The right to freedom of conscience is protected by international conventions and declarations of human rights that have been ratified by Sweden. Nationally, the issue of health professionals? right to freedom of conscience in the abortion care is not resolved by public inquiry. This has led to that Sweden has been notified to the European Committee of Social Rights on the grounds that the country is considered to be violating the Council of  Europe Resolution 1763 and that the proper question to be determined by regulations of the interests that are balanced, based on their legal value in relation to each other. Freedoms, rights and obligations conflict with each other.

Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskans arbete på akutmottagning präglas av hög medicinsk kompetens och effektivitet. Tiden patienten får med vårdpersonalen är ofta kort och intensiv och patientens behov av psykosocial omvårdnad, som i regel är stort, kan inte alltid tillgodoses. Vårdlidande är det lidande som skapas av vårdgivaren på grund av felbehandlingar, långa väntetider men främst i vårdrelationen mellan patient och vårdpersonal. Syfte: Belysa patienters vårdlidande i mötet med vårdpersonal på akutmottagning. Metod: En litteraturstudie med granskning av åtta stycken kvalitativa forskningsartiklar.

Bakgrund: I de flesta utvecklade länder är prostatacancer numera den vanligaste cancerformen hos män. Män som drabbas av prostatacancer upplever att deras liv har förändrats på ett eller annat sätt efter diagnosen. Sjukdomens påföljder för männens dagliga liv, både de psykiska och fysiska blir en del av deras livsvärld. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa livsvärlden hos män med prostatacancer. Metod: Metoden som användes i denna studie var en kvalitativ litteraturstudie, baserad på vetenskapliga artiklar.

Diabetes är en sjukdom som ökar kraftigt runt om i världen och är vanlig även i Sverige. För att kunna bemästra sjukdomen måste den drabbade personen klara av att bedriva egenvård. Det är vårdpersonalens uppgift att lära ut egenvård och uppmuntra till detta men det yttersta ansvaret ligger hos personen med sjukdomen. Med studien vill författarna identifiera faktorer som kan påverka mötet mellan vårdare och personer med diabetes i deras egenvård. Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie.

Att drabbas av en ätstörningssjukdom får som konsekvens att personen förlorar sin sjukdomsinsikt, matsituationer, maten och vårdpersonalen blir till fiender. Kampen mot sjukdomen för att bli frisk är lång och mödisam. Vården för ätstörningspatienten varierar beroende på personens tillstånd och på vilken avdelning personen är inlagd. Syftet har varit att belysa kvinnor med ätstörningar och deras upplevelser av mötet med vårdpersonal. Studien har genomförts som litteraturstudie där resultatet bygger på skönlitterära självbiografier.

Aim Our aim is to highlight perceptions of fibromyalgia among health care personell.MethodsA systematic literature review conducted with a deductive approach.FindingsHealth care personell felt insecure because of a lack of understanding which lead to avoiding contact with these patients. Many felt that the fibromyalgia patient was categorised and that they would have been better served with another name of their disease. There was a great distrust against the diagnosis and its aetiology. The patient was perceived as troublesome, illness-fixated and draining the personell of energy. The paradox that the patient is looking so healthy but bearing so much pain was confusing for the health care personell.Conclusions Communication and an empathic encounter was identified as important elements for patient care.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to describe how Swedish public libraries use Web 2.0-tools and their experiences of using the tools. Focus of the study lies in the contact between public libraries and their patrons on the Web 2.0-tools. For the purposes of the study, the use of weblogs and MySpace were chosen for examination. The methodology used for this study was qualitative interviews.

Arbetsförmedlingen is the Swedish national authority responsible for the work politics, and its main purpose is to create and build a solid and sustainable job market.Economic crises together with changes in the society and in the organization over the past few years mean that the unemployed individuals that come in contact with Arbetsförmedlingen are no longer a homogenous group. A lot of effort is put into helping those who may find it difficult to enter the work environment, such as youths (19 ? 26 years old), people who have been unemployed or on sick leave for a long period of time, people with disabilities or immigrants who are newly arrived in Sweden.A harder social and economic climate can lead to frustration among the unemployed which mean that security measures at the offices has had to become adjusted. Local offices now have a public area where they have meetings with their clients and a locked open plan office space to which the public have no access. Working within an open plan office environment can cause health problems, mostly due to the constant background noise that comes from people having conversations on the phone, or with each other.

Due to stress, the workplace is a setting where actions of health promotion are of great importance in the perspective of public health. Stress is caused by heavy workload, low control of organizing their tasks and lack of support from colleagues and supervisors. This can lead to cardiovascular disease, depression and insomnia. Due to the health problems that this causes, it is important to examine how senior immigration offices perceive their psychosocial work environment.The aim of this thesis is to examine how the senior immigration offices at the Migration Board perceive their psychosocial work environment. The study is based on a qualitative approach with deductive content analysis and the data has therefore been collected through interviewing six people based on a semi-structured interview guide.The result has shown that the senior immigration offices are pleased with their work environment and that their workload is constantly changing.

AbstractPurpose/Aim: To investigate how the positions between the paper, the public and the elite in society have changed on Aftonbladets Op-Eds and Letter to the editor-pages between 1999 to 2005. In a wider context this means Aftonbladets potential to contribute to the role of the press as a forum of public debate.Material/Method: The study focuses on one week during 1999, 2002 and 2005. Here a quantitative contents analyse with inspiration from conversation (dialogue) analyse has been used.Main results: The study shows that the paper has strengthened its position over this period of time. Mainly by taking a more active role in forming and encouraging the debate. The public was given more space in 2002, then in 1999 and 2005.
