Denna studies syfte är att undersöka hur elever och deras bildlärare idag uppfattar bildämnet i en svensk skola samt lust som motivation. Ett socialt konstruktivistiskt samt progressivistiskt perspektiv på lärande och Peter Gärdenfors forskning om lust som motivation är denna studies teoretiska utgångspunkter. Den empiriska studien har pågått under fyra veckor på ett svenskt högstadium. Kvantitativa enkäter och kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer har genomförts med sex elever och två lärare. Resultatet från den empiriska undersökningen har analyserats och tolkats kvantitativt och kvalitativt.

The amendment of a law which is expected to come may well have a significant impact on the Swedish real-estate broke market. The law change will probably have an effect in the number of ways real-estate brokers will compete as a result of the increasing variety of services offered. In order to gain competitive advantages brokers must be at the forefront in the development regarding the changing market. To do so requires that the company chooses an appropriate range of peripheral services that are profitable. The problem is to choose the ?right? services to convey. The purpose of this paper is to describe the services that are in demand for transmission and how the agents can work to meet the demand of this new market.

ABSTRAKT Patienter spenderar generellt lång tid på akutmottagningen, och i samband med Akademiska sjukhusets LEAN-arbete för att effektivisera akutvården så gjordes denna tidsstudie. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur lång tid patienter med bröstsmärta spenderar på akutmottagningen, hur lång tid det tar innan de blir triagerade och hur lång tid det tar innan de träffar en läkare. Könsskillnader och huruvida patienterna ankom i ambulans eller via reception studerades. Studien var en kvantitativ observationsstudie där 48 patienter deltog, 33 kvinnor och 15 män. Medelåldern var 56 år, och ålderspannet var 21 ? 91 år.

This master thesis summarizes contemporary theories on secularization processes in the Western world, and compares these with the example of Sweden, which by many scholars is considered to be the most secularized country in the Western world.I do this by dividing the most influential theorists in five different groups. In each group I explain how the theorists formulate and motivate their positions. These groups are:1) The secularization paradigm, where secularization always accompanies modernization. (Therorists: Steve Bruce and Peter Berger (in the 1960s)2) The paradigm basically accepted, but revised to depend on existential security, rather than modernisation as such. (Pippa Norris and Ronald Inglehart)3) Religion returned in the public sphere.

IT is a natural part of the work today when it comes to projects. There are many aspects that are wholly or partly dependent on IT support actions to proceed efficiently. Although there is still situations where IT is deselected as a tool. The factors that make it look like this is not always included in the calculation, which resulted in the failure that could have been remedied with the right tools to solve the problems. The project form which today is increasingly common with all major groups involved enables IT tools' impact also becomes an increasingly provided they are used properly.

The aim of my study is to investigate if and in that case how the writing process and texts written by students in the upper secondary school are affected by the writing tool; does it matter if they write their texts on a computer or by longhand? Another objective is to compare such an effect with the findings of previous studies performed on earlier generations of writers. The first part of my study was a survey. It showed that two thirds of the 67 students participating thought that they would have written better texts in the national writing test if they had been able to use computers. In the second part of the study each of the fourteen participants wrote one text on computer and another by hand.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate if pulsed inhaled nitric oxide (PiNO) could be used as a treatment for hypoxemia during general anaesthesia in colic horses. Previous studies have shown a positive response in horses receiving PiNO in comparison to controls, but these studies have only included healthy individuals. A total of 30 horses were included in this present study, they all underwent abdominal surgery because of acute colic that could not be medically treated. Fifteen of the horses received PiNO and 15 horses served as a control group. Arterial oxygenation was improved in all horses receiving PiNO.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how genealogists create identity through their own research, and how they live with their ancestors in the everyday life. The questions at issue are: How do genealogists deal with concepts like ?native home district?, ?heritage? and ?family?. Does it exist a problem in creating identity and how genealogists regard other people with a different background, for instance immigrants. This thesis consists of three parts: in the first I present my aim, questions at issue, my method with qualitative interviews, and my theoretical frame from sociology and anthropology.

The tomato is an important crop worldwide, and in recent years it has received great attention due to its rich content of carotenoids, which in studies indicate to have health benefiting properties. Many studies have been done in this area of research and in how to optimize the carotenoid content in tomatoes and tomato products. This study is not written from the viewpoint of business economics, it is rather a study from a cultural and social studies perspective. The main purpose of this C-essay is to answer the question: What have been the consequences and effects of the merit point system on language studies and the parties concerned (teachers, students and principals) during the school year of 2010/11?The merit point system is the result of a political decision and was implicated for the first time in the Swedish upper secondary school during the school year 2010/2011. Denna studie utreder de motstridiga uppgifter som idag förekommer om Bo Hanssons mest framgångsrika album Sagan om Ringens reception i Sverige efter att den gavs ut december 1970. Dess genomslag har i dagens relativt knapphändiga receptionsmaterial beskrivits som en omedelbar succé men samtidigt som enbart måttlig. Studien innefattar huvudsakligen insamlade och granskade historiska primärkällor i form av dags- och kvällstidningsartiklar från Sveriges fyra största tidningar och styrs av en huvudfråga och en följande bifråga: I vilken omfattning omskrevs verket och hur formulerades receptionen i dåtidens svenska press? Bifrågan grundas i utsagor om en särställning som Bo Hansson idag anses ha erhållit jämte sin samtida sociokulturella kontext, nämligen sjuttiotalets svenska Musikrörelse även kallad Proggrörelsen. Studien föranleds av ett biografiskt bakgrundsavsnitt och avrundas med en kort biografisk epilog som syftar till att stärka läsarens helhetsförståelse av uppsatsens centrala artikelstudie.

In a preparatory class are newly arrived students who have no or very little knowledge of the Swedish language. Some of the newly arrived pupils may have arrived in Sweden very recently and some of them have no or very limited understanding and experience of how the school system works in their country of origin. The purpose of this study is to find out how education in a selected preparatory class works seen from two SVA-teachers and students perspective. Questions related to my purpose reads as follows:In which way can two of the SVA-teachers respond in a selected preparatory class to their group of newly arrived students?What methods can be used by the two SVA-teachers in a selected preparatory class to their group of newly arrived students' language learning?How does the newly arrived student in a selected preparatory class experience their education and friendship?The study was conducted through a qualitative approach in a selected preparatory class in a multicultural school in a suburb in southern Stockholm. Through observations on six separate occasions as well as interviews with two of the SVA- teachers in the selected preparatory class, and with three of the newly arrived pupils during a period of three weeks.

One of the biggest challenges in the construction industry today is to improve the logistics since improved logistics leads to lower costs. This is something that the construction companies have started to realize and they are beginning to invest more money in order to improve the logistics. It is especially important to have good logistics when the conjuncture turns for the worse.
