The aim of this study is to examine metaphors and what may be perceived as motif-circuits in Stig Dagerman?s play Den dödsdömde (The Man Condemned to Death) and the two short stories ?Den dödsdömde? (The Man Condemned to Death) and ?Mannen från Milesia? (The Man from Milesia). My intention is to discuss a single theme and identity-marks that unites all three works, using Paul Ricoeur?s The Rule of Metaphor (La mêtaphore vive) as well as the ?thematic critique? of Jean-Pierre Richard.What is metaphor for Ricoeur is for Richard themes (theme): an organizing principle, a sort of schedule around which a world is constituted. Hence, I find similarities between the motif-circuits, Ricoeur?s metaphor-theory and Richards?s themes.

McKenziemetoden är en undersöknings- och behandlingsform för rygg- och nackbesvär som har utvecklats av Robin McKenzie, sjukgymnast från Nya Zeeland. Syftet med studien var att undersöka i vilken utsträckning steg B- utbildade sjukgymnaster använder och upplever metoden. Vi var även intresserade av att utreda med vilka behandlingsformer metoden integreras samt orsaken till varför inte alla sjukgymnaster fullföljer utbildningen. Enkäter skickades ut till 110 steg B-utbildade sjukgymnaster. Resultatet visade att sjukgymnasterna använder sig mest av metoden vid såväl undersökning som behandling av lumbalcolumna.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att följa implementeringen av ett nytt svensk evidensbaserat program, SkolKomet, med fokus på lärarnas upplevelser av implementeringsprocessen på en skola. Metoden för detta är en kvalitativ, explorativ fallstudie. Triangulering sker genom intervjuer, observationer, dagboksanteckningar samt genom att vistas i den miljön som lärarna befinner sig i.Lärarnas uppfattningar är förankrade i teorier från implementationsforskningen, först i en analys för att få en fördjupad förståelse av detaljerna och sedan i en syntes, för att söka en helhet bestående av ett meningsfullt mönster.Mönstret som utkristalliserats utifrån lärarnas uppfattningar är att metoden SkolKomet är väl integrerad i skolans befintliga verksamhet, men att vissa farhågor kring implementeringen finns - främst avsaknaden av elever med problembeteende..

Safe retrieval of nutrients from human excreta to fertilize crops in order to gain adequate yields will increase food security and sustainability in agriculture areas with nutrient-poor fields. Safe and nutritious food will meet the dietary needs of the individual which promotes public health and the ability of an active life. Human excreta should be considered as a resource instead of being assumed as waste. Human faeces and urine is excellent fertilizers which may close the nutrient loop if utilized properly. However, sanitation of the excreta is required to prevent disease transmission by reducing the content of gastrointestinal pathogens such as bacteria, viruses and parasites. The objective of this study was to in small scale evaluate the sanitation in a combined liquid compost and urea treatment by monitor the inactivation of bacteria and viruses at the combination three start temperatures, 45, 40 and 35 °C, and three additions of urea, 0.5, 0.75 and 1 % and reference, 0 % urea addition.

Syftet med vårt arbete är att få en större inblick i vad utomhuspedagogik innebär. Vi ville ta reda på fördelar och nackdelar med metoden och hoppas därmed att vi som framtida pedagoger kan utveckla och förbättra arbetet med utomhuspedagogik. Hösten 2010 implementerades den på tre skolor i Uppland.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att utvärdera skolpersonalens upplevelse av implementeringen av den tobaksförebyggande metoden tobaksfri duo. Metod: Studien har en deskriptiv och explorativ design med fokusgrupper från två skolor med totalt sju deltagare.Resultat: Vid analys framkom tre kategorier: Tobaksfri duo - en signerad överenskommelse med delat ansvar, Betydelsefulla verktyg för att nå framgång i metoden, Ett tydligt och positivt engagemang kan göra skillnad i implementeringen. Skolpersonalen var positiva till den mångfacetterade metoden.

I den här uppsatsen har vi testat Målbilder, som är en av de metoder som tagits fram för att försöka minska antalet misslyckade IT-projekt. Vi valde att genomföra ett arbete med metoden för att sedan generera så mycket erfarenhet som möjligt. Dessa erfarenheter har vi haft som mål att de ska kunna hjälpa personer eller företag som själva inte har någon kunskap inom området för att använda metoden. Detta för att kunna stärka sin verksamhet utan att behöva ta in dyra konsulter för ett så grundläggande steg som att ta reda på vad det är man egentligen behöver.
