The study aims to contribute knowledge about children's perceptions of the leisure-time as a learning environment. The study can be seen as an attempt to highlight the possible learning in the leisure-time, formally or informally.The study is based on two group interviews with a total of 11 children and was conducted by an interview guide with question areas to be discussed freely so that the children could give as full an answer as possible.Main results of the study show that children feel that they are staying at the leisure-time to get care when their parents are working and that they primarily associate the leisure-time with playing. The results show however that children feel that they learn things when participating in the leisure-time teaches controlled activities.It is possible to draw conclusions about the child actually experienced the leisure-time as a learning environment, but it can be difficult to identify when and how learning actually occurs. However, children do not perceive that there is learning while they play..

För att skapa möjligheter för elever att utveckla sitt språk samt sin läs- och skrivförmåga behöver de goda förebilder. Genom vår utbildning har vi tagit del av hur högläsning möjliggör för läraren att vara en läsande förebild och hur man genom att prata om ord, meningsbyggnad och det skrivna språket kan främja elevers språk-, läs- och skrivutveckling. I vår studie har vi undersökt högläsning som verksamhet i skolans första år genom att identifiera samband mellan vad, när och varför lärare läser högt. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ studie där vi genom intervjuer av lärare erhållit den data som ligger till grund för vårt resultat. Av resultatet framkom tre samband mellan vad, när och varför lärare använder högläsning i verksamheten. De rådande sambanden har att göra med de olikheter som visar sig utifrån om högläsning används som integrerad del av undervisningen eller inte.

This bachelor thesis aims to explore the public?s personal connection and attachment to place, as well as their perception of changes in the built environment that has occurred in close proximity to the area. Based upon a questionnaire carried out in a public square in Gothenburg, namely J?rntorget, the study examines the impact of the construction of two high-rise buildings that was initiated roughly five years ago adjacent to the square. The essays theoretical framework is based on the concept sense of place, a concept which derives from the discipline of Geography. My paper, ?Us and Them ? an analysis of the creation of ?the Other? in The Reluctant Fundamentalist and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas?, aims to examine Mohsin Hamid´s and John Boyne´s novels from the years 2007 and 2008. The paper tries to answer the following questions: How is ?the Other?and?Us and Them?created in the novels? And: What consequences does the thinking in terms of ?the Other?and?Us and Them?lead to in the novels? The examination is done through the method of close reading and by applying the theory of Orientalism and Edward W. Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att utifrån ett lärarperspektiv, belysa möjligheter och problem i läsförståelseundervisningen och att bidra till en fördjupad kunskap om elever i behov av särskilt stöd i sin läsutveckling. Det empiriska materialet består av en enkät som har vesvarats av 64 lärare som undervisar i svenska i år 1-6. Studien är kvalitativ och inspirerad av enomenografin.Resultaten visar att lärarna i studien har erfarenhet av flera olika typer av lässvårigheter. Läsförståelsesvårigheter upptäcks på flera olika sätt: läsförståelse, avkodning, muntlig fömåga, svårigheter med andra uppgifter, arbetsminne, ordförråd, strategier för att inte läsa samt känslomässiga reaktioner. Flera av informanterna har mött elever i år 3-4 som kan avkoda bra men ändå inte förstår innehåller i en text.

The purpose of this study is, by groupinterviewing students in upper secondary school, to investigate students comprehension of equality on a principle level and a concrete level. The questions at issue are as follows; how is the comprehension on respective levels described and is there any difference or similarities between the two levels? Further more, this study also aims to end with a discussion regarding the result from the mainpurpose in relation to the educational environment. In my conclusion there is to be find a certain difference between the comprehensions of equality on the two levels. The conception of equality is in the beginning principled and there is no exception from the worth of every individual but however, when the conception is brought out in reality it gets depended of its context and the comprehension for equality becomes more dynamic. The project will be completed with a discussion regarding the results in relation to the educational environment. .

The purpose of this study is to conduce to the understanding of what challenges the HRdepartmentfaces in the work with the psychosocial work environment in nonprofit organizationsin Sweden. A particular focus in the study is on how the certain features of the nonprofit sectoraffect and tend to contribute to these challenges. In both Swedish and International research thereappears to be a lack of studies that deal with the psychosocial work environment in the nonprofitsector, which is one of the main reasons for this study. International research show, among otherthings, that employees in this sector have a higher degree of work satisfaction than in othersectors. Especially, they value the sense of making a contribution to the society, to get feedbackon their work performance as well as they expect a high level of co-determination.

Different educational and professional backgrounds play important roles in how school librarians prioritize activities in the school library. Whether the school librarian has a background as a teacher or as a librarian, they influence and apprehend the activities of the school library differently. The aim of this thesis is to find out how the school librarian looks at his/her commission. What shifts in priorities can be recognized depending on whether the librarian has training as a teacher or a librarian. This thesis also analyzes how the two different professional backgrounds justify their priorities in the school library.

This Master´s thesis examines the conceptual ideas of science fiction and science fiction fandom produced in the Swedish fanzine Science Fiction Forum (1960-) between the years 1960 and 1980. Science Fiction Forum was and still is a fanzine published by Skandinavisk Förening för Science Fiction (Scandinavian Science Fiction Club). Both the club and the fanzine are a part of the phenomenon called fandom.A fandom is a collective of people called fans who form a community by sharing a special interest in a special object. The fanzine is one of the many material products produced by fans within a certain fandom. Science Fiction Forum and Skandinavisk Förening för Science Fiction were founded in 1959 and are a part of swedish science fiction fandom, where the object of fandom is literary science fiction..The primary focus of this thesis is the meta discussion on science fiction and science fiction fandom in Science Fiction Forum.
