This thesis was written during the autumn 2007. I wanted to understand the situation of the contemporary architecture in a perspective broader than merely the Swedish. I asked myself what remained of architecture if one would eliminate purely functional, aesthetical and ecological aspects. With help from literature I interviewed theorists in architecture, practitioners and a philosopher to hear their thoughts regarding what architecture can or should be about. The result of the interviews and the literature studies constitute the two initial parts of the thesis.

Syfte: Syftet med studien är att a) kartlägga vilka former av vänskap som i praktiken förekommer mellan revisorer och uppdragsgivare på mindre orter i Sverige samt b) skapa/utveckla en teoretisk modell för vilka former av vänskap som är acceptabla inom teori, praktik och lagens råmärken.Metod och teori: Författarna har för att uppnå studiens syfte använt sig av en kvalitativ metod där fem revisorer från tre mindre orter intervjuats om deras syn på bland annat vänskapshotet. Som teoretisk referensram har författarna använt sig av gällande lagstiftning och teorier inom området oberoende, samt en modell för vänskapsnivåer från tidskriftsartikeln Friendship networks through time: An actor-oriented dynamic statistical network model, Van De Bunt G.G. (1999).Sammanfattande slutsats: Relationen mellan revisor och kund på mindre orter har visat sig vara en mycket svårfrånkomlig problematik. Hotet ökar med långvariga uppdrag där en relation mellan revisor och kund ter sig ofrånkomlig. En strikt yrkesmässig relation med ett absolut oberoende mellan revisor och uppdragsgivare är en utopisk syn på verkligheten.

Bakgrund: Cirka tre till fyra procent av alla barn ligger i sätesbjudning vid fullgången graviditet. Med alltmer antal lyckade vändningsförsök och ökat antal kejsarsnitt minskar antalet barn som förlöses vaginalt vid sätesbjudning. Det påverkar barnmorskors och obstetrikers möjlighet att upprätthålla kompetensen vid sätesbjudning. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva barnmorskors synpunkter om vaginal sätesförlossning. Metod: Öppna frågor vid intervjuer med fem förlossningsbarnmorskor i Göteborg.

What is the relation of image and word, of sentences and pictures? What kind of message does this combination produce when juxtaposed on a single material plane? And how do we read its ?infinite? relation? These are the questions at the center of this inquiry. My main interest concerns the exact nature of the relation between photographic images and textual elements of poetic language when these are juxtaposed in what I call Phototext poetry.The thesis calls into question the conventional reading habits of the conjunction of photographs and texts, and seeks to understand the more complex connections intrinsic to the relation image/word and its material and perceptual play in poetic works. Does a text always ?anchor? the multiple meanings of an image, as Roland Barthes argues? What if the alterations of an image could ?anchor? certain fractions of a poetic, polysemantic textual construct? Is a photograph indifferent to the visual, material permutations of texts that certain contemporary poetic practices produce?I discuss phototextual works and collaborations of various kinds, from Molin fontän [?Molin?s fountain?] (1866) over classic surrealist poetry to language-oriented writing.

Kunskap är en av de viktigaste och mest värdefulla tillgångarna för företag. Under de senaste decennierna har Knowledge Management (KM) fått utökat fokus av både företag och forskare. Parallellt med denna utveckling organiserar allt fler organisationer sitt arbete i projektform. Projektformen innebär ytterligare utmaningar avseende kunskapsöverföring i jämförelse med en typisk hierarkisk organisation, då projekten är temporära vilket påverkar lärandet och kunskapsöverföringen mellan projekt.Med detta som utgångspunkt ämnar detta examensarbete närmre undersöka kunskapsöverföring i en projektorienterad organisation. De frågeställningar som ska besvaras lyder enligt följande:Vilka problem finns vid kunskapsöverföring i en projektorienterad organisationVilken KM-strategi är lämplig i denna typ av organisation?Vilken nytta kan förbättrad kunskapsöverföring generera för organisationen?För att besvara dessa frågor har en djupgående fallstudie utförts på Sweco Management.

SUMMARY Establish a pasture There is many valuable nature and culture landscapes in Sweden that has developed during a long period of time, throw natural processes or human use. Unfortunately lot of these are disappearing. My thought with this work is to explore the possibility to establish new areas with similar qualities. The motive for this is that attractive countryside biotopes are well worth to use as model to enrich the urban landscape. Another thought has concerned the people that establish, build and manage landscapes and parks. They often have varied views, both coming from a difference in background and previous experiences.

I dagens samhälle handlar det om att vara så effektiv som möjligt för att vinna tid. Som Benjamin Franklin en gång sa att ?Tid är pengar?, är något som vi människor allt mer tagit fasta på då vi ställer höga krav på utvecklingen och dess teniska förmågor. Idag har de flesta människor tillgång till en dator med internetuppkoppling som vi dagligen utför sysslor vid. Det kan vara allt ifrån jobbrelaterade aktiviteter, hålla kontakten med nära och kära, söka information om vad som händer i världen och i vår omgivning, till mer nöjesinriktade delar såsom online spel och shopping.

Purpose This thesis tries to create an understanding of how male homosexual entrepreneurs, both as persons and as a concept, relates to the fact that entrepreneurship, as well as the society as a whole, is heteronormative. Moreover, it examines by what methods the male homosexual entrepreneurs cope with the seemingly paradox of a homosexual man who also is an entrepreneur. Method The method has been qualitative from a social construction-point of view. We have made semi-structured interviews with nine male homosexual entrepreneurs and structured the findings from the interviews with a computer programme and mind mapping techniques. We have compared the structured findings with theories, in an abducting manner, to find out an answer to the purpose of this thesis.

This MSc thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the need for information from forest campartments selected for clear cutting, in connection with planning in an integrated forest- and sawmill enterprise. A review of literature is followed by a case stud y, where present conditions in a Swedish forest company are compared with current research in the area. The seeond part consists of a simulation stud y, which aims at camparing the accuracy of inventory estimates using different methods. The estimates are delivery forecasts, covering one month consumptian of timber in a large sawmill.

I studien redogörs varför acceptansen påverkas av användarinvolveringen, samt hur påverkan sker och vad som leder till den.IT genomsyrar idag så gott som alla former av företagsamhet. Affärssystem stödjer affärsprocesser i flera branscher, från tillverkande företag till renodlade tjänsteföretag. Ett företag behöver exempelvis anpassa både sina affärsprocesser och det nya affärssystem för allt som sker inom företaget. På grund av komplexiteten som detta för med sig är implementeringen ofta ett stort steg för företaget och dess anställda.

To what extent do young Muslims relate to the left-right-scale in Swedish politics?: A case study from SUM?s youth conference of 2009.English AbstractIn Sweden there seem to be a growing concern about young people?s waning involvement in party politics. Another group that is sometimes described as uninvolved in politics is immigrants, living in worn down suburbs with low employment and education levels. In expressing sentiments like those above, it seems that ?guilt? is shifted onto young people or immigrants.

Landscape urbanism has for the last decade been a topic for debate among practitioners and theorists involved in forming the contemporary city. The advocates for landscape urbanism mean that traditional dichotomies like city and country are invalid to illustrate the contemporary urban realm. Rather, a new urban morphology has evolved, which calls for new methods and models when approaching the city. Landscape urbanism suggests a revaluation of landscape in order to develop these approaches. This paper sets out to map how this is addressed within landscape urbanism.
