This thesis analyzes how homonationalist and heteroactivist discourses are reproduced in the Sweden Democrats political communication between 2022 and 2025. Drawing on critical discourse analysis, the study examines a selection of key texts, including two Almedalen speeches by the party leader Jimmie ?kesson (2022, 2024), an extraction from a report produced by the party, and a parliamentary motion. The study is theoretically grounded in scholarship on homonationalism, heteroaktivism and populist radical right nationalism. It investigates how gender, sexuality and religion are discursively mobilized to define national belonging and construct boundaries between ?us? and ?the other?.

Efter att ha tagit del av tidigare undersökningar på hur sexualitet gestaltas i både undervisning och läromedel inom och utanför Sverige, genomförde jag en pilotstudie på ett tidigt stadium. Pilotstudiens syfte var att studera hur sexualitet gestaltades i en lärobok på den svenska gymnasieskolan inom ämnet religionskunskap. Pilotstudien bekräftade den tidigare forskningen på området gällande hur sexualitet gestaltas i läromedel. Det handlade om att sexualitet ofta beskrivs utifrån heteronormativa föreställningar.Det medförde att jag valde att utgå från queerteorins heteronormativitet i undersökningen av hur sexualitet gestaltas i läroböcker i religionskunskap för gymnasieskolan. I den här undersökningen har jag kunnat fastslå att tre utvalda läroböcker i religionskunskap skrivna utifrån den senaste läroplanen, Gy11 (Svenska gymnasieskolans läroplan), fortfarande beskriver sexualitet utifrån heterosexuella föreställningar.Pilotstudien och resultatet från den här undersökningen visade att läroböcker framställer sexualitet utifrån heteronormativa föreställningar.

Title: The social relation between student & teacher in individual music education. The aim of this study is to examine the relevance of the social relation between teacher and student in instrumental tuition in non-compulsory music education. The method I have used is qualitative interview inspired by phenomenology. I have made interviews with four persons who have experienced individual singing/instrumental studies on several different levels. In this paper I wish to shed light on what people who have experienced many years of singing/instrumental studies are telling about the social relation to their former pedagogues.

För individer med parodontal sjukdom är egenvården betydelsefull för en bättre prognos. Förebyggande åtgärder kan behöva ses i ett större sammanhang om det ska vara möjligt att främja tandhälsa eller förhindra fortsatt tandsjukdom. En insikt i patientens upplevelser och syn på sin förbättrade egenvård kan vara värdefull för att bättre förstå vad som behöver hända för att det ska ske en förflyttning mot en bättre hälsa. Syftet var att beskriva innebörden av ett upplevt förbättrat munhälso¬relaterat beteende sett utifrån ett patientperspektiv. Studiepopulation & metod: Deskriptiv fenomenologisk metod (Giorgi) valdes för insamling och analys av data.

The motivation for this thesis lies in the knowledge that there is a crucial information need amongst LGBTQ-persons wanting to read fiction related to LGBTQ in order to strengthen their own identity. This particular information need regarding identification has been said to be more central within LGBTQ-communities than within other user groups, largely because they represent a marginalized group in society. Critical feminists, such as Hope A. Olson, have proved that knowledge organization based on systems of subject representation in fact may lead to further marginalization and exclusion of already marginalized groups. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to compare subject representation and social tagging as methods of organizing LGBTQ-fiction.

This paper examines pupils? conception of the Swedish schools constitutive values expressed in the Swedish curriculum. The main question was, at to what extent the schools constitutive values have influenced the pupils conception of their own values. That question problematizes the relation between values, constructed and carried by central administration, and their interpretation at local level by pupils. The study was conducted with qualitative analysis which included qualitative interviews with seven pupils in the last year of the Swedish school system.

The purpose of this thesis has been to explore in what ways Franz Kafka?s ?The Metamorphosis? can be read as a story of gender. By bringing together Judith Butler?s theory of materialization and Lennard J. Davis?s crip theory I have spoken of Dismodernity as the domain of abject bodies that have been repudiated by (post)modern societies as untintelligible and dysfunctional.

