vid sidan av Israel på Västbanken och Gazaremsan med Jerusalem som dess huvudstad. Samma år bildade MB Hamas.Sayyid Qutb lever alltså då Israel bildas men är död då Israels ockupation av Västbanken och Gaza inleds och därmed en ny fas i den israelisk/palestinska konflikten. Under den tiden återupptogs idéer om två stater, en judisk och en palestinsk vid sidan av varandra vilket i förlängningen skulle kunna innebära ett ömsesidigt erkännande av varandras rätt till existens.

Problem/Bakgrund: Upplevelsen av ett neurotiskt beteende är ett psykologiskt fenomen och ofta är det den psykologiska vetenskapen som forskar inom ämnet. Vad som inte får förringas är att konstruktionen av neuros innefattar sociologiska och socialpsykologiska orsaker. En individs personlighetstruktur formas i interaktionen med kulturen och det är i detta möte som neurosen har sin grund. Religionen har stor betydelse i hur individer socialiseras. Fara uppkommer när neurotiska och auktoritära personlighetsstrukturer legitimerar destruktiva handlingar genom sin självutnämnda "gudomliga position", tolkning av troslära och samtidigt stöds av en organisation som möjliggör detta.

The area in question was a part of the "Miljonprogrammet" and apperantly has suffered the same consequenses as similar areas since it was built. The onesided negative discourse that has persecuded areas of Miljonprogrammet, such as Kungsmarken, has put social problems as criminality, drugaddiction, dependancy on the social welfare system or cultural incompetence in the focus. The author´s previous understanding of the phenomena lies in private experience from living in Hjällbo, a similar area in Gothenburg also with the miljonprogram.
