This study aims to further Work-family conflict research for Social Workers by providing insight into what kind of impact the job role of social workers in Sweden has on their private lives and how they deal with it. The study operates from a qualitative approach and is based on three focus group-interviews and three semi-structured interviews with people working in different fields of social work. The empirical material has been analyzed through the Dramaturgical Perspective and Frame concept of Erving Goffman. The results of this study show that the job role impacts the psychological well-being of social workers, their family life and their social life to varying degrees, mainly due to organizational and client-based aspects, often resulting in role-conflicts and a lack of energy in their private lives. The primary strategies were found to be conversing with colleagues, spending time alone, embracing hobbies and having a clear understanding of individual responsibility. .

Family centres are established to serve families with children and the personnel usually consists of units of social-workers, preschool staff, paediatric nurses and midwives. The purpose of the study was to examine the social-workers preventive work with families at the family centre. To fulfil the purpose, a qualitative interview with five social-workers was conducted. The theoretical framework referred to attachment and empowerment theory. The results of the study showed that the main part of the work consists of giving advice and support to parents.

The aim of this study was to describe how male social workers who work in the section for children and family in one municipality in southern Sweden, experience that their gender influences their daily work. The main focus is to understand what it means to be a man in the social services department. The first research question was how the male social workers experienced how their gender influenced their contact with children and parents in terms of possibilities and obstacles. The second research question was how the male social workers experienced how their gender influenced their working place in terms of possibilities and obstacles. The third research question was how the male social workers experienced that their gender affected the work with women colleagues.

Syftet med denna studie var att belysa kompetenser hos handledare samt att beskriva hur handledare kan stödja sjuksköterskestudenten för att nå målen i verksamhetsförlagd utbildning. Studien utfördes som en litteraturstudie. Litteraturen söktes i databasen Cinahl samt via sökmotorn Pubmed. Resultatet visar att de kompetenser som en handledare för sjuksköterskestudenter bör ha innefattar kunskaper inom medicinsk vetenskap, teoretiska, kliniska och etiska färdigheter, ha en helhetssyn i omvårdnadsarbetet samt ha god självkännedom dels i sjuksköterskeyrket samt i handledarrollen. Det ansågs också viktigt att handledaren hade pedagogisk kompetens och kunskap om hur studenters prestationer skulle utvärderas och bedömas.

The purpose with the essay was to study the school and the social welfare personnel respectively along with their perspectives and views on their collaboration in the work with socially exposed children and how the collaboration was formed.To get answers to my questions, I interviewed three teachers and three social welfare secretaries. The questions and the analysis were divided into themes: the collaboration between school and social services now and in the future, development of collaboration, and facilitation and difficulties.When analysing the interviews I found a consensus in some questions. All interviewed agreed on the importance of collaboration for the welfare of the child through continuous meetings. The relationship and dialogue between school and social services was vital. Both teachers and social welfare secretaries found it essential not to be seen as a hidden authority.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva arbetsterapeuters arbete med fritidsaktiviteter vid rehabilitering av äldre. Fem semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med arbetsterapeuter verksamma inom distriktsarbetsterapi eller daglig verksamhet. Arbetsterapeuterna hade 5 till 38 års yrkeserfarenhet. Intervjuer analyserades enligt kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analys av data resulterade i tre kategorier: ?Ramar och regler vid arbete med fritidsaktiviteter; Strategier för att möjliggöra klienters deltagande i fritidsaktiviteter; Arbetsterapeuters tankar om fritidsaktiviteter?.

The purpose of this essay was a follow-up of four female drug abusers with several mental problems ten years after my initial meeting with them at Korsaröds Behandlingshem. Using a qualitative method and interviews with the women, knowledge was obtained regarding their current vital conditions and their subjective experiences of the treatment at Korsaröd. Their perspective on the ethical as well as their desired relationship with staff within social services was also accounted for. When contacted the women lived a content and drug free life in their own flats. The women stayed at Korsaröd approximately five years, and they said that without the treatment they would not be alive today.

This study discloses the responsibility of social work for the Swedish welfare state respective deacons in the Swedish protestant church, which roll the Swedish protestant church have in the existent welfare and also if deacons experience any expectations and how these expectations in that case are expressed.The aim of this study was to investigate the relationbetween deacons working within the Swedish protestant church and social work, as it appears for professional deacons. The method of investigating the questions raised by the aim of this study has been qualitative analysis of answers derived from six deacons working in different workplaces. The data derived from these interviews was then analysed through the theory of Gösta Esping-Andersen about welfare states and also through background research and earlier science research about the social work within the Swedish protestant church and other social work. The result of the study show that the welfare state in Sweden has the comprehensive responsibility for the citizens. Deacons working within the Swedish protestant church does not have the same responsibility.

Bakgrund: Rehabiliteringskedjan som infördes första juni 2008 innebar fasta tidsgränser för hur lång tid människor kunde vara sjukskriven. Efter att man uppnått maximal tid i sjukförsäkringen blev man utförsäkrad och fick ett erbjudande att gå ett program hos arbetsförmedlingen som kallas arbetslivsintroduktion. Programmet går ut på att kartlägga individernas arbetsförmåga och undersöka vilka behov av stöd som föreligger för att komma vidare mot arbetsmarknaden. Efter programmet är det meningen att man ska kunna ta del av arbetsförmedlingens övriga insatser och program. Statistik från arbetsförmedlingen och Försäkringskassan visar dock att det är en ganska stor del som går tillbaka till sjukförsäkringen efteråt och jag ville undersöka vilka möjliga faktorer som påverkar möjligheten för deltagare att komma närmre arbetsmarknaden efter tiden i programmet.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka om handläggare som arbetar med arbetslivsintroduktion kunde identifiera några särskilda faktorer eller förutsättningar som avgör om deltagare i programmet går vidare mot arbetsmarknaden eller går tillbaka till sjukförsäkringen.

This thesis concerns the subject of social media in the internal communication, how it can function to improve the communication among the coworkers. Good Old has been the web agency of our case study, through them we have gained understanding of the phenomenon. Media and communication theories and interviews have given us the foundation of the thesis.Our conclusion shows that it is beneficial to use social media internally in the type of company that Good Old is.
