Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur fakta konstrueras i situationer där det finns en stor risk att tappa ansiktet. Det sociala fenomenet ansikte studeras med hjälp av Erving Goffmans teori om ansiktsarbete och hans dramaturgiska perspektiv. Goffmans teori kombineras med Jonathan Potters diskursanalytiska teori om hur fakta konstrueras. Ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv tillämpas i studien. Den metod som används är Potters diskursanalytiska metod för analys av faktakonstruktion.

Uppsatsen syftar för det första till att applicera ekonomisk teori på patientskadeförsäkringssystem. Fyra viktiga teoretiska problem identifieras och analyseras: ansvarighetsproblemet, orsaksproblemet, informationsproblemet och ersättningsproblemet.För det andra är syftet att utifrån de teoretiska problemen beskriva patientskadeförsäkringssystemen i Sverige, Storbritannien och USA. Analysen avslutas med en jämförelse.Det tredje syftet är att diskutera och analysera möjliga förändringar i patientskadeförsäkringssystemen. Fokus ligger på systemens effektivitet.Policyimplikationerna som föreslås är för det första införandet av ett så kallat self-reportingsystem, som styr vårdgivarna att själva rapportera om skador.För det andra bör en slags självrisk utredas mer, och eventuellt få utrymme i patientskadeförsäkringssystemen.För det tredje föreslås en översyn av ersättningsnivåerna i patientskadeförsäkringssystemen, eftersom det är svårt att förklara dagens stora skillnader utifrån individers preferenser. Denna översyn bör ske med utgångspunkt från forskningen om betalningsviljan för ett QALY.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att belysa och bidra till förståelsen av individens upplevelse av separationsprocessen. Vi ville även undersöka om det fanns några könsskillnader när det gäller denna upplevelse. Vi har genomfört en intervjuundersökning med fyra kvinnor och fyra män. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna var Giddens teori om intimitet och modernitet, Beck och Beck- Gernsheims teori om individualisering samt Antonovskys teori KASAM. Intervjuerna har tolkats enligt hermeneutiska principer.

The aim of this study is to examine Swedish teachers? role and attitude in the Swedish subject towards motivation and reading fiction at upper secondary school. We are also interested in investigating whether or not there are any differences regarding the way teachers motivate students? depending on their choice of education or not. The method we chose in order to achieve this was interviews with teachers.

De grundläggande värdena för statsförvaltningen är demokrati, rättssäkerhet och effektivitet. I denna studie undersöks det hur rättssäkerhet och effektivitet förmedlas på Skatteverket, hur tjänstemännen på Skatteverket hanterar dessa krav och i vilka situationer det kan uppstå att tjänstemännen måste prioritera mellan dessa krav. I kapitlet den offentliga förvaltningen och tjänstemännen redogörs det för den teori och den tidigare forskning som använts i denna studie. Den teori som använts är Max Webers teori om byråkrati och tjänstemän. I den tidigare forskningen beskrivs det hur kraven på rättssäkerhet och effektivitet behandlas inom statsförvaltningen och det redogörs för två reformer som genomförts inom den offentliga förvaltningen de senaste årtionden.

This paper is a study of documentary film production with focus on the filmmakers choice and usage of sound equipment. Using professional articles and literature have first of all helped us determine a standard for the conventional use of sound equipment in documentary film. Afterwards, by analyzing our own interviews we?ve received answers on how filmmakers relate to the conventional usage and why they select equipment as they do. Thereafter, we describe a technical method which helps a filmmaker to be able to record sound for documentary film on his/her own, using simple measures without reducing quality.

More than 90 % of all business activity in the world market consists of small and midsized companies today. Recent studies have shown that there has been an increase in small companies? certification to ISO's management standards. Smaller organizations tend to have more limited amounts of resources at their disposal than larger ones. This can result in difficulties during the implementation process of ISO 9001.

The aim of this study is to investigate a specific form of Special Interest Tourism (SIT), namely health- and fitnesstravels. This kind of travelling is studied from a Swedish perspective and includes aspects like gender and age in active tourism. It also includes which travel motivations that lies beyond the choice of an active vacation.The study is based on a survey that was sent in an e-mail to the health tourism company InShapeTravel´s customers. The answers to the survey has been analyzed and related to earlier research about active tourism.The result shows that more women than men participate in the kind of healthy travels that InShapeTravel offers. A majority of the respondents are between 41-60 years old and the most common travel motivation was ?Better physic/psychic wellbeing?. .

Denna studie handlar om Gustav III:s dräktreform 1778. Reformen innebar att en enhetlig nationell dräkt infördes för adeln och borgarna. Dessutom infördes en nationell uniform. Uppsatsen behandlar reformen ur ett symboliskt perspektiv som utgår från Pierre Bourdieus teori om det symboliska kapitalet. Hans teori förklarar adelns och hovets åsikter om reformen. Studien ska också analysera hur uniformen m/1778 var influerad av den nationella dräkten. Metoden är litteraturstudier och teorin har sammanfattats från flera litterära källor.

Jag har gjort en diskursanalys utav tre läromedel i svenska avsedda för gymnasieskolans B-kurs.Analysens syfte är att se hur läromedlen i gymnasieskolans svenskundervisning tar upp utomvästerländska författare, såsom afrikanska, sydamerikanska och asiatiska författare, med utgångspunkt i postkolonial teori. Hur motiveras de utomvästerländska författarnas medverkan i läromedlen, huruvida upprätthålls den världsbild som har västerlandets överlägsenhet som utgångsläge i val av författare och verk?Min slutsats blir att läromedlen inte uppfyller de krav läroplanen ställer på dem när det gäller att lyfta in ett internationellt perspektiv i undervisningen. Jag anser även att det sätt, som läromedelsförfattarna många gånger tar upp utomvästerländska författare på, bidrar till att maktstrukturerna i samhället vidmakthålls..
