Fashion creates reactions. It is a type of art form that constantly needs to be updated. This is the thrilling part about fashion, but it is also the part that can create unintentional reactions.In this essay I will examine two garments that have achieved a great amount of media coverage, both in Sweden and abroad. One of them is a jumpsuit from H&M that was criticized because of the resemblance to the uniform worn by the Peshmerga-soldiers in Kurdistan. The other garment is a children?s sweater launched by Zara.

Denna uppsats behandlar ledarskap och organisationsförändring. I rapporten undersöks hur fyra chefer har handskats med de svårigheter och utmaningar som uppstått då organisationen de verkar i ska driva igenom förändringsprojekt. De undersökta organisationerna är Försvarsmakten Visby garnison, Scania AB Falun, Apoteket AB och Nacka kommun. I de två förstnämnda består förändringsprocessen av mer eller mindre total avveckling och i de andra två rör det sig om omfattande förändringar i struktur eller arbetssätt. Undersökningen är baserad på djupintervjuer med dessa chefer och svaren har analyserats utifrån existerande modeller för förändring.

GPS används idag för personlig navigering men dessvärre är GPS beroende av fri sikt och presterar sämre i en inomhusmiljö. Ett IPS, inomhuspositioneringssystem, skulle komplet-tera GPS:ens funktion samt öppna dörrar för nya användningsområden inom positionering. I detta examensarbete studerades metoder och tekniker för att möjliggöra ett IPS för en mo-bil enhet. Där teknikerna och metoderna verifieras för att kunna implementeras i en mobil-telefon.En prototyp för ett IPS framställdes för att utreda möjligheterna att navigera i en inomhus-miljö. En radiofingeravtrycksmetod baserat på RSSI-mätningar från Bluetooth-enheter im-plementerades och integrerades med en dödräkningsmetod som använder en IMU för att positionera användaren.

Changes in the labour market combined with an increased media coverage of managers, have resulted in the rise of a new human due diligence industry. The use of background checks has lately become increasingly popular on the Swedish market and many companies use it as an evaluation tool when recruiting. This study investigates differences in the background screening procedure for recruitment to executive management positions and lower level positions. It also aims to answer why background checks are conducted, using a cultural and a functional perspective. The report takes an abductive approach and data has primarily been gathered through a survey directed to large Swedish companies.

It is not a well confined biotope but consist of a semi-open landscapewith a complex pattern and wide variation of tree and shrub coverage. The values in thewooded pastures have been created through a long history of management.One major threat to wooded pastures is ceasing management. Yearly and intensive grazinghas been demanded for several years in order to receive economical support. At the sametime trees and bushes have often been regarded as vegetal invasion.

Man kommunicerar med en rad olika målgrupper, varav en av de viktigaste externa målgrupperna är journalister inom radio, tv och dagspress. Sammanfattningsvis ställer detta mycket stora krav på kommunikationsarbetet och det gäller därför att optimera sin publicitet.Under hösten planerar Lunds universitet att utveckla sin presskommunikation och vårt uppdrag är ett led i detta utvecklingsarbete. Wireless sensor networks have the potential for becoming a huge market. Ericsson predicts 50 billion devices interconnected to the Internet by the year 2020. Before that, the devices must be made to be able to withstand years of usage without having to change power source as that would be too costly. These devices are typically small, inexpensive and severally resource constrained. Communication is mainly wireless, and the wireless transceiver on the node is typically the most power hungry component.

This paper is a comparing study of the retrieval effectiveness of the search engines Google, Google Scholar and Scirus. The aim is to find out how good they are at retrieving relevant academic material in the research-field of Library and Information science. The thirty search questions where based on actual information needs collected from exams within the field of Library and Information Science. This method was used to prevent that none of the search engines were given an advantage because of construction of the information needs. The first twenty retrieved documents on the retrieval lists are examined for academic content and relevance.

Researchers in the field of political corruption generally expect voters in democratic states to lose trust in corrupted politicians. However, there are cases where corrupted politicians maintain their popularity, a phenomenon studied in this thesis. Focus lies on three cases of political corruption: the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi who has been the subject of several judicial investigations and court cases; the impeached former president of Lithuania, Rolandas Paksas; and the German Christian Democratic Union's (CDU) involvement in a party funding scandal. The cases are chosen based on the method of agreement. Berlusconi, Paksas and CDU have all, in spite of their corrupt behaviour, kept or regained popular support among a large group of their country's citizens.

Medierna och miljöorganisationerna har en viktig roll i kommunikationen av miljöproblem. Därför är det intressant att undersöka hur kommunikationen ser ut från en miljöorganisations sida.Syfte: Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka vad Naturskyddsföreningen har för huvudsakliga budskap i sina kampanjfilmer för att öka förståelsen hos människor.Metod: I denna studie tillämpas den kvalitativa metoden kritisk diskursanalys.Teori: De teorier som undersökningen bygger på är kommunikationsteori, diskursteori, retorik samt visuell kommunikation.Slutsats: Utifrån de resultat vi fått fram genom vår analys kan vi urskiljatvå huvudsakliga budskap i Naturskyddsföreningenskampanjfilmer vilka är miljö och hälsa. Inom dessa budskapanvänder de sig av argument på både lokal och global nivå. Vihar i denna studie även kunnat titta på vilka retoriska ochvisuella redskap som använts.Naturskyddsföreningen.
