Studien syftade till att undersöka inomhusmiljön på förskolor och vilka förutsättningar och hinder för barns utveckling och lärande som miljön kan innebära. Studien utgick från tre frågeställningar som belyser hur den fysiska miljön i förskolan är anordnad, hur barnen interagerar i miljön och vad det i sin tur kan innebära för barns utveckling och lärande. Studien genomfördes vid två förskolor och sju lärare och 16 barn deltog. Gruppintervjuer med verksamheternas lärare, samt observationer av barnens interaktioner i rum och miljöer användes som undersökningsinstrument för att samla empiri till studien.Resultatet visade att förskolornas miljöer var planerade utifrån lärarnas tankar om barns behov och intressen, samt vilka förmågor lärarna ansåg att barnen behövde utveckla. Av resultatet framgick även att den miljö och det material som tilltalade barnen mest, var den miljö som gjorde det möjligt för barnen att låta deras egen fantasi och lek få vara utgångspunkten i deras aktiviteter.

Hence the material consists mainly of content from the community www.communityofsweden.com and the webpage www.visitsweden.com. In addition, the study is also based on an interview with VisitSwedens communitydriver Tommy Sollén.Main results: Members of CommunityOfSweden help VisitSweden to promote Sweden. This is possible because the community posting format and the participatory culture within the community are well designed and planned by VisitSweden, even though the organisation was not completely sure about the outcome.

I studien tas måttlistor fram för tre barnplagg med funktionsdetaljer. Plaggen graderas för att kontrollera att skillnadsintervallerna är rimliga att skicka vidare till produktion. Studien genomförs mot ett företag som uppgiften utformas tillsammans med och som bidrar med material i form av tyg, provplagg att utgå ifrån, samt handledning.Metoden för studien är huvudsakligen experimentell forskning i form av avmätning, konstruktion, gradering och sömnad. Underlag för den experimentella forskningen består av litteratur. Huvudfokus ligger på gradering då plaggen i studien omfattar ett stort storleksspann innehållande 12 storlekar vilka är 86-152 centilong.

Motivation: The aim of this study has been to conduct a comparative study concerning how race, ethnicity and class is represented in American contrary to Swedish daily press and from there on to explore and explain similarities and differences that have been found in the material.Problem statement:? What causes the similiarities and differences to achieve their current form?Material: The material which has been the subject of this study consists of eight articles ? four American articles (USA Today) and four Swedish articles (Dagens Nyheter). The material has been elected to meet certain criterias and mainly discusses the effects the health care reform will have on the American population.Approach: The material has been approached by using theories concerned with race, ethnicity, class and framing. The method used to analyze the material was Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA).Results: The results shows significant similarities, although mainly differences, between the countries? daily news flow.

Design beskrivs ofta som form och funktion med utgångspunkt i givna förutsättningar. Jag benämner dessa förutsättningar begränsningar som ger ett motstånd. En parallell till matlagning kan dras för att beskriva designprocessen. Råvarorna är det givna materialet som av kocken med hjälp av kokkärl och verktyg kombinerar ihop till en rätt. Resultatet är förhoppningsvis men inte alltid gott däremot ofta överraskande.

Purpose of the essay: The purpose of the essay is to, from the view of the nurses working at the x-ray infirmary; see how the internal e-mail communication is working as the main digital communication method at the x-ray infirmary.Material/Method: The material has been collected using qualitative interviews with eight nurses working at the x-ray infirmary. The material has then been analyzed through a theoretical perspective based on The Media Richness theory.Main results: The results of the investigation have shown that the nurses see the internal e-mail communication as relatively poor. The information that is sent out by their superiors is often too extensive, this making the screening work an extra work burden. These e-mails are also supplied to the whole infirmary instead of being addressed to specific individuals. Seen through a media richness perspective, the e-mail is a mediumrich communication medium that well could be used in the everyday communication at the infirmary as the main communication agent.

I got interested in this subject when I came in contact with Västtrafiks new paymentsystem myself during my visits in Gothenburg. I suspected problems with the informationmaterial regarding it and others seemed to share my opinion that the payment system wasdiffcult to understand. When I contacted Västtrafik and asked them about the paymentsystem they confirmed that some understanding diffculties had occurred. With thatconfirmation I decided to make it my project to look in to the matter.Some methods were used to identify the problems. The methods could again confirm thatthere were some problems with the payment system and that the information material wasa vital reason.