Den här studien är en kritisk granskning av programserien Sexinspektörerna som sändes i sex avsnitt på TV4 våren 2007. I Sexinspektörerna får heterosexuella par hjälp med sitt sex- och samliv av två experter på området. Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka hur programmet skapar och återskapar heteronormativitet och på så sätt hur femininitet(er) och maskulinitet(er) uttrycks inom den heterosexuella parrelationen. Uppsatsen utgår ifrån ett queerteoretiskt perspektiv och den heterosexuella matrisen utifrån Judith Butler. Genom att välja kritisk diskursanalys som metod har vi kunnat analysera så väl det som sägs i programmet som de bilder som visas och på så sätt tillföra ytterliggare en dimension till analysen.

Studien granskar lärares förhållanden till genus- och heteronormer genom att titta på hur de i undervisning arbetar med normerna men också den inställning och kunskap de har, utifrån deras egna utsagor. Som teoretiskt ramverket kommer Bourdieu att ligga till grund och begreppen habitus och symboliskt kapital används för att analysera lärarnas arbete och inställning. Queer- och genusteorier ligger till grund för hela arbetet och frågeställningarna, därav spelar teorierna en betydande roll i studien. Undersökningen görs med observationer och interjuver för att kunna ge information om hur det är i skolan. Dessa intervjuer och observationer analyserades kvalitativt med de teorier jag tidigare nämnt.

Uppsatsen syftar till att identifiera och ringa in rådande normer kring sexualitet och hur asexualitet förhåller sig till dessa. Vi har utfört kvalitativa intervjuer via mail, med individer som identifierar sig med asexualitet. Dessa intervjuer har vi analyserat för att urskilja vad diskurser kring sexualitet och asexualitet innehåller och hur de förhåller sig till varandra. Våra huvudsakliga frågeställningar är: ? Hur definieras asexualitet av respondenterna?? Vad upplever respondenterna för reaktioner från omgivningen?? Hur upplever respondenterna samhällets attityder till sexualitet och asexualitet?? Hur kan dessa definitioner och upplevelser förstås utifrån en teoretisk referensram?För att analysera empirin har vi valt ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv och ett queert förhållningssätt.

My main purpose with this paper of John Steinbecks Of mice and men is to both analyze the long-lived structures and the unique individual destinies of the novel. I employ the method of the historical Annales-movement and use three divided levels in my analysis to try to capture these high structures and low moments of humanity in Structure, Konjuncture and the Individuality. The first level, Structure, is used to see how long-lived almost invisible geographic structures set the human act of condition. The second level, Konjuncture, is easier to grasp in understanding of time and embraces for example economic structures as the industrialism. The last level of Individuality is the fastest in time and easiest to understand but in the long run also the least important.

The main focus of this master?s thesis concerns the relation between subject representation, power and gender. Classification systems and subject heading lists are products of their cultural and social context and some subjects and disciplines are given a greater value than others. Our aim in this thesis is twofold; to discuss and critically analyse the prevailing gender norms that are expressed trough classification systems and subject heading lists and to examine how they manage to represent gender studies as a multidisciplinary subject in theory as well as in practice. We are also discussing the particular problems with the representation of multidisciplinary subjects in general.

The public libraries in Sweden has an obligation to serve all of its citizens, but despite of this they often fail to include their LGBTQ-patrons. Since the year of 2008 RFSL (the Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights) have arranged a specially designed certification-process based on normcritical criterias that a chosen institution should fulfill to make their work more inclusive for LGBTQ-people. Sollentuna is the first municipal in Sweden to certificate all of their libraries. This study aims to examine what the certification have meant for the public library in Sollentuna and how a normcritical view can contribute to include LGBTQ-patrons at the library. As a method we used a qualitative interview-study to get a full picture of the certification-process and its influence on the public library of Sollentuna.

Title: Experiences of physical activity in a flat country Regular physical activity provides many chronic diseases and is an important contributor to health promotion. According to Swedish goals for public health, community planning ought to provide opportunities for exercise in all groups of the population and exercise in daily life should be uncomplicated, even in rural areas. The purpose of this study was to explore how individuals living in a flat country experienced their opportunities for exercise on a regular basis. Four semi-structured interviews were carried out with a phenomenological approach and for the analysis a phenomenological-hermeneutic method was used, resulting in two main themes and nine sub themes. The first main theme ?The reciprocal relation between physical activity and the landscape? showed that the informants experienced that they had good opportunities in the landscape for physical activity, it was easy to exercise on a regular basis, provided there was motivation.
