The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to create a product in the form of a database that can be used for cost estimates of equipment within bio refineries. Vår undersökning har kommit fram till att det existerar vissa anomalimönster på Stockholms fondbörs under åren 1980-2002. Vi har kunnat konstatera att aktieavkastningarna i regel har varit högre i början av året jämfört med sista delen av året. Vi har även observerat en förändring samt mer tydliga anomalimönster under 1990-talet. Detta påvisas både i vår studie av 15-15 månadsavkastningar samt i vår studie av kalendermånadsavkastningar. Vi konstaterar att januarieffekten fortfarande är stark under 1990-talet samt att effekten även håller i sig in i februari månad.

The usage time is an important part of the specification for products powered bybatteries. The usage time is affected by a number of different elements; technical,environmental and how the product is being used. The method to determine theusage time is intended to define how measurements and calculations are to berealized along with influencing factors to keep in mind. With support from thismethod the intention is to gain control on how well the established usage time canbe expected to cohere with the real value and what affects the value.The study is done specifically for hearing protectors with battery powered built inelectronically functions. The functions can be level dependent function forambient hearing, 2-way radio communication, Bluetooth or FM-radio.The first chapter of the report describes the literature study performed in theproject.

År 2012 uppgick innehaven på svenska börsen till 3 715 miljarder kronor. The purpose of this thesis is to through the analysis of interviews with finance professionals in listed companies answer the question on what lies behind capital structure decisions, and to see how well the prevailing theories fit the answers. This article is an explorative and descriptive hypothesis creating study. We have used a qualitative method to analyse practice through theory. We have conducted telephone interviews with CFO:s and financial executives in Swedish listed companies on how they reason when they make capital structure decisions. We have then thoroughly reviewed the theory and empirical tests of the theories.

Abstrakt Denna studie undersöker RSI indikatorn, och dennas förmåga att skapa en bättre avkastning än en Buy and Hold strategi. Studien har baserats på 27 olika aktier noterade på OMX Stockholm 30, 2006-12-29, under en tidsperiod om 7 år, 2000-01-03 till 2006-12-29. Genom att beräkna medelvärdet per 14 dagar för kursuppgångar respektive kursnedgångar har 14 dagars RSI beräknats. Därefter har köp- respektive säljsignaler beräknats genom om-funktioner i Excel. RSI strategin innebär att position tas på första köpsignal och säljs på nästkommande säljsignal under tidsperioden.

TV 4 was the first channel to send commercial in Swedish television.TV has the advantage of showing both sound and picture, which makes TV the strongest channel of communication to mediate a message between a company and the consumer. Although TV-commercial is the most expensive choice to mediate a message, it is also the most effective one. (Persson, 1993)Almost everyone is exposed to TV-commercial daily.

En investerare bör därför diversifiera sin portfölj till att även inkludera tillgångar på den internationella finansiella marknaden. Detta innebär att dagens svenska investerare behöver läsa finansiell information på ett andraspråk, vanligtvis på engelska. Då tidigare studier inom beteendefinansiering visar på samband mellan språk och finansiella beslut, syftar den aktuella studien till att undersöka huruvida individers riskpreferenser vid beslutsfattande påverkas av om information läses på svenska (modersmål för svenska investerare) respektive engelska (andraspråk). Detta sker genom en enkätundersökning bland anställda på fyra svenska banker.

?Högfrekvenshandel har de senaste åren växt till att bli en betydande kraft på de finansiella marknaderna och således även fått mycket medial uppmärksamhet. Den här medieuppmärksamheten intensifierades den 6:e maj 2010 då "Flash-krashen" inträffade på Dow Jones indexet i New York och påverkade marknader över hela världen.Vår avsikt med den här kandidatuppsatsen är att kritiskt granska högfrekvenshandeln som fenomen samt den diskussion som förs angående ytterligare reglering av handeln. Detta görs genom en inledande period av litteraturstudier som kompletteras med djupintervjuer av olika aktörer på marknaden.Våra resultat visar att högfrekvenshandeln inte för med sig så stora negativa effekter som media målar upp, och att den forskning som gjorts på ämnet indikerar att handeln främst tillför positiva effekter i form av ökad likviditet och minskad volatilitet.Uppsatsen behandlar även dagens regleringssituation och analyserar de förslag på åtgärder som har lagts fram på EU-nivå. Vår analys visar att många av de förslag som diskuteras är direkt missriktade och inte adresserar det egentliga problemet? en situation som kantas av oklara roller gällande tillsyn och övervakning..

I denna studie lyfter vi fram VD relativa ersättning i förhållande till resterande koncernledning. Studiens syfte är att analysera effekterna av en stark VD genom att undersöka sambandet mellan VD:s andel ersättning och företagets resultat vad gäller värde och lönsamhet. Studien bygger på teorier som agentteorin, stewardshipteorin, tournamentteorin och cateringteorin. För att besvara frågan om samband existerar har en kvantitativ metod använts. Data har sedan analyserats med hjälp av regressionsanalyser för att identifiera samband.

This thesis deals with the numerical 3D simulation of a four stroke, spark-ignited, internalcombustion engine, which is mounted on a high performance motorcycle. The work, carried outin collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and MV Agusta, focuses on the simulation of theintake, compression and expansion stroke, including combustion simulation, using an opensource CFD code.Simulation of internal combustion engines offers a great challenge in the field of CFD research.Moving boundaries of the solution domain, caused by the motion of the piston and valves, leadsto deformation of the computational grid, with decreasing quality of the solution as result. Basedon this, a previously developed mesh motion strategy was employed where a number of meshesare used to cover the whole simulation cycle. Within each mesh interval the internal cell pointsof the mesh are moved to account for the boundary motion of the piston and valves. This strategywas previously applied to simplified geometries as well as real engine geometries.

This degree project is based on identifying and allocation of costs in a packaging section at Electrolux Distriparts in Torsvik.The purpose of this thesis is to identify the costs that emerge when packaging different articles and show how the costs are allocated. The report also contains improvement suggestions about how the company can use the current computer system more efficient.The methods that have been used in order to approach the problem and the collection of information have mainly been literature study, interviews and observation.The work started with answering the questions; which expenditure cost and direct cost exist in the section, how can they be allocated, if improvement can be done and how the flow of information is supposed to happen.In order to answer the questions we used our former experience and the knowledge we achieved by reading literature, interview relevant persons in the company and observations carried out in the section.Through our studies, we came up with an Excel file, which is the groundwork for a template that can be used by the company in different occasions depending on the situation and need. It is important to remember to modify the template if the presumptions change. In the template, we have identified the different kind of costs that emerge when packaging different articles and we have also allocated the costs. In addition formulas and estimations that are necessary for the cost calculation are presented.The work consisted in making the groundwork for a template.
