Bakgrund: Under 90-talet har stark kritik riktats mot budgeten som styrinstrument. Kritiken gäller bland annat att budgeten inte kan hantera en föränderlig omvärld och det finns de som anser att den därför bör avskaffas helt. Kritiken står dock inte oemotsagd då vissa anser att det inte är budgeten som sådan som är problemet utan istället sättet som den används på. Syfte: Vårt syfte med denna undersökning är att beskriva och förklara budgetens utbredning och dess roll i ekonomistyrningen samt beskriva hur budgetprocessen går till. Vi har även för avsikt att beskriva hur styrning sker i företag som ej använder budget.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och analysera hur ekonomistyrningen är utformad inom revisionsföretag. Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ fallstudie av tre revisionsföretag och vi har använt oss av en abduktiv metod. Empirin består av material inhämtat från företagens hemsidor och intervjuer med respektive företag. Teorin är hämtad ur facklitteratur och artiklar som behandlar ekonomistyrning på ett sätt som vi anser är relevant för vår undersökning. I vår undersökning har vi kommit fram till att våra fallföretag har börjat arbeta i riktning mot en modern verksamhetsstyrning, men att traditionella idéer fortfarande har stort inflytande på företagens ekonomistyrning.

Problematiken för vår undersökning grundar sig i den nya skollagen som trädde i kraft i juli 2011. Där står det reglerat att kommunen är ansvarig för alla elever i en kommun. Då det nu råder fritt skolval enligt den nya skollagen, kan elever och dess vårdnadshavare själva välja vilken grundskola de vill gå på. Eleverna kan antingen välja en kommunal grundskola eller en friskola och därmed blir planeringen och budgeteringen av elevantalet osäker för kommunerna då de inte vet hur många elever som kommer att gå i de olika skolorna.Vårt syfte med denna undersökning är att skapa förståelse för och en fördjupad kunskap om hur skolförvaltningen inom kommunen går tillväga för att planera och budgetera osäkerhet och om budgetarbetet har påverkats av det fria skolvalet och friskolorna. Undersökningen baseras på en kvalitativ metod med tre intervjuer av ekonomer på skolförvaltningen i tre kommuner; Helsingborgs stad, Lunds kommun och Kristianstads kommun.Utifrån det empiriska materialet har det framkommit att ledorden i budgetarbetet är; planering, kommunikation och kontroll.

This essay concerns sponsorship of libraries within Sweden. It takes its starting-point in the libraries economical situation where resources are decreasing. The main purpose of the essay is to investigate how sponsorship is used in public libraries. The main questions are:o Why are sponsorships appealing to libraries? o What does the processes of sponsoring look like? o What are the possible risks concerning sponsor-ships ? could it endanger libraries democratic role? o How does library staff reflect on the role of libraries in contemporary society? In our study we chose to investigate the sponsorship issue from the sponsored libraries perspective.

Bakgrund och problem: Alla företag behöver en stark ekonomistyrning för att kunna konkurrera ute på marknaden. Ekonomistyrning innebär att företag kan planera, följa upp och utvärdera olika rapporter. För att kunna göra detta behövs styrmedel som budget som innebär en ekonomisk handlingsplan som ska styra företaget mot ett visst mål. Senaste tiden har budgetens att vara eller icke vara diskuterats aktivt. Utifrån den kunskapen vill vi undersöka budgetens betydelse för tillverkningsföretag samt öka vår förståelse för ämnet. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur tre företag i, inom tillverkningsbranschen i Småland arbetar med budgeten.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine how public libraries use socialmedia for marketing purposes, and what librarians think about this. My focus of this thesislies on what librarians think about marketing of libraries through social media and if theythink that marketing through social media can create a better relationship between the libraryand its users. The questions I wanted to answer were:? Libraries using social media, for what purpose do they use them? ? Do the libraries choose to use social media to market their organization? Why? ? What attitudes exist among librarians about marketing through social media?The theoretical framework for this thesis is Evert Gummessons model off Relationshipmarketing and the process of Internet marketing, which both are based on relationalperspective. The methodology used for this study was structured interviews.

This paper is a study of corporate governances in the municipal of Stockholm. The purpose of this paper is to enlighten the problems and opportunities for the corporate governances of the wards in the municipal of Stockholm. The municipal of Stockholm is made up of 18 relatively self-governing wards, whose activities bear a resemblance to one and other. Therefore we have specified our survey to corporate governances in the ward of Skarpnäck (Skarpnäcks stadsdel), to be able to use this ward as an example to corporate governances in the entire municipal of Stockholm. The essay emanates from the important management theories: Budget, Integrated Management system (ILS), Benchmarking and Balanced Scorecard.The essay is based on interviews and a poll survey we conducted in the administration of the ward of Skarpnäck, and also based on interviews with Stockholm?s city hall.

Poverty among children has received a great deal of attention in the media the past few years. The group in which poverty among children has increased most is among single parents; therefore we have chosen to examine this group in this study. The purpose of this study is to take part in single parents and their children?s experiences of living within a very tight budget and the strategies they use. We found it interesting to put this information in relationship to the consumer society we live in today.

The purpose of this study is to examine young people?s opinions about libraries using social media for communicative and marketing purposes. There are three research questions: What do young people think about libraries using social media for communicative and marketing purposes? Do they want to interact with libraries in social media and, if so, in what way? Are their opinions and their will to interact influenced by what kind of relationship they have with libraries, their reading habits, and whether or not they use libraries? digital services? Prior research is divided into three themes: library development, marketing, and young people. This dissertation discusses head librarians in Swedish public libraries and the stress factors which affect them. The aim is to map out potential stress factors which head librarians come across in their day-to-day work. The purpose of the dissertation is to answer the following question: what stress factors affect library managers in Swedish public libraries? The dissertation was conducted through a literature study, informal interviews and a quantitative questionnaire. The results of the quantitative questionnaires show that the factor that produces the highest level of stress is having too many different tasks.
