The transformation among armed forces in Europe is a consequence due to shifted security perspective and the growth of international security actors, such as NATO and the EU. Sweden has played an active role in EU to ensure its influence in forming the security policy for the organisation. Some studies mean it´s because of Sweden?s interest in strengthen EUs roll as a security actor they transformed their own armed forces to be able to take part in international operations. This transformation led to what can be called ?the Swedish defence dismantle? and some studies mean that it has led to the point where Sweden completely lacks the ability to defence themselves.The question is if the ambition to become an active member in these security organisations can explain all the decisions made throughout the Swedish defence-transformation, or if some decisions were made due to other factors?By studying the decision process leading up to the decision to locate the flight education to Malmen in Linköping this study seeks to answer why the decision was made.

Aktiv dödshjälp är bara tillåtet på fem platser världen över och debatten om dess vara eller icke vara går i vågor. I Sverige är dödshjälp olagligt, dock är palliativ sedering (nedsöv-ning för symptomlindring) tillåtet även om det leder till att livet förkortas.Denna studie syftar till att undersöka den process som ligger bakom skapandet av män-niskors inställning till dödshjälp. Tidigare forskning inom området har inriktat sig på statis-tiskt paradigm, vilket begränsar forskningsområden och resultat samt även debatten kring ämnet. I uppsatsen har forskningen delats in i fyra kategorier, för- och emot forskning, kom-parativ forskning, övrig jämförande forskning samt övrig forskning.Fem intervjuer genomfördes med analytisk induktion som urvalsgrund med syfte att varje intervjuperson skulle slå hål på den tidigares uttalanden. Analysen genomfördes med hjälp av grundad teori.

Uppsatsen utforskar människans psyke utifrån den franske psykoanalytikern och psykiatrikern Jacques Lacans psykoanalytiska teori. Uppsatsen undersöker subjektets förutsättningar och möjligheter utifrån lacansk teori, samt vilka implikationer det får på symptomets plats inom klinisk diagnostik. Metoden använder lacanskt teori som beskrivningar av subjektets status, vars framställning abstraheras till en rad regler. Teorins giltighet prövas i uppsatsen mot kliniska fallbeskrivningar och andra exempelfall. I diskussionen framkommer att implikationen av den lacanska teorin om subjektet är vittgående vad gäller kliniskt diagnostik och värderingen av symptomet. .

Syftet med denna studie är att genom intervjuer få en inblick i hur ungdomars identitet skapas i relation till deras omgivning. Studien förhåller sig till ett etnologiskt fältarbete där intervjuer med ungdomar i verksamheten "Fittja Pulsen" har genomförts. Frågeställningarna är anpassade till samtliga informanter och berör frågor om sambandet mellan identitetsskapandet och deras omgivning. De teoretiska utgångspunkter som användes i denna studie är Erik H Eriksonoch Erving Goffmans teori om identitet, Elias Norbert och John Scottsons teori om etablerade och outsiders samt Telemans teori om språk. Genom användning av dessa teorier vid analysen av det empiriska datamaterialet visar vi att våra informanters omgivning spelar roll för deras identitetsskapande.

Problem formulation? Are there any factors affecting the choice of marketing strategy?? What is it that determines the degree for the company to use a standardized or a adapt marketing strategy?? How profitable is Scania's marketing strategy in each country?Objective: The overall aim of this study is based on local adaptation and global standardization to compare the degree to which the company Scania chooses to adapt or standardize its marketing to the South American and Asian markets.We also aim to compare and describe any factors that affect the countries' differences in marketing strategies and to evaluate and measure the profitability of marketing strategies in each market.Methodology: The study is limited to Scania's marketing in the truck market in Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia and Singapore from 2006 to 2010. In order to answer the study's problem formulation and purpose we have chosen to combine a qualitative and quantitative approach. Four interviews were conducted with marketing executives from Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia / Singapore and Sweden. We have also chosen to examine Scania's annual report and include figures on the market shares of Scania in the respective countries and the number of sold Scania truck which is then compared against the number of registered vehicles by country.

