Syftet med förstudien var att undersöka vilka parametrar som kommer ha inflytande på en regulator i ett nytt koncept för prognosstyrning av byggnaders värmesystem, och om möjligt även undersöka hur mycket inflytande de har. Påverkande parametrar är t ex utetemperatur, sol, vind, nederbörd och internvärme i samverkan med byggnaders huströghet, dvs. värmelagringsförmåga. Målet var att ta fram dels en specifikation, som beskrev olika driftfall, och dels ett designförslag på en möjlig webbaserad sida i ett av företaget Regins HMI-system (användarverktyg). Användargränssnittet till designförslaget skulle vara enkelt och tydligt att förstå, samt ha en tydlig koppling till energibesparing.Förstudien ?Innovativt koncept för prognosstyrning av byggnaders värmesystem? skulle ligga till grund för en utveckling av företaget AB Regin´s produktsortiment ? resultatet av specifikationen och designförslaget kommer senare implementeras i en fungerande produkt, som skall innehålla både prognosstyrning och val av komfort.Prognosstyrning har funnits sedan 1980-talet och det som ursprungligen skulle uppnås med detta var ett jämnare inomhusklimat.

Building Automation Systems in commercial buildings are often designed and installed by different contractors, using equipment and components from different manufacturers. The lack of an accepted communication standard has resulted in a few different standards. Many manufacturers of building automation systems only support one, a few or none of these standards, while developing proprietary system solutions. Regin, who develop such equipment, are planning to adopt an open communication protocol specially designed for building automation - BACnet. As a step in that direction this thesis was announced with the purpose to investigate the possibility to implement BACnet in one of their products and to gain more knowledge of the BACnet protocol.

The first aim of this study is to discuss and try to understand the relationship between the holy andethics, and more specifically how it can be understood, which is the critical question that I haveformulated, in Giorgio Agamben?s and Emmanuel Levinas? philosophies. The second, moreconstructive aim is to discuss whether the holy can be understood as something good or problematicin relation to the society.Rooted in philosophy of religion and ethics, I have first tried to discuss how the holy has beenunderstood in the philosophy of phenomenology and in the texts of Rudolf Otto, Mircea Eliade andEspen Dahl. The holy has in the history been understood as something central in religions, and hasalso not been connected to the idea of ethics. Recently it has also been critized ? by Dahl ? for notbeing so pure as first thought of.In Levinas texts the holy has been understood as something differentiated through his distiction,in the Talmudic reading ?Desacralization and Disenchantment?, between the holy, which can beseen as something pure, and the sacred which can been seen as something impure and a form ofdegenerated holiness.
