Swedish municipals schools have been given an assignment to convey basic values to pupils. The assignment is to bring up the pupils through transmitting and developing a heritage such as values, traditions, language and knowledge. Together along with the lasting knowledge which constitutes the community frame of reference everybody needs. There by is the purpose of this study through a qualitative method to investigate how the schools assignment to create a community national identity of the pupils is interpreted by the teachers in introduction classes. Even how the teachers in this study response to ?Swedish? culture by presenting and educate the pupils in this.

The aim of this study is to examine if library and archive will meet professionally in digitization projects. The study has been conducted as a discourse analysis in accordance with the methods of Norman Fairclough, professor of Linguistics at Lancaster University. The texts are seen as linguistic and semiotic elements of social events that can be analyzed as parts of the social process ? discourse. The relationship between events and structures in society will be part of the social practice.The basic data derive from five public documents collected from Swedish government agencies.

The main discussion in this essay concern what the Emerging Church is, its sociological and theological context, their main critique of modernism and the consequences in theology and praxis. EC is not a new church but wants to be a new way of being church. In England much of the discussion concerning EC has found a context within the report Mission-Shaped Church (MSC). EC differs from Emergent Village which is a continuing discussion from a postmodern philosophical view.EC is born in an evangelical context with the tensions in the postmodern context, the liminal situation with among other items the disussion about a liquid culture and liquid church. Other backgroundfactors are the ChurchGrowth-movement, Willow Creek and the Gospel and Our Culture.EC critisizes its evangelical background and moves the center from justification to incarnation, from propostionalism, individualism, mission and activism to a theology of incarnational community life.Four different proponents are considered; Brian Mclaren, Dan Kimball, Karen Ward and Ben Edson.

Studien är genomförd på Ingseredsstiftelsen, vilken finns i Stadsmissionens regi sedan 1988. Ingseredsstiftelsen är ett boende för missbrukare och personer med psykisk ohälsa och tar emot män och kvinnor mellan 20-65 år. Man kan få en plats på boendet genom Lagen om rättspsykiatrisk vård (LRV), Lagen om psykiatrisk tvångsvård (LPT), Lagen om vård av unga (LVU), Lagen om vård av missbrukare (LVM) och Socialtjänstlagen (SoL). Fem av de anställda på boendet arbetar som kontaktpersoner vilka har som huvuduppgifter att följa socialsekreterarens arbetsplan och att göra en genomförandeplan utifrån denna. De ska också ta kontakt med olika myndigheter, hitta anhöriga men också se till att de boendes självförtroende ökar.Studien är kvalitativ och består av totalt åtta intervjuer med boende och personal samt två deltagande observationer.

Jag har genomfört en undersökning av två ungdomsromaner, Det händer nu och Regn och åska, där huvudtemat är icke-heterosexuell kärlek. Min metod kommer från den systematiska funktionella grammatiken, och jag har valt att undersöka processer och presuppositioner. I processanalysen tittade jag på de kapitel där personerna interagerar sexuellt och/eller för relationen framåt, och då på de processer där någon av dem alternativt båda är förstadeltagare. När någon av dem, båda eller fragment av dem är andradeltagare har jag även tagit med andradeltagarna i resultatet för att se om de utsätter varandra för olika handlingar. I analysen av presuppositionerna har jag tittat på de presuppositioner som säger något om inställningen till huvudpersonen och dess partners kärleksrelation.

The right wing party the Sweden Democrats is through their conservative and nationalist approach and socio-political heritage, connected to various extreme-right populist movements, which have all been in conflict with different branches of feminism. This connection is argued for in relation to the research survey. The party has likewise been accused of pursuing misogynistic, homophobic and racist politics, but differ from its ideological peers due to their outspoken equality policy. The party shows strong rejection of discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation or geographical, religious or ethnical background. In the analysis chapter of this study, texts produced by members of the party are analyzed by means of parts of Karlberg and Mral?s rhetoric analysis method, aiming to clarify what ideals of family and the roles within it are being constructed.

People have used forest resources in northern Sweden for different purposes. Before the 20th century the forest was used for many different reasons, but during the past 200 years it has become an industrial raw material. The presence of people in the forest has left different kinds of traces in the forests. One example is culturally modified trees (CMT´s). The aim of this study was to study and document how people have used the forest resources during the last centuries in Brännlidens nature reserve, and what kind of traces this land use has left.