This paper examines the consequences of membership and participation in immigrant associations on individual immigrants? political integration and indirect political participation with reference to Swedish society. The theoretical underpinnings consist of a social structural outlook on social capital, combined with the Civic Voluntarism Model, both of which focus on the potential role of social networks for moving people into political action. After a presentation of parallel qualitative data over the experiences of individual members in a Finnish and Bosnian-Hercegovinian organisation, it is suggested that immigrant associations support the political integration of their members into the host society. Firstly, the case studies indicate that members of immigrant associations gain the opportunity to augment their civic skills, which is a significant prerequisite for political participation.

Volvo Cars in Skövde manufacture and assemble Volvo engines. When attaching the ignition coil to all 4-cylinder engines, a special mounting tool is required. This mounting tool is currently manufactured from injection-molded polyoxymethylene (POM), a thermoplastic. It has been noted that the life span of the tool is shortened as a result of abrasive wear that occurs during the attachment process of the ignition coil.An investigation of the possibility of manufacturing the mounting tool with a 3D-printer is undertaken in cooperation with ÅF, a consultant to Volvo Cars. A literature study is first presented to introduce broader knowledge on the subject.

The aim of this thesis was to use qualitative approaches to show how teachers in primary school reason on their way to meet and communicate with children who have ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). Research questions of the study were as follows: How does teachers in primary school reason about their way to communicate with children with ADHD? Do the teachers use some specific methods or means of communication with students who have ADHD? Do the teachers reason about their way how to handle conflicts with students who have ADHD? I collected my empirical material through a qualitative interview method. My theoretical starting points were interaction theory and the socio-cultural perspective. I have used these theories to analyze my material.

The question remains, however, how best to study symbolism within the material confines of archaeological research?(Fogelin 2007:63)With my essay I would like to bring up the meaning of the soapstonelamp for the Thule culture in Greenland. Humans in the arctic area, from the same in the north of Scandinavia to the inuites in Greenland, have a common way of viewing the world that stems from anemismen.

A discussion regarding the alignment and measuring procedure of propeller shafts has arose due to the competing situation in the industry, and higher standards from the customers. An estimation of the deflection of shafts in different alignment situations has been made with help of FEM-analysis and beam theory. This has been analyzed and compared with the experience from Rolls-Royce AB suppliers of shafts. An evaluation of measuring protocols has been made and the result indicates that there is a correlation between the deflection of the shaft and the run out. Results from a measuring test performed by Balino, Spain, verifies this conclusion.

Studien är en kvalitativ undersökning som bygger på guidade rundvandringar och intervjuer med sex pedagoger från tre olika förskolor, både på småbarnsavdelningar och på syskonavdelningar. Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilken betydelse pedagoger tillmäter inomhusmiljöns utformning i förskolan med avseende på barns tillgångar till material och aktiviteter för sin utveckling och sitt lärande. Kunskapsöversikten redogör för ett historiskt perspektiv om hur förskolans inomhusmiljö har utvecklats och exempel ges på pedagogiska influenser som förskolorna kan ta idéer ifrån. Den belyser även miljöaspekten utifrån olika styrdokument och litteratur. Resultatet visar på att förskolornas inomhusmiljö har en fast objektiv miljö som utformas utifrån de resurser som finns tillgängliga för att få den subjektiva miljön i verksamheten.

Vi har i den här uppsatsen fokuserat på hur Informations- och KommunikationsTeknik (IKT) kan användas av pedagoger i en förskoleklass. Syftet har varit att undersöka hur IKT används samt göra en inventering av IKT-relaterat material. För att få svar på våra frågeställningar har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ metod genom observation, fotografering samt intervju. Vi utförde vår empiriska undersökning i en förskoleklass där det arbetade två pedagoger. Efter vår inventering blev pedagogerna förvånade över att de hade så mycket IKT-relaterat material i klassrummet.

Denna rapport beskriver utvecklingen av en kontorsarbetsplats för framtiden. Projektet utfördes som ett examensarbete inom integrerad produktutveckling vid Högskolan i Skövde under vårterminen 2011 i samarbete med Götene Specialinredningar.Götene Specialinredningar produktionsanpassar och tillverkar möbler som är specialdesignade av en arkitekt på uppdrag av en beställare. Kontorsmöbelbranschen har fastnat i ett tänk och de flesta möbler ser likadana ut, har samma funktioner och samma material.  Företaget vill därför få en ny syn på hur ett kontor kan vara i framtiden.Arbetet inleddes med förstudier för att få information om användning, ergonomi och material. Från förstudien erhölls krav som slutkonceptet skulle uppfylla. Det bestämdes att arbetet skulle rikta sig till öppna kontorslandskap eftersom det är det som används mest av företagets kunder.
