I denna uppsats undersöktes tre kommuners arbete med hållbarhet i översiksplanen. Det finns ett problem idag att hållbar utveckling är ett vardagsord som riskerar att förlora sin innebörd pga. de många olika tolkningarna och angreppssätt. Om begreppet är så pass vagt som många påstår, hur hanteras det då i översiktsplanen, vilken ska leda kommunens framtida markanvändning? I uppsatsen undersöktes Trelleborg, Helsingborg och Lund kommuns översiktsplan.

Many jobs in rural areas have historically been linked to the agricultural sector. The restructuring that has been implemented in agriculture has resulted in a significant reduction in the number of jobs in rural areas. A consequence of this is that many people have moved to cities to earn a living. To maintain a living countryside in Sweden, it is therefore essential to create alternative livehoods in rural areas. An industry that can have a major impact in the future is rural tourism.

This paper deals with the subject internal communication. We received this assignment from Region Värmland, an organization formed jointly by the 16 municipalities in the county of Värmland, to take responsibility for regional development, growth issues, culture and adult education in Värmland. The organization consists of a number of geographically dispersed units with specialized working areas. In this type of organization, there are high demands on internal communication as a tool to coordinate the organization?s different units and integrate their work, in order to reach the common goals.

Syftet med föreliggande uppsats är att utifrån ett teoretiskt och begreppsmässigt ramverk, bestående av en diskussion kring demokratiteori, governance, samstyre och deltagande, att genomföra en analys av samstyret i naturumprocessen. Förloppet kring naturum utgjorde en betydande del i processen kring bildandet av Kosterhavets nationalpark. Karaktäristiskt för naturums samstyre har varit att företrädare för myndigheter från nationell, regional och kommunal nivå har styrt och samarbetat tillsammans med företrädare från lokal nivå. De aktörer som har ingått i samstyret har varit Naturvårdsverket, Länsstyrelsen Västra Götaland, Strömstads kommun, Kosternämnden och helårs- och delårsboende kosterbor. Fokus finns framförallt på medborgarnas och Kosternämndens deltagande.

This thesis is ordered by Peab Sweden AB Regional Jönköping and concerns of warranty inspections.The intention is to work out a basis, which show the most common complaints is the warranty inspections, and make a small analysis on what causes them to be. The report also presents possible solutions to prevent the occurrence of defects. It also covers the issue of how the client looks at Peabs way to overcome the objections of warranty inspections. Putnam first wrote about the causes behind the regional differences in economic and political development in Italy, the theory of social capital has truly flourished in the fields of social science. This days you constantly hear politicians and scholars stressing the important role of the quality of the social fabric to a society?s wellbeing. There all looking at ways to construct policies and institutions that help the spread of social capital.

In the year of 2009 the conditions for managing primary healthcare in the region of Västra Götalandchanged. The decision was taken by the regional assembly and resulted in that the citizens since thenhave had the opportunity to choose which health care provider they preferto stay with. Along with thisdecision a new market for private health careproviders was established, which resulted inincreasedcompetition between the providers.In order to manage the competition, the health care providers arenow forced to be more efficient in their operations andalso to beeven more focused on their patients.Backa Läkarhusgruppen is an example of a private healthcare provider in the region of Västra Götaland.In the same way it is also an example of anorganizationin need of analysing their operations to seehowit can be further optimized to meet patient needs and expectations.The aim of this study is to analyse Backa Läkarhusgruppen?s organization and its operationsin the hopeoffinding suggestions whichwill improve the patient flow.To allocate and solve the problems thatBacka Läkarhus suffer from,an approach inspired by Lean Healthcare is used throughout the report.Some of themost significant problems that were identified within the organization are:?The synchronization of demand and capacity is inadequate.?Absence of standardized routines.?Absence of present leadership.To be able to improve the patient flow Backa Läkarhus needs to handle these identified problem areas.By synchronizing the staffing level in relation to the trends in demand a reduction in the patient?swaiting times and throughput time will be possible. Creating clear responsibilities and routines for thestaff will contribute to a higher degree of patient focus and thus lead to a more efficient patient flow.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att identifiera faktorer som kan påverka samverkansorganet Östsams framtida utvecklingsmöjligheter. Jag har valt att göra en intervjubaserad fallstudie på fallet Östsam. Intervjupersonerna består av utvalda aktörer som arbetar i processen med Östams övergång från att vara en ideell förening till att bilda ett samverkansorgan. Vidare i undersökningen har jag valt att jämföra intervjuerna med den proposition som ligger till grund för det riksdagsbeslut som antagits angående bildandet av samverkansorgan. Begreppen: motiv, samverkansmöjligheter, skapande av legitimitet, utvecklingsmöjligheter och vision har legat till grund för stora delar av undersökningen.

The EU market is being deregulated, which sees Swedish farmers that have traditionally been governed by different support systems being forced to adapt to a free market system and having to deal with the concept of supply and demand. The farming sector has during the past several years experienced harder conditions and the deregulation of the market has directly affected farmers. The need for entrepreneurs and that way of thinking has been identified (McElwee, 2006). Swedish farmers are neither familiar with a free market or being required to think in an entrepreneurial manner, does this therefore implicate that Swedish farmers are not entrepreneurs?LRF is a national farmers? organization in Sweden and functions as a support for Swedish farmers.

