This paper is about these power strutures seen from the daily round of four girls which study nurse´s training in upper secondary school and four girls which study construction´s training in upper secondary school..

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of learning on open-field activity among pre-school children varying from 3 to 5 years old. Altogether 25 children, 13 girls and 12 boys, entered the test from three different preschools in Dalarna. Six of these children represented the control group. The children were asked to learn 2 tasks, 1 visual memory task and 1 spatial constructing-kit task. Before, between and after the tasks, the children were allowed to move freely in the open field.

 The purpose of this study was to investigate Registered nurses experiences about giving support to relatives to patients within palliative home care. This study was descriptive with qualitative approach. The data collection was made in the form of semi structured qualitative interviews which took place in a Swedish city of medium size, in an area for palliative homecare. Six registrated nurses were interviewed which all gave informed consent. The study suffered no losses and permission from the director of the concerned department had been given prior to the start of this study.

Bakgrund: Få donationer sker i Sverige idag, det kan därför vara svårt att erhålla och upprätthålla professionell kompetens. Forskning har visat på en uppfattning att potentiella donatorer ibland förbises på grund av organisationsmässiga brister i struktur och riktlinjer. Även bristande kunskap och ett behov av mer utbildning finns beskrivet i flertal studier.Syfte: Att undersöka hur intensivvårdssjuksköterskor uppfattar sin kunskap och beredskap gällande organdonationsprocessen.Metod: Studien var empirisk med kvalitativ ansats. En fokusgruppintervju genomfördes som datainsamling, urvalet bestod av intensivvårdssjuksköterskor som var verksamma på en allmän intensivvårdsavdelning. Innehållsanalys användes för att bearbeta materialet.Resultat: I resultatet framkom fyra huvudkategorier och nio subkategorier.

The first thing to check is always the quality of the water that is to be used. To secure that, you must take a water sample. If the water is inadequate it can bring a lot of problems and diseases.

People with dementia often have difficulties expressing their needs. Untreated pain within this group can be manifested as depression, agitation or loss in appetite. It can be a challenging task for a nurse to estimate, treat and evaluate pain for people with dementia. With good knowledge and an empathic approach, nurses can often recognize and relieve pain amongst these people. Despite this, litterature often suggest that unrecognized and untreated pain is common within this group..

In 2011, a crime prevention initiative was undertaken by the Swedish police department in Scania. Two years later, the Swedish media reported on this initiative, claiming that it had been intended as an ethnic registration of Romani people. This revelation resulted in a great deal of controversy and sparked a national debate on the issue of ethnicity and public registration in Sweden. The police in Scania had difficulties explaining the purpose of such a registration effort, and could not provide evidence that it had been legitimate and legal. This paper will attempt to explain the motivation behind the original police initiative with a theoretical analysis based on assessments from public authorities.

There are various arguments for using total mixed rations (TMR) or not. Cows can easily become fat and thus poorly utilize the feed while it can be stated that TMR also has a positive effect on cows? health and wellbeing as the rumen environment is more constant than when separate feeding is applied. Studies do show that that especially low yielding cows kept in groups get fatter when fed TMR. The overfeeding implicates higher feeding costs. This study included 10 herds where 5 had TMR and 5 hade separate feeding of forage and concentrates.

Patients with mental illness experience dissatisfaction with their care due to lack of understanding and ignorance from the nurses. The nurses? approach might influence these patients' experience of their care. The purpose of the literature review was to describe nurses' approach in care of patients with mental illness. The literature review is based on an inductive approach and the result is based on 14 scientific papers, of which eight used a qualitative design and sex used a quantitative design.

Digitizing objects and environments from real world has become an important part of creating realistic computer graphics. Through the use of structured lighting and laser time-of-flight measurements the capturing of geometric models is now a common process. The result are visualizations where viewers gain new possibilities for both visual and intellectual experiences. This thesis presents the reconstruction of the Parthenon temple and its environment in Athens, Greece by using a 3D laser-scanning technique. In order to reconstruct a realistic model using 3D scanning techniques there are various phases in which the acquired datasets have to be processed.

This study is an evaluation of the school Liljanskolan, which is a ?therapy-school? for children between the ages of seven and twelve with psychosocial problems. These problems can concern difficulties interacting with adults as well as children, acting out, difficulty concentrating and anxiety. Liljanskolan has a high number of professionals, both teachers and treaters, and few children. The aim of the study was to increase the understanding of how children that have attended Liljanskolan have progressed during their time at the school with focus on their behaviour in school, ability to interact with adults and children, anger management and self-confidence.

Suicid/självmord är idag enligt världshälsoorganisationen WHO en av de 20 vanligaste dödsorsakerna och det är välkänt att risken för suicid ökar vid depression. Psykiatrisjuksköterskor möter dagligen patienter där de är skyldiga att bedöma hur stor risken är att patienten tar sitt liv. Det har hittills funnits lite forskning angående hur psykiatrisjuksköterskorna erfar det är att göra dessa bedömningar och syftet med studien var därför att beskriva psykiatrisjuksköterskors erfarenheter av suicidriskbedömning hos patienter med depressiv ohälsa. Studiens design var av kvalitativ art där intervjuer genomfördes med 10 psykiatrisjuksköterskor inom allmänpsykiatrisk öppenvård. Data analyserades med stöd av kvalitativ innehållsanalys och mynnade ut i ett resultat om fyra huvudkategorier med tillhörande subkategorier.

Compressed air is a low efficiency media, and is thus very expensive to produce. This thesis work began by mind mapping how to create savings on the compressed air system at Billerud Skärblacka AB. Certain issues have been chosen for further studies.In order to identify the consumption of compressed air at PM 8 and 9, several measurements were made. At PM 8 there were not found any pressure drop, only large pressure variations for short periods of time. The causes of these pressure variations were not established.

Dagens och framtidens avancerade vård flyttas alltmer ut i patientens hem. Utskrivning från den slutna vården sker i allt snabbare takt, större krav ställs på hemsjukvården. Överlämning och rapportering av patienten mellan olika funktioner och personal skall ske så att patientens omvårdnadsbehov tillgodoses på ett tillfredsställande sätt. Studiens syfte var att beskriva överlämnande och rapportering i patientens hem från distriktssköterska till ambulanspersonal. Postenkät, med slutna frågor av Likert typ och med möjlighet att motivera svaren, har använts i studien.
