The right to freedom of conscience is protected by international conventions and declarations of human rights that have been ratified by Sweden. Nationally, the issue of health professionals? right to freedom of conscience in the abortion care is not resolved by public inquiry. This has led to that Sweden has been notified to the European Committee of Social Rights on the grounds that the country is considered to be violating the Council of  Europe Resolution 1763 and that the proper question to be determined by regulations of the interests that are balanced, based on their legal value in relation to each other. Freedoms, rights and obligations conflict with each other.

The aim of this thesis is to examine librarians' view on the knowledge and competence required at a small public library and how they look upon their education in retrospect. Library education in the 1970's and 1980's was mainly practical, a vocational training, but since 1995 the education results in an academic degree in Library & Information Science. Due to this, we focus on the ongoing generation shift in Swedish libraries as an aspect of knowledge and education. The empirical study is based on interviews with librarians working in minor public libraries. The informants form two groups, based on their education; ?old? ones and ?new? ones.

Män som drabbas av prostatacancer upplever att deras liv har förändrats på ett eller annat sätt efter diagnosen. Sjukdomens påföljder för männens dagliga liv, både de psykiska och fysiska blir en del av deras livsvärld. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa livsvärlden hos män med prostatacancer. Metod: Metoden som användes i denna studie var en kvalitativ litteraturstudie, baserad på vetenskapliga artiklar.

Diabetes är en sjukdom som ökar kraftigt runt om i världen och är vanlig även i Sverige. För att kunna bemästra sjukdomen måste den drabbade personen klara av att bedriva egenvård. Det är vårdpersonalens uppgift att lära ut egenvård och uppmuntra till detta men det yttersta ansvaret ligger hos personen med sjukdomen. Med studien vill författarna identifiera faktorer som kan påverka mötet mellan vårdare och personer med diabetes i deras egenvård. Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie.

Att drabbas av en ätstörningssjukdom får som konsekvens att personen förlorar sin sjukdomsinsikt, matsituationer, maten och vårdpersonalen blir till fiender. Kampen mot sjukdomen för att bli frisk är lång och mödisam. Vården för ätstörningspatienten varierar beroende på personens tillstånd och på vilken avdelning personen är inlagd. Syftet har varit att belysa kvinnor med ätstörningar och deras upplevelser av mötet med vårdpersonal. Studien har genomförts som litteraturstudie där resultatet bygger på skönlitterära självbiografier.

Aim Our aim is to highlight perceptions of fibromyalgia among health care personell.MethodsA systematic literature review conducted with a deductive approach.FindingsHealth care personell felt insecure because of a lack of understanding which lead to avoiding contact with these patients. Many felt that the fibromyalgia patient was categorised and that they would have been better served with another name of their disease. There was a great distrust against the diagnosis and its aetiology. The patient was perceived as troublesome, illness-fixated and draining the personell of energy. The paradox that the patient is looking so healthy but bearing so much pain was confusing for the health care personell.Conclusions Communication and an empathic encounter was identified as important elements for patient care.

This thesis contains a wider discussion on the analytical framework of classstudies in political science. The purpose is to put class into the light of a usefulmethodological and theoretical tool when it comes to studies on inequality and political,as well as scientific approaches and explanations to why people have awide range of differences in how they pursue their lives. It is my ambition to discusshow class relations can be theorized and explained within a given context, aswell as in society as a whole. Due to stress, the workplace is a setting where actions of health promotion are of great importance in the perspective of public health. Stress is caused by heavy workload, low control of organizing their tasks and lack of support from colleagues and supervisors. This can lead to cardiovascular disease, depression and insomnia. Due to the health problems that this causes, it is important to examine how senior immigration offices perceive their psychosocial work environment.The aim of this thesis is to examine how the senior immigration offices at the Migration Board perceive their psychosocial work environment. The study is based on a qualitative approach with deductive content analysis and the data has therefore been collected through interviewing six people based on a semi-structured interview guide.The result has shown that the senior immigration offices are pleased with their work environment and that their workload is constantly changing.

Arbetsförmedlingen is the Swedish national authority responsible for the work politics, and its main purpose is to create and build a solid and sustainable job market.Economic crises together with changes in the society and in the organization over the past few years mean that the unemployed individuals that come in contact with Arbetsförmedlingen are no longer a homogenous group. A lot of effort is put into helping those who may find it difficult to enter the work environment, such as youths (19 ? 26 years old), people who have been unemployed or on sick leave for a long period of time, people with disabilities or immigrants who are newly arrived in Sweden.A harder social and economic climate can lead to frustration among the unemployed which mean that security measures at the offices has had to become adjusted. Local offices now have a public area where they have meetings with their clients and a locked open plan office space to which the public have no access. Working within an open plan office environment can cause health problems, mostly due to the constant background noise that comes from people having conversations on the phone, or with each other.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to describe how Swedish public libraries use Web 2.0-tools and their experiences of using the tools. Focus of the study lies in the contact between public libraries and their patrons on the Web 2.0-tools. For the purposes of the study, the use of weblogs and MySpace were chosen for examination. The methodology used for this study was qualitative interviews.

På uppdrag av Röda Korset i Karlskrona har författarna gjort en utvärdering av besöksverksamheten ur besökarnas synvinkel. Författarna valde att genomföra en enkätundersökning med slumpvist utvalda besökare. För att få en bra validitet i enkäten genomfördes en pilotstudie som fick till följd att enkäten justerades en aning innan författarna verkställde enkätundersökningen. Under våren 2005 utfördes enkätundersökningen efter att författarna blivit inbjudna till två Röda Korsmöte där de fiivilliga besökarna träffades. Hänsyn till ålder och kön togs inte av författarna. Resultatet visar att besöksverksamheten i Karlskrona utförs överlag mest av kvinnor i aldern 31 år och över.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether Sweden has the obligation to provide for freedom of conscience in health care. Furthermore, it must be examined, whose rights according to the law will go first, health professionals right to freedom of conscience or the patient right to equal treat-ment.
