This study has been conducted in order to try to clarify how one as a piano teacher, by the choice of teaching material and method of teaching, can influence the process of learning. The study deals with novice teaching and more specifically first semester teaching. I have studied three books, their methods and how they take on the task of introducing music and piano playing to novice students. I studied three groups of novice piano students during the autumn of 2005. For twelve lessons each class worked with one of the following three books: "Vi spelar piano 1" by Carl-Bertil Agnestig, "Pianogehör 1" by Åsa Söderqvist- Spering and "Spela piano med ADAM".

Vi har undersökt vilka delar inom matematiken som kan hjälpa eleverna att utveckla sin förståelse för %u201Dlång tid%u201D och tidslinjer. I analysen diskuteras resultaten utifrån utvecklingspsykologiskt perspektiv/strukturteori (Piaget), sociohistorisk/sociokulturell teori (Vygotskij) och konstruktivistisk teori (von Glasersfeld). Undersökningen har genomförts med två grupper elever i årskurserna 3-5 där vi har använt oss av intervjuer och undervisningsförsök för att få svar på våra frågor. Gruppernas resultat har analyserats och jämförts med varandra för att försöka hitta den matematik som har hjälpt eleverna att förstå tidslinjer och dess användningsområden, eller som vållat dem bekymmer. De matematiska delar som synliggjordes i undersökningen är bland annat proportionalitet, positionssystemet, stora tal och negativa tal.

I denna uppsats ställer jag mig frågan hur manlighet gestaltas och återges i de relationer som visas i musikvideor på MTV. Jag har som syfte att på ett så mångskiftande sätt som möjligt analysera och återge relevanta mönster bundet till frågeställningen. Valet av manligt perspektiv grundas utifrån en personlig uppfattning om att detta perspektiv kommer i skymundan i den allmänna diskussionen kring den mediala påverkan. Musik och musikvideor som medieform har genom dagens globalisering möjliggjort för ett stort antal människor en gemenskap och en samhörighet kring det musikaliska. Normer och värderingar kring exempelvis manlighet konstrueras och delges därmed i ett större sammanhang.

Syftet med detta arbete är att studera finansialiseringens spridning och kopplingen mellan processer och strukturer inom finansialiserings-teori och Human Resource Management (HRM). Detta genom att studera en organisation och dess HR-praktik i jämförelse med ovan nämnda teorier. De två teoretiska perspektiven används för att illustrera vilka konsekvenser som kan tydliggöras för arbetstagare och organisation. I studien undersöks en HR-verksamhet på den svenska arbetsmarknaden där det empiriska materialet består av kvalitativa intervjuer med representanter från organisationens HR-funktioner. Studien har ett abduktivt förhållningssätt där underlaget bygger på en teoretisk förförståelse samtidigt som en lägre grad av standardisering i intervjuerna används för att låta det studerade fältet styra den empiriska bilden.

My big interest in sports was what shaped my choice of subject for the essay. The purpose of this study has been to explore the social meaning of team sports for functionally impaired persons. In order to fulfil the purpose of the essay I formed following questions: How do the actives experience their participation in team sports? And how important is the social intercourse in team sports to the individual welfare? The methods I?ve used have been qualitative with an ethnographic approach. I have used participant observations and field interviews to gather my empirical material.

The advantage and the possibility of keeping track of a number of vehicles to make work practice more effective and smooth is today a favorable choice for Visual Units Logistics customers. We?ve been evaluating the software and trying to take it one step further and letting not only the individual user, but maybe, the company as a whole benefit from its advantages. This has been done by using methods like letting ourselves get to know the software, user case studies, workplace studies, interviews and future workshops. Men, det verkar inte finnas några studier som strävar efter att skapa en helhetsbild i syfte att beskriva och förklara företeelsen stora projekt. In order to produce grain in an economically rational manner numerous decisions have to be made. One of these decisions is what tillage system to use. The cost of the tillage system is a large part of the total cost in grain production. Different tillage systems result in different distribution of fixed costs, operating costs and timeliness costs. The price of the produced grain and cost of inputs also affect the best way to produce grain.

According to the theory of environmental Kuznets curve there is a relationship between carbon emissions and GDP. The relationship has an inverted U-shape. Carbon emissions rise initially and then decreases once a certain level of GDP is obtained.This essay interprets earlier studies in the field of environmental economics and uses public choice to seek answer on how the population acts on aggregate level. This essay analyses 115 countries in cross-sectional data. The analysis shows that there is a significant relationship between carbon dioxide emissions and GDP that is increasing at first and then decreases for a certain level of GDP.

Arbetet är en litteraturstudie över fyra olika teorier om klasser, nämligen Marx, Weber, Erikson och Goldthorpe samt Wrights teori om klasser. Teorierna beskrevs, jämfördes med varandra samt utvärderades utifrån deras förmåga att nå upp till den vetenskapsteoretiska läran falsifikationismens ideal. För att förklara materialet användes diskursanalys där avsikten var att se hur senare texter om klass byggde på tidigare ? d.v.s. diskursiva praktiker.
