This essay examines how the author of 1 Peter exhorted Christ-believing slaves and wives in 1 Pet 2:18-3:6, a passage that invites questions about submission, questions that, in contemporary contexts, are oftentimes controversial. The essay also calls attention to the advantages and the complexities of understanding 2:18-3:6 relative to ancient Roman familial and hierarchical structures. A close exegetical analysis of the passage points out a variety of scholarly viewpoints on ?Peter?s? admonitions to slaves and wives. Following the exegetical analysis, attention is given to feminist hermeneutics and to potential uses of this biblical text in contemporary contexts.
Tillit i Psaltaren : Användningen av b??a? och i viss mån ??s? i klago-, förtröstans- och tackpsalmerna
I uppsatsen analyseras hur kvinnorna framställs i de tre liknelserna i Lukasevangeliet med kvinnliga huvudkaraktärer: Lukas 13:20-21; 15:8-10; 18:1-8. Genom att analysera liknelsernas presentation av kvinnor är målet att nå fram till ett ställningstagande kring hur kvinnorna framställs i dessa. Förhoppningen är också att uppsatsen ska leda fram till insikter som kan bidra till den större diskussionen kring Lukasevangeliets övergripande kvinnobild. Analysen sker med en narrativ-kritisk metod. Med olika narrativ-kritiska verktyg analyseras textens berättarteknik, för att se vad som lyfts fram och tonas ned, samt hur detta påverkar framställningen av kvinnorna. I analysen används också ett feministiskt perspektiv.

The purpose of the study was from the perspective of young people that has completed a stay at HVB-home. The respondents are between 15-21 years both boys and girls. The basic questions were: How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service process? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service contents? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service regarding available information and how the staff is available? What positive and negative experience do they have from their stay at the HVB-home? We also wish to get a picture of what is important to change to improve the quality on this HVB-home. To receive answers to those questions we formed a questionnaire.
