SAMMANFATTNINGSyfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur närstående till skyddsisolerade patienter på en hematologiavdelning vid ett sjukhus i Mellansverige upplevde vårdtiden och bemötandet från vårdpersonalen under vistelsen på sjukhuset.Metod: Studien är en empirisk studie med kvalitativ design. Deltagarna bestod av fem närstående till skyddsisolerade patienter som valdes ut genom bekvämlighetsurval. Datainsamlingen gjordes genom semistrukturerade intervjuer och innehållsanalys.Resultat: Två teman har identifierats ?Den närstående trygghet är kopplat till hur patienten mår och behandlas.? och ?Närstående förminskar sin egen betydelse i vårdsituationen?. Under dessa två teman utkristalliserade sig fyra kategorier ?Trygghetskänsla?, ?Förlorad kontroll?, ?Att vara närvarande? och ?Copingstrategier.

Bakgrund: Närstående kan uppleva den palliativa vårdsituationen som mycket svår, då det kan vara första gången de konfronteras med en döende människa Att vara närstående till en palliativt sjuk patient kräver stöd åt den närstående, vilka kan vara vänner, familj, sjuksköterska eller i form av ekonomisk hjälp från samhället Syfte: Att kartlägga stöd till närstående då en patient får palliativ vård och stöd till närstående efter patientens död. Metod: Kvalitativ litteraturöversikt. Resultat: Sju kategorier framkom; att delta i stödgrupp, att få emotionellt stöd, att få praktiskt stöd, att vara delaktig i omvårdnaden, att främja hopp, att få stöd efter dödsfallet och att få information. Information som ges till en människa i kris når inte alltid fram. Att som sjuksköterska avsätta tid, vara påläst och inte använda ett svårt språk är avgörande för att samtalet ska falla väl ut.

The purpose of this thesis has been to explore in what ways Franz Kafka?s ?The Metamorphosis? can be read as a story of gender. By bringing together Judith Butler?s theory of materialization and Lennard J. Davis?s crip theory I have spoken of Dismodernity as the domain of abject bodies that have been repudiated by (post)modern societies as untintelligible and dysfunctional.

AbstractThe aim for this study is to establish how teachers and supervisors at the Child and Recreation Programme interpret the concept ?vocational knowledge?. It is also about how they substantially can see that the pupils are developing vocational knowledge, during their work placement training. The aim of this thesis is to create a base for teachers to work with continuing development in teaching practice. The empirical part of this study is based on interviews. Interviews were analyzed in three categories: definition of vocational knowledge, substantially developing in vocational knowledge and success factors. The result shows that knowing how and knowing why is salient in vocational knowledge.

Abstract This is a qualitative study of elderly people's experiences of loneliness and quality of life. Also the relationship between loneliness and quality of life are examined. Previous research has shown that social loneliness is about when the social context are lost while emotional loneliness can occur with the loss of close relationships. Quality of life is about a sense of connection but also the quality of life arises in the difference between the expectation of what one is and what one wishes to have. This study has shown that the interviewees preferences, activities, social networks and low expectations on their life situation makes interviewees perceive themselves to be less lonely and have a good quality of life.

Vårdcentraler har under de senaste 15 åren anställt kuratorer psykologer och psykoterapeuter som kan erbjuda samtalsbehandling. Vid utvärdering av samtalen visar resultaten friskare patienter som bidrar till lägre vårdkostnader. Biologiska, psykologiska och sociala funktionerna blir centrala i mötet med patienten och hur dessa funktioner påverkar beskrivningen av problemet men också effekten utifrån funktionsnivå i relation till närstående. Vårdcentralen är första linjens vårdgivare från mödra- till äldrevård. Då förändring sker hos patienten påverkas helheten/nätverket.

The aim of this study was to examine if an organisation that strives for democracy and participation, also possess an open information culture. This study deals with the information culture in a social movement organisation, Attac Gothenburg. To achieve the aim, following questions were asked: What is the organisation culture like, is it open or closed? What is the information culture like, is it open or closed? What is the information culture like, in relation to the identity of the organisation? The focus has been put on earlier research in social movements, organisation and information culture. In this qualitative study I have collected material mainly from interviews.

Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka om och hur Learning study som är en metod att granska, analysera och utveckla pedagogiken, kan förbättra undervisningen i teater på gymnasiets teaterestetiska inriktning. Jag vill säkerställa att kommunikationen i undervisningen fungerar och förbättrar deras kunskaper gällande begreppet närvaro inom teaterämnet. Enligt den ryske teaterpedagogen Stanislavskij så innebär närvaro en överensstämmelse mellan skådespelarens övertygelse i karaktären och det uttryck skådespelare och regissör vill förmedla. (Järleby, 2001, s. 174-175.) I detta arbete har jag även reflekterat och redogjort för tidigare forskning genom två studier inom Learning Study och en studie i teater.

This thesis describes and examines a new line of business, CleanTech. CleanTech comprises a wide range of different types of companies and is not yet well defined. In this thesis only the Swedish market is considered, and a variety of players on the market are included to give the most extensive picture of the current situation. Recent research shows that a gap has arisen between governmental financing and private equity-investments in CleanTech-companies. This gap occurs mainly in companies in expansive phases and causes problems both for the companies and for the line of business as a whole. To investigate this gap the Swedish CleanTech-business is described in terms of earlier and existing financing, age and size of the companies and their turnover and profit.

This bachelor?s degree thesis was conducted in mechanical engineering at Halmstad University during spring semester 2010 in close collaboration with the company Gremo AB, located in Ätran, Sweden. Gremo AB produces, developes and sales forest machines in both Sweden and on the international market.Gremo AB belongs to one of the market leaders in forest industry, especially with their forwarder. In order to become a market leader even with their harvester, the company decided to change the harvester to have a swivel and a leveling driver cabin.The aim with this bachelor?s degree thesis was to develop a design concept for the harvester driver cabin, which Gremo AB can apply on the new harvester.

This report presents an investment calculation based on an assumed initial investment of a new saw line to an existing sawmill. In order to get as close to reality as possible, we have received data material from northern forest owners who recently made an initial investment in their sawmill in Kåge. In order to calculate and evaluate investments are several different methods, but we, we have chosen to use the discounted cash flow method. The method sums up with the help of a fixed cost of capital together with any future costs and revenues, thereby giving a present value of the investment. We also do a sensitivity analysis to examine how selected factors affect the investment research they change. The study is carried out to a fictitious investment, and therefore the result should not only be studied as a result of the figures. The purpose of this study was that with the help of an investment calculation studying the profitability of a hypothetical investment, and by means of a sensitivity analysis to study the sensitivity of investment to changes. The result demonstrates that the calculations according to the present value method requires a lot of information of the prospective investment.

The aim of this master's thesis is to investigate how adults and especially children's librarians and intermediate level teachers experience children's literature. The aim is also to examine how children at the age of nine to twelve experience the literature that is written for them, according to a few master's theses written at Bibliotekshögskolan in Boras. Which criteria in children's books do the different groups consider as the most important, that the children can learn something when reading or is it the experience of the literature itself that is the most important? To fulfil the aim of this master's thesis I have interviewed three intermediate level teachers and three children's librarians and the result has been analysed using a model created by Maria Nikolajeva that shows four ways to get close to children's literature. My study is too small to be counted as a general result but it shows that both the children's librarians and the intermediate level teachers mainly ends up in the field that concerns the reading experience one can have when reading fiction.

This paper aims to examine what reading books convey as normal for first grade children. The question at hand is to find out what children's reading books convey as normal within the context of intersectionality with a focus on sex, class, culture and "race". Text analysis of two reading books has been conducted, using discourse analysis with an intersectional perspective. In analysing the texts, selected sections from the books have been examined using the method of close reading. Within the context of intersectionality, classifications have been made and selected according to the categories sex, culture, class and "race".

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the Swedish newspaper Sportbladet watches over the Olympic games in Sotji, 2014. This study aims to find out why certain topics is more popular writing about and why others are not. The study also analyses the news distribution in terms of gender and nationalism.To find answers to this questions, a quantitative content analyses was used.  The results is based on 220 texts collected from eleven days news reporting in Sportbladet. Ice hockey and cross-country skiing was, without a doubt, the most popular sports according to news, interest and reporting. These two sports occupied a great deal of space in the newspaper and also had most articles.Furthermore, this study shows the domination of men amongst news pages according to both space and frequency in Sportbladet during the Olympic games in Sotji. In spite of that fact, women was assigned more space in the news paper throughout the Olympic games compared to the daily reporting.
