Problemet som har undersökts är hur olika shadow map-algoritmer i en miljö med långa skuggor beter sig, där ett minimerat antal artefakter så som brus och aliasing är synligt. För detta undersöktes Percentage-Closer Filtering (PCF), som är en variant av shadow map, med olika samplingstekniker ? och även en vidarebyggnad med Percentage-Closer Soft Shadow (PCSS) implementerades.

Då den statliga granskningen av läromedel upphört är det upp till varje undervisande lärare att bedöma huruvida läromedel ligger i linje med de gällande kursplanerna eller ej. Syftet med uppsatsen är att granska 1800-talet i fyra läromedel i litteraturhistoria. Med hermeneutiken som verktyg tolkas två olika kursplaner i svenskämnet, den nu gällande kursplanen i Svenska 1 hämtad ur Gy 11 och kursplanen för Svenska B hämtad ur Lpf 94. Tolkningen av aspekter som kan kopplas till litteratur ligger till grund för analysen av de aktuella läromedlen. Resultatet visar att de fyra läromedlen tar upp information som ligger i linje med det kursplanerna föreskriver och kan således möjliggöra att eleven uppnår målen när det kommer till studier av författare och dess verk under 1800-talet..

This paper highlights the dilemma that occurs in the common asylum and migration policy of the European Union. What happens when the union have to choose between liberal standards with high priorities to human rights and a realistic focus on security? The aim is to study the asylum policy presented in the Stockholm Program, and thereafter evaluate what kind of character the union has itself. By an ideal type analysis of the Stockholm program from 2009, the common asylum policy is divided into either liberal or realistic ideas.

This report is an evaluation of the cooperation between the rescue command centre and the POSOM-groups (?Psychological and social support?) after the Tsunami catastrophe in December, 2004. The report describes the interaction between these two municipal administrations, what services the rescue command centre provided and how they gathered information. Finally the author suggests different solutions to how the collaboration within these different municipal administrations can be increased and improved in future times of crisis..

The purpose of this litterature review is to illustrate the nursing care to patient with chronic pain. As a theoretic frame for this study we choose Aron Antonowsky. The results of this study are based on 8 scientific articles. The findings are presented in main categories and ideas. The Common Agricultural Policy has been a burning topic for debate for severaldecades. According to the CAP:s opponents it's effects include pollution, market distortionsand not least a huge expense for the European union.In this study we seek to explain why the CAP has remained almostunreformed since it's constitution in the 1950:s. The means by which we do so isa case study where we analyze the CAP by using three different theories; liberalinter-governmentalism, realistic trade theory and new institutionalism.In the final chapter we conclude that the theories complement each other. Newinstitutionalism explains the rigidity of the CAP. The liberal perspective explainsthe origin and the logic behind the policy whereas the realistic point of view putsthe policy in the light of an international economic theory and recognizes nationalpolicy makers roll in the inflexibility of the CAP..

Regeringen svarar snabbt genom att träna upp och sätta in den så kallande Janjaweed-gerillan som med regeringens stöd börjar bedriva etnisk resning och folkmord i Darfur.Sudan har sedan urminnes tider präglats av konflikter mellan araber och svarta, och denna konflikt är inget undantag. Det mänskliga lidandet i Darfur slår hela tiden nya rekord, men trots det står omvärlden bredvid och tittar på. FN har försökt att få till åtgärder men lamslås av veto i säkerhetsrådet.
