Detta kandidatarbete undersöker hur en karaktärs fantasi kan gestaltas med genren magisk realism inom animerad film. Under arbetets gång har vi undersökt olika filmer med magisk realism som genre, så som Pan?s Labyrinth, Ally McBeal och Six Feet Under och The Science of Sleep. I detta arbete presenterar vi de metoder vi valt för att skapa en animerad film med genren magisk realism.

I have conducted a qualitative study were the aim was to understand how the freedom of choice act in eldercare is handled at a municipality level as well as a national level and the effects that can occur. The methods I have used for this study is a document analysis and semi-structed interviews.     I have conducted semi-structed interviews with three professionals in the eldercare organization in a large municipality in the south of Sweden, I have also conducted a phone interview with a representative from Socialstyrelsen. The professionals that I chose for my study was a chief of staff, an aid case worker and a person who worked in the municipality with the implementation of freedom of choice act.     The study shows that the work quality is expected to rise with the freedom of choice as a consequence of the customer and performer model and will give the caretakers a higher level of influence. The study also shows that the municipality will get a greater responsibility and the aid case workers will get extended tasks though they will have to inform the caretakers regarding the options and they will also be mediate between the caretaker and the performers. However the study also show concerns regarding rough traders whose aim is to make money and does not have the same rehabilitation agenda.     There are also concerns for those who can´t chose for them self though they will not be able to be a part of the freedom of choice act in the same way and that is something the municipality needs to work out a system for.

Vi har gjort en fallstudie av hur rehabiliteringen har fungerat för två kvinnor anställda i en svensk kommun. Syftet med denna studie har varit att ta reda på om rehabilitering tillbaka till arbetslivet skiljer sig åt mellan två kvinnor med liknande medicinska besvär i denna kommun. Kvinnor i vårdyrket får ofta förslitningsskador och som följd blir många sjukskrivna. Vi vet av tidigare forskning att det är yngre män i städer som återgår till arbete i högre grad än kvinnor. På landsbyggden kommer sällan kvinnor tillbaka till arbetslivet efter sjukskrivning.

This is a qualitative interview study about intellectually disabled parents and their children. I have conducted interviews with six professional staff who have some experience working with intellectually disabled persons. In my investigation I used vignettes and those I interviewed had to read the same story about Anders and Britta in preparation for the interview. The six persons whom I interviewed were: a midwife at a mother care centre, a nurse at a child health centre, a social welfare officer at a rehabilitation centre, a "LSS administrator" at a local authority, and two social welfare secretaries. One of the two welfare secretaries works to assess the social situation of children and the other one works with fostercare.The conclusion that I have drawn is that the relationship between intellectually disabled parents and their children is very important.

Projektbeskrivning: Bakgrund: Vid valsning av tunna band med hög hållfasthet används reversibla mångvalsarsverk. Kundkraven är höga vad gäller bandens planhet. Planheten kan styras genom de planhetsställdon som valsverket är utrustat med. Syfte: Förvärva kunskap om hur de olika ställdonen inverkar på planheten. Varje enskilt ställdons inverkan på planheten kan undersökas genom att genomföra en föreskriven förändring av ställdonets läge och därefter utvärdera planhetsförändringen som uppkom.

At the plant of Sandvik do Brasil in São Paulo there is a need for improving the transport of inserts between the plant building and the stock building. The idea is to install a system with an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) to take care of this transportation. The purpose of this report is to present which demands there are on the system and to find the best solution according to the demands.To conclude this work a study was made of the plant and the AGV technology was examined. Several providers of AGV solutions were contacted to get information about prices and detailed solutions.The conclusion was that the most suitable system for this application is a small unit load vehicle using inductive wire as guiding system..

En studie i hur lekar kan inspirera till digitalt gameplay och samtidigt förmedla lekarnas kultur till spelaren. Detta har testats genom att göra ett prototypspel där varje bana är baserad på en leks mekaniker eller mening. Spelaren måste själv i slutändan analysera banan med en beskrivning av leken som sin enda ledtråd. Detta för att om spelaren själv blir engagerad och ska minnas vad den gjort kommer spelaren på så sätt minnas kulturen det medförde..

Assignments and organizations working with exposed women are more and more common in the Swedish society. Both authorities and nonprofit organizations are working actively to strengthen women?s position in the labor market through incentives and other measures. The study shows that the work with exposed women takes place in cooperation between the parties involved. The purpose of this qualitative study was to look into how the professionals were working with exposed women, in different types of organizations.

