Denna studie vill ge större inblick och förståelse för individen bakom den kriminella stämpeln, samt bringa insyn i dessa individers egna tankar om sina kriminella handlingar och kampen ut ur kriminaliteten. Avsaknaden av tron på att personliga livshändelser sker utifrån egna handlanden, där personen istället agerar passivt offer i sitt liv är något som återfinns hos interner. Motsatsen till detta är personer som tror på sitt eget handlande, det vill säga internal locus of control. Denna uppsats belyser kriminellas bakgrundshistoria till uppbrottet ur den kriminella livsstilen med fokus på locus of control, vändpunkter och framtidsperspektiv. Tio personer deltog, varav åtta män och två kvinnor i enskilda semistrukturerade intervjuer.

Materialen som undersöks är trä, sten, metall, hud, hår/fjädrar och tyg. De presenteras i programmet Marmoset Toolbag och idén är att bryta ner dem till de minsta beståndsdelarna som behövs av ett material utan att förlora känslan av det materialet.

Föreliggande studie handlar om språkstimulans genom den fysiska miljön i form av miljöns utformning, tillgänglighet av material samt vilka val barnen gör i relation till dessa faktorer. I vår studie har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ forskningsansats där vi observerat två förskolor med barn mellan tre till fem år. När en miljö erbjuder en variation av material fann barnen ett intresse kring leken och en kommunikation uppstod, medan en miljö som innehöll mindre material gjorde barnen rastlösa. .

Elever i den svenska grundskolan blir allt sämre på matematik enligt den senaste PISA undersökningen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att besvara om användandet av laborativt material inom matematikundervisningen i grundskolan förbättrar elevernas matematikkunskaper och vad som påverkar användandet av laborativt material.Denna kvalitativa litteraturstudie är baserad på nio tidigare studier. Den visar att användning av laborativt material i undervisningen bidrar till att öka grundskolelevers matematikkunskaper. Flera faktorer påverkar resultatet och hur materialet används, lärarens uppfattning om laborativt material, kombinationen av tydliga instruktioner till eleverna och ett bra anpassat laborativt material för respektive matematikproblem samt lärarens egen kompetens att använda sig av materialet i undervisningen..

This work is an experimental study where knock sensor placements are investigated using engine tests. The aim is to studythe quality of the signal from knock sensors and how the signal for engine control is affected at different sensor locations on Scanias, engine DC13. To find out at witch position on the engine youcan get a usable signal for engine control, the engine is running while the knock sensors with advanced measurement equipment is connected to the engine. Evaluation of signals from the knock sensors are made in the computer program Matlab. The program is producing a seriesof plots, from these plots it is visually possible to draw conclusions and find connections.

This study is based on an inductive approach where the collected empirical data has been categorized in themes on which we have based the discussion in this paper. The report aims to describe the austenitic stainless steel Sanicro 25 from a thermomechanical point of view. The thermal and mechanical properties of the material make it suitable for use in coal ? and thermal power plants. By the use of Sanicro 25 it would be possible to bring the efficiency of these plants up while bringing the carbon emissions down.A material model is created from material testing and validated through simulation in the finite element software Abaqus. The model that has been derived describes the material behavior during loading and stress relaxation for the first cycle in a thermomechanical fatigue test well.

The aim of this thesis is to study how librarians in six Swedish libraries perceive their occupational roles. How does the increased user control, which is seen as part of Library 2.0, affect the tasks of libraries and librarians? The material used in this study was acquired using a qualitative interview technique in which six librarians working in public libraries with experience of IT, mediation and purchase of literature partook.

There are nevertheless many different views on management control, which have changed with the times. With regard to the public sector in Sweden, the management control systems have changed radically the last half century, especially from the 1980s, due to depressions and increased focus on effectiveness. New approaches have been taken by many municipalities and county councils, both in Sweden and internationally, where the former management control systems have been abandoned in favour of result control, target costing, and activity-based-costing, for example. Another new approach has been the Balanced Scorecard, which was introduced by Kaplan & Norton in a pioneering article in 1992.The Balanced scorecard is a multidimensional tool, originally intended to be used in trade and industry, but with regard to its nature, it has been adopted even by many non-commercial organizations, especially in Sweden.