SammanfattningSyftet med denna uppsats har varit, att undersöka vad som enligt deltagarna har varit det mest betydelsefulla innehållet i KrAmi-programmet. För att få fram det relevanta i klienternas upplevelser av vad som varit verksamt i KrAmi valde vi att använda oss av Grundad teori. Valet av Grundad teori föll sig naturligt då vi inte ville använda oss av hypoteser eller frågeställningar i studiens inledande skede, då dessa kan anses styra datainsamlingen. Genom tio kvalitativa intervjuer med deltagare har de tre beståndsdelarna stöd, motivation och gör sitt jobb framträtt som de mest centrala för att uppnå ett lyckat resultat. Med dessa tre begrepp har vi valt att knyta an till det sociologiska begreppet KASAM, det vill säga känsla av sammanhang.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate and assess, with Clausewitz?s theory as thebackground, how different military theorists interpret and relate to the nature of war.This essay illustrates the state of research into Clausewitz?s philosophical influences.Clausewitz?s theory of the nature of war is subjected to a qualitative text analysis that is followedby a critique of other military theorists interpretations of his theory. Subsequently a descriptive,comparative qualitative text analysis is performed where the factors identified by Clausewitz asbeing part of the nature of war (?rational thought?, ?passion? and ?chance?) are used as a meansto interpret and assess how other military theorists relate to Clausewitz theory. This essay ismainly founded on analysis of the works of Jomini, Delbrück, Fuller, Liddell Hart, Handel,Roxborough, van Creveld and Keegan.

Aim: Auditors objectivity is an obvious part of auditing, but there is doubts and hesitation in society today because of the corporate scandals that have occurred in recent years. Several researchers suggest that auditors actions and behaviors is connected to the ethical climate within the organization. A relationship that also affects auditors objectivity and independence. This thesis aims to investigate how the ethical climate influence auditors choice of relationship to their clients, by choosing a relational and close relationship or a transactional and distanced relationship. And if the client approach have an effect on the auditors objectivity.Method: A survey was conducted among 232 certified accountants in Sweden.

The means to political participation at the local level in Sweden are changing and this change is analyzed through a case study. The first aim is to explore the forms of public political participation in Swedish municipal Älvkarleby, namely public question time in local government, citizen motions and open meetings. A part of this is also to analyze he every day contact between citizens and representatives. The second aim concerns the reasons why politicians decide to support these means to participationThe empirical material consists mainly of semi structured interviews with local politicians, civil servants, participating citizens and local press. Official documents such as public minutes are also used in the process of creating an image of local participation.Local political participation is found to be limited but yet having the potential to strengthen democracy, provided that public decision-makers are open to a dialogue with the participants.Using Kjell Arne Røvik's theories of organisational change, the changes in local democracy can be explained as being partly rational, partly symbolic and partly identity shaping political decisions..

Syftet med vår uppsats var att få en djupare insikt i och kunskap om hur de människor som arbetar med försäkringsärenden på Försäkringskassan upplever och ser på sitt arbete. Våra frågeställningar söker svaret på hur handläggarna uppfattar sina möjligheter till egna initiativ i handläggningsarbetet. För att få svar på dessa frågor från ett ?inifrånperspektiv? har vi valt att hämta empirin från en fokusgruppintervju med fyra tjänstemän som arbetar med handläggning på en Försäkringskassa i Mellansverige. Vårt teoretiska utgångsläge var Johan Asplunds teori om den sociala responsiviteten och Roine Johanssons teori om organisatoriska begränsningar i kundrelaterat arbete.

The aim of this study was to describe how retired nurses, educated in Uppsala, and students at Uppsala University's nursing program experience the importance of vocation in education and career choice. None of the participants had experienced vocation as a reason for choosing nursing as a career. The main reason was instead a desire to work with people. They also expressed that it was a profession like any other. The retired nurses said that the education was something of an up-bringing with religious elements.

Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka förskollärarnas syn på begreppet jämställdhet, hur de arbetar med det i praktiken och om det är svårt att omvandla teori till praktik. Metoden som använts är halvstrukturerade intervjuer. Fem förskollärare intervjuades, fyra kvinnor och en man i olika åldrar och med olika lång erfarenhet inom yrket. Arbetet grundas på forskning inom jämställdhet i förskolan. Resultatet visade att jämställdhet för förskollärarna betydde att ge alla barnen samma möjligheter. Förskollärarna såg på begreppet jämställdhet som allas rätt att utvecklas och utmanas oavsett kön, detta låg också till grunden för hur de arbetar med jämställdhet i verksamheten. Tre av fem förskollärare tyckte det var lätt att omvandla teori till praktik, de pekade då på vikten av ett bra arbetslag.

The main purpose of this study is to examine celebrity candidates in the European Parliament election in Sweden and Finland. The theoretical background assumes that candidate voting is beneficial in the election to the European Parliament. Previous research also shows that there are some opponents towards candidate voting, claiming it personalizes politics and it might lead to celebrities getting elected simply because they are well known to the voters.This study is a comparative analysis and analyzes the differences between Sweden and Finland when it comes to celebrity candidates. Furthermore, Max Weber?s theory on leadership will be used to categorize the celebrity candidates further.