I uppsatsen undersöker jag ur ett queerteoretiskt perspektiv, och med diskursanalys och dekonstruktion som metoder, heteronormativitet i skönlitterära bilderböcker. Analysen stödjer sig dels på Michel Foucaults samt Ernesto Laclaus och Chantal Mouffes diskursteorier, dels på Judith Butlers beskrivningar av samhällets heterosexuella matris och identitet som en performativ processuell konstruktion. Jag undersöker om och på vilka sätt heterosexualitet framställs som given sexuell identitet i de mest lånade bilderböckerna på Stockholms stadsbibliotek de senaste åren och i ett urval böcker som skildrar hur familjer får barn. Det innefattar granskning av såväl vilka relationer som representeras i böckerna som vilka subjektspositioner som böckerna erbjuder läsaren. Har läsaren möjlighet att identifiera sig med litterära figurer utan att först ta ställning till kön, undrar jag.

The purpose of this paper is to carry out a domain analysis of Section for Maps and Pictures at Uppsala University?s Library and investigate its business, collection and knowledge organization. Birger Hjørland?s socio-epistemological domain analytic paradigm is applied. As methods, Hjørland suggests eleven approaches, and from them he emphasizes especially the importance of the historical and epistemological approaches.In this paper three questions are analysed.

Cultural heritages are environments created by humans that are considered to have a conservation value for the posterity. They can be seen as one of society's non renewable resources. It is important to have knowledge of how cultural heritages are affected by future climate changes.The water flow in Uppsala is estimated to increase during winter and decrease during spring and summer. Precipitation will gradually increase as well as the intense short period precipitation. The average temperature is estimated to increase as well.

"One life in two worlds" is a qualitative study of Syriac boys constructs ethnic and religious identity in different social contexts.Based on these three questions: how do the boys describe the importance of the parents' cultural and religious background in relation to their own identity? How do the boys describe their experiences of being categorized in school? Which significance is given to religion and ethnicity when the boys describe their experiences in relation to home and school context?I did reach the aim of this essay which was to investigate by interviewing the Syrian boys how they construct or reconstruct ethnic and / or religious identity in relation to different social contexts with a focus on the home and the school.In this study, I assumed the qualitative method in which I interviewed six Syriac boys who attend grade nine. The starting point of the study was social constructivism. Therefore, knowledge in this study is seen as something that is constructed in language, social and cultural interactions. The reality and perspective of reality is socially constructed, meaning that knowledge is created through the interplay of common action.The results of this study show that all the informants are agreed that their parents' ethnic background has had and has great significance for their identity formation.

Föreliggande uppsats är en genusinriktad och diskursanalytisk studie som undersöker det nya läromedlet Perspektiv på historien 1b, (2011), som utkommit i samband med de nya kursplanerna i historia och läromedlet är specifikt gjord för kursen historia 1b. I studien analyseras om nämnda läromedel har ett genusperspektiv och om den nya kursplanen förespråkar ett sådant. Diskursanalysen som används utgår från Winther Jørgensen och Philips, diskursteori i Diskursana-lys som teori och metod, (2000). Jag har också kombinerat denna diskursteori beträffande metod med en så kallad genustrappa, som utgår från den Edwertz och Lundström själva komponerat i deras studie, Jämställdhets- och genusperspektiv i kurslitteraturen, (2003). The theory that concepts that are interpreted subjectively in building care creates problems in how the concepts are defined in practice within the current governing documents and guidelines for building care. This essay has studied concepts in the building maintenance literature to investigate whether there is consensus in compliance practice within the building process. In the study, 9 concepts have been investigated through conversational interviews and questionnaires answered by practitioners with extensive experience in building care processes. In the survey, an attempt is made, to measure how big or small the consensus is between practitioners who often need to collaborate within the building maintenance process. The investigation shows that existence of the concepts in building maintenance is very common in the theoretical literature examined but is almost completely absent in the craft area. Since laws, regulations, principles, and guidelines have defined concepts to support the decisions in the building maintenance process, it can be concluded that there is a lack of practice for compliance.

Sweden has formulated ambitious energy goals which signify that by year 2050 the energy usage should be halved. One of the objectives is the reduction of energy usage by 20% by year 2020 and that it should be compared to the usage of energy from 1995. In parallel with increased energy requirements for buildings the demand on housing conservation, by highlighting also buildings from the last 50 years as part of the building heritage, continues to enhance, which in theory means that there is a conflict between these.The law will never be able to point out unique buildings and PBL (planning and building act) is not especially concrete. The National Housing Board has tried to make this more concrete by the new BBR regulations though there are still an enormous variety of interpretations.This report deals with the conflict between conservation requirements and additional insulation of the building envelope and is limited to multi-residential buildings built between the years 1945 and 1975. It is the stock with the greatest energy consumption and that is where the big challenge lies.
