Det är av stor vikt att hitta faktorer som leder till bättre livskvalitet för personer med allvarlig psykisk ohälsa. Ofta har dessa personer ett behov av flertal insatser/stöd och behandling samtidigt. En vanlig situation för dessa personer har dock varit att de ?faller mellan stolarna? då ingen instans tar ett helhetsansvar om brukarnas situation, trots den komplexa problematiken. En insats som tar ett samlat grepp om personer med allvarlig psykisk ohälsa är Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) och Case Management.

The process of gift-giving is something that occurs all around the world, and most people are both givers and receivers of gifts. While receiving a gift is often associated with joyous feelings, purchasing and giving a gift may not generate the same feelings. The worries of giving a gift may include anguish of finding the right gift for the right person, and not to mention it shall be appropriate given the situation. This paper aims to describe consumer attitudes in various gift-giving occasions. Tidigare forskning har pekat på att människor och djur som anses sakna ansvar för sin situation väcker mycket empati. Två experiment genomfördes för att se om det förelåg någon skillnad i empati gentemot människor och djur. I Experiment 1 läste 244 studenter om en man, kvinna, katt eller hund som var mer eller mindre ansvarig för att ha hamnat i en svår situation. Empati hade ett negativt samband med ansvar. I Experiment 2 läste 73 studenter om en man eller varg som framställdes lika ansvariga.

The Christianisation of Sweden is not much about religion. Instead, there is much to be gained by looking at it as a colonial situation with changing social identities and power structures. The field of the social economy and of the work integration social enterprises (WISE) in particular, is for many a more or less unknown area. Unlike ordinary enterprises the WISE's are different due to their aim of integrating disadvantaged people through work. In comparison with other small enterprises earlier research has shown that the WISE's are dealing with challenges regarding recruitment, participation, leadership, sustainable business ideas but above all, the access to funding. The purpose of this essay has therefore been to examine and analyze the financial situation of eight WISE's located in the Stockholm County. The results indicate that half of the enterprises perceive their economic situation as very unstable and as an obstacle to their further development.

Syftet med denna studie är att få en djupare förståelse för hur ofrivilligt barnlösa upplever sin situation i samhället och av omgivningen. Ofrivillig barnlöshet berör många individer både socialt och psykiskt. Var sjätte par lider av ofrivillig barnlöshet men ändå så hör man så lite om detta. I denna studie används Erving Goffmans teori om stigma och Zygmunt Baumans teorier om individualisering och flytande kärlek. För att besvara syftet gjordes en kvalitativ studie med sex intervjuer för att få en uppfattning om deras upplevelse.

SammanfattningSyftetmed denna studie var att beskriva hur strokepatienter upplever sin livskvalitet utifrån ett fysiskt, psykiskt och socialt perspektiv. Metoden för denna litteraturstudie med beskrivande design var att ta fram artiklar genom sökning i databaserna Academic Search Elite, Cinahl, Pubmed. Femton artiklar som uppfyllde inklusionskriterierna hittades och användes i föreliggande studie. Resultatet visar att livskvaliteten kan påverkas negativt efter en stroke och kan leda till att patienten förlorar en del av sin identitet. Stroke kan förändra patienternas liv och tvinga dem att anpassa sig till sin nya situation, en situation där smärta och olika typer av funktionsnedsättningar och kommunikationssvårigheter kan vara en del av vardagen.

Abstract Syftet med att studera detta är att undersöka anledningen till den könsuppdelade idrottsundervisningen samt vilka effekterna blivit med fokus på flickornas situation. Detta har vi gjort genom att bedriva observationer i två olika skolor i Blekinge, där en av skolorna fortfarande har gemensam idrott och den andra skolan övergått till könsuppdelad idrottsundervisning. För att bredda vårt material har vi även intervjuat inblandade parter, det vill säga elever, rektorer samt idrottslärare. Resultatet av observationerna och intervjuerna visade att flickornas situation förbättrats i den skola där man infört könsseparerad idrott. Flickorna tar för sig, lever ut och tycker det är roligare med idrott där de kan vara för sig själva.

Människan har genom alla sekler, tagit hand om sina döende på olika sätt, allt från vård i hemmet till vård på hospice. Anhöriga hamnar i en svår situation och de upplever mycket känslor. Studiens syfte är att undersöka anhörigas upplevelser av sin situation i anslutning till en närståendes vård i hemmet vid livets slut. Metoden var att analysera tio kvalitativa artiklar som handlade om anhörigas upplevelser inom den palliativa vården. Artiklarna analyserades utifrån Burnards metod och flera kategorier växte fram.

The purpose of this essay is to study the public debate on the subject of creationism, the belief that there is a creator of all life on earth. The study is focused on creationism in different forms in schools and the more general discussion of creationism as an alternative to the theory of evolution. The overall question is what should be taught as the origin of life: Evolution or creationism in various shapes and forms? The essay consists of an overview of previous research in both the USA and Sweden, and an analysis of argumentation on the issue in newspapers. A comparison is made between the USA and Sweden.The analysis of newspapers shows that there are some arguments for different forms of creationism but there are considerably more arguments against creationism.

The present study deals with the importance of play for children's learning in preschool. The purpose is to investigate the importance of play for children's learning in preschool from a pedagogue?s perspective. The study is based on two issues: How does the pedagogue´s who were interviewed reason about the impact the play has on children's development? How does the pedagogue´s approach to make play a learning situation? The empirical data is based on semi-structured interviews with four preschool pedagogue´s.

Bakgrund: Hälso- och sjukvårdslagen fick år 2010 en ny paragraf som resulterat i nya riktlinjer i flera av Sveriges landsting angående bemötandet av barn som anhöriga. Årligen förlorar 3361 barn en förälder på grund av svår sjukdom och detta kan resultera i en sämre fysisk och psykisk hälsa hos barnet. En ökad medvetenhet inom sjukvården skulle möjliggöra igenkännande och stöd till drabbade barn. Syfte: Att beskriva hur barn hanterar sin situation då en förälder är svårt sjuk och hur sjuksköterskan kan stödja barnet. Metod: En litteraturöversikt baserad på 13 studier med kvalitativ ansats.