Bakgrund: Användning av vårdhund inom svensk sjukvård har ökat och då antalet studier som gjorts inom området rehabilitering är få ansågs detta vara ett relevant område att fördjupa sig i.Syfte: Att undersöka om rehabilitering med vårdhundsförare och vårdhund kan öka välbefinnande, motivation och aktivitet hos vårdtagare i jämförelse med konventionell träning.Metod: Single case design. Två deltagare studerades under sju träningspass i fyra veckor med videoinspelning, VAS och intervju.Resultat: Självskattning på VAS visade inga skillnader mellan de olika träningarna, medan observationerna av träningarna med vårdhund visade att deltagarna log längre tid och de hade även mer fysisk kontakt, fler finmotoriska övningar och hälften så lång tid av grovmotoriska övningar. Deltagarna beskrev båda träningarna som värdefulla, givande och roliga. Träningarna med vårdhund upplevdes även som lättsamma och en stund då de slapp tänka på det tråkiga som hänt.Slutsats: Båda typerna av träning var lika uppskattade enligt VAS, medan observationerna och intervjuerna visade att träningarna med vårdhund gav ökat välbefinnande. Då välbefinnande är en viktig faktor för motivation och aktivitet, är fler studier inom området av intresse eftersom träning med vårdhund förefaller vara en betydelsefull tillgång inom rehabilitering..

Industrialization of construction is by some considered to be a solution to the building industry's problems about the lack of quality, high production costs, low productivity and poor environmental adaptation. Meanwhile, industrialized construction partly earned a bad reputation after the million housing program. As large-scale projects where promoted during this period, it worked very well to use the technique of construction elements. In the mid seventies though, criticism arose which claimed that the aesthetic qualities had been deprived in the corporates effort to make housing production as efficient as possible.Tyréns, Derome and CBBT (centre for building and housing in wood) cooperates in a development project to develop a building system for 4-8-storey buildings, consisting of three platforms: a technology platform, an IT platform and a processing platform. The technology platform consists of flexible, industrially built flat modules of wood and from this platform the subsystem stairwells, is broken out.

At present day there are several different methods for measuring of paved surfaces.The most common methods today are measuring with a total station, the GlobalNavigation Satellite System (GNSS) and terrestrial laser scanning (TLS). Recently thedevelopment of unmanned aerial vehicles, known as drones, has increasedexponentially and today there are several ways of using drones for measuring surfacesby photographing and laser scanning.This thesis contains a comparison between the methods terrestrial laser scanning(TLS), and unmanned aerial vehicle photogrammetry (UAV). The measurements havebeen applied on two different test surfaces, one of asphalt and one of gravel. Thepurpose of the comparison is to investigate whether the airborne photogrammetry isequivalent accurate in its height levels as the terrestrial laser scanning. For thecomparison to be more extensive, these two methods have not only been comparedin precision but also in the areas of ease of use and economy.The precision was analyzed by comparing the height levels in randomly placed controlpoints on the test surfaces.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva patienters upplevelser och erfarenheter av fysisk aktivitet i grupp efter hjärtinfarkt. Studien genomfördes som en kvalitativ intervjustudie och hade en beskrivande design. Genom ett ändamålsurval intervjuades tio patienter som deltog i hjärtgymnastikgrupp på ett sjukhus i Mellansverige. Data samlades in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer. Insamlad data analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

At the moment there is no clear picture of how the straddle carriers aremoving at the division Primary Products and if it is working in a satisfying way. It isimportant to see the whole picture of the transportation flow so improvements can be made.The purpose of this essay is to survey and analyse the truck flow in a Lean Productionperspective. The essay is delimited to only include straddle carriers transportation ways in thePrimary Products division. To survey the truck flow we have used a method called Walkthrough.This means that we have walked thorough the whole production flow andinterviewed some of the employed on the way to get the necessary information.

The object of this thesis is to direct attention onto female inmates who is a disregarded user group within the discipline of library and information sciences. This study has been performed on location at the Hinseberg correctional institution where nine female criminal offenders constitute the empirical foundation of our inquiry. The question proposed for solution is as follows: Is there a correlation between socio-cultural prerequisites and the reading habits of the female inmates - and if so how can it be described? Among the conclusions that we have drawn from our study is that the socio-cultural environment has an influence on the well-being of the inmates which in its turn has an impact on their reading. However, the effects on their mental state vary and consequently so does also their reading.

Detta är slutreflektionen över ett kandidatarbete gjort av Karl Tannergård och Per Thulin. Arbetet har gått ut på att skapa en prototyp av en barnspel baserat på Inger och Lasse Sandbergs böcker om Lilla Spöket Laban och hans familj. Spelet är tvådimensionellt och vänder sig till barn i åldern fyra till sju år. Det är skrivet i programmeringsspråket Python och använder multimediabiblioteket pygame. Utvecklingen har skett i samarbete med animationsstudion PennFilm AB..