In this essay, I investigate Swedish possibilities to influence the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union (CAP). After having summarized my findings, I try to explain the structure of influence by using Multi-level governance theory.Ten years have passed since Sweden joined the Union, and many changes have followed in the agricultural sector. By investigating the small country of Sweden's possibilities to influence CAP, I hope to be able to get a notion of the possibilities to influence the EU in general. The essay examines four possible paths for agricultural interests to influence the policy process in Brussels:* Through elected representatives of Sweden in the European Parliament, the Council of Ministers and in the Swedish Parliament* Through subnational institutions, such as the local authorities and regional representatives.* Through the Swedish Agricultural Office* Through the Swedish pressure group within the agricultural area, LRFThese four groups all have very different channels to the policy process on agricultural issues. The differences are mostly in terms of decisive power or advisory power and institutional contacts or lobby contacts.

In this study, I intend to examine some aspects of the activities of cultural companies in the town of Arvika. The study is qualitative in nature and based on in-depth interviews with self-employed cultural workers, as well as representatives from Arvika municipality. Cultural policy documents have been studied to clarify the self-employed status in the cultural sector and thus their importance to the cultural life in Arvika overall.My hope is to get a glimpse of what it means to work as a self-employed within the cultural sector in Arvika and the conditions that exist, in order to successfully run and develop their businesses.There is a shift in cultural policy, which has led to permanent forms of employment becoming fewer and self-employment to grow ( Karlsson & Lekvall, 6 ). One can say that the cultural sector has moved in the direction from a public matter, to the more privatized ( Köping , Lantz & Stenström, 3 ). The problem with this is that the policy of self-employment has not progressed at the same rate as the amount of business.

Syftet med arbetet har varit att analysera hur olika stadsplaneideal direkt eller underförstått framhävs i svensk stadsplaneringsdebatt och stadsbyggande samt att undersöka vilka planideal som förespråkas. Den svenska stadsplaneringsdebatten har analyserats utifrån ett urval av artiklar ifrån de tio senaste årens nummer av tidsskrifterna Arkitekten, Arkitektur, Plan och Nordisk arkitekturforskning, vilka kan sägas utgöra den huvudsakliga arenan för den fackmässiga stadsbyggnads- och planeringsdebatten i Sverige. Resultatet av analysen har jämförts med tre aktuella och omdebatterade stadsbyggnadsprojekt i syfte att undersöka vilka kopplingar som finns mellan dagens debatt och aktuellt stadsbyggande. Resultatet har även jämförts och diskuterats utifrån den historiska stadsplaneutvecklingen av den svenska staden för att undersöka hur olika stadsplaneideal påverkat stadsbyggandet i Sverige under olika tidsperioder samt i vilken utsträckning de stadsplaneideal som förekommer i dagens debatt hämtar sin inspiration ifrån historiska förebilder. Utifrån stadsplaneringsdebatten går det att utläsa två inriktningar i dagens stadsplaneideal. Dels den täta staden som hämtar inspiration ifrån den traditionella svenska kvartersstaden och motiveras med att den täta staden är den mest hållbara stadsformen, dels ett sökande efter nya alternativa stadsformer som inte kännetecknas av ett specifikt planeideal men som ser en risk i att föreslå en specifik planstruktur framför andra och att ett planideal per automatik skulle vara mer hållbart än ett annat.

The process of food production has changed dramatically over the past one hundred years. Industrialization has led to large units of production, manufacturing, distribution, marketing and retail business. The final food product, in this system, is quite often fairly anonymous and the consumer will most likely know very little concerning the origin of the product. In recent years, the market for locally produced food has grown. There is an increasing interest in and demand for locally produced food items.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera fyra statliga offentliga dokument för att se vad problemen är representerade att vara som leder politiken mot en riktning där den kommunala planeringen, i form av den fysiska planeringen och bostadsförsörjningsplaneringen, i större utsträckning ska ordnas i- och ta hänsyn till ett regionalt perspektiv. Syftet med denna uppsats blir således också att analysera villkoren för det kommunala självstyret när en av dess grundbultar, den kommunala planeringen, i ökad utsträckning ska ordnas i- och ta hänsyn till den regionala nivån.Den här uppsatsen teoretiska- och metodologiska ansats bygger på ett vetenskaplig paket av Carol Bacchi. Hennes ansats studerar problemrepresentationer och för att besvara den här uppsatsen övergripande frågeställningar använder jag mig av ett diskursanalysverktyg som är inspirerad utifrån hennes ansats.Den empiriska analysen visar att en av problemrepresentationerna är att det pågår en regionförstoring med växande funktionella regioner. En annan problemrepresenation som framträder i de undersökta dokumenten är att det anses vara betydande av en ökad samordning av den kommunala planeringen. Det kommunala planmonopolet, som är en del av det kommunala självstyret, problematiseras att vara av stor vikt i de undersökta dokumenten, men att det finns brister i tillämpningen m.m.
