Snow White through Grimm and Disney - A Comparative StudyThis essay attempts to discern the differences regarding six Swedish versions of the fairy-tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs over a period of 150 years. Focus is placed on structural transformations through time and media according to the analytical theories of Vladimir Propp. Attention is also given to former research done on the impact of the fairy-tale on the child from a psychological and social point of view. Of interest is the historical background of the tale, commencing with oral tradition, and how this was dealt with by the Grimm brothers. Three of the versions used for this comparative study are variants of the Grimm tale, and three belong to Walt Disney productions, i.e.

This paper is a morphological structure-analysis of icelandic tales to determine their common and distinguishable components in relation to one another and to the russian folktale with Vladimir Propp?s book Morphology of the Folktale (1968) as theoretical basis. The paper looks at the Poetic Edda and Njals saga and the functions of the actions for each other and for the story as a whole. Although the icelandic tales shows great similarities with the russian folktale in general, it also shows deviations. The functions have sometimes appeared on inverted positions, and in a full third of the stories the evil has won over the good in a crucial struggle, but has in 90 % of these stories still been punished before the end.

The subject of my thesis is what I have chosen to call the ?action babe cinema? of the 21st century, essentially action-movies featuring a female heroine in the lead role. Inspired by the theories of Vladímir Propp, author of Morphology of the Folktale, I have tried to reveal the underlying structure of these films. I have chosen eleven films which form my material, and from these extracted a number of functions (which means the actions of a character), that reoccur frequently. The heroines? transformation can be seen as a central theme of the action babe cinema, and I have divided the films into two groups depending on the course of the transformation, either from soft to hard or the other way around.

This essay is about the Swedish folk and troubadour singer Fred Åkerström and particularly his interpretations of the Swedish national poet Carl Michael Bellman. This essay examines two modern retellings of the classic fairy tale of Snow White and the seven dwarfs in the version of the brothers Grimm. By analyzing the differences in the modern version to the more original one my aim is to be able to see how these objects of popular culture are affected by the type of society they are created within.In my two-step analysis I have first used the theory of narratology to find what changes had been made in the two retellings. Here I have the help of several key concepts of the theorists Vladimir Propp, Gérard Genette and David Bordwell. The narrative differences, which turned out to concern the characters mostly, I have then sought to explain in the light of the sociological theories of Zygmunt Bauman regarding liquid modernity and liquid fears..

De digitala spelen tar allt större plats i vårt västerländska samhälle. Tiden då spelande bara var för de mest inbitna datorfantasterna är sedan länge förbi. Idag konkurrerar spelindustrin med både film- och musikindustrin om konsumenternas uppmärksamhet.Trots det har forskning kring de digitala spelen länge åsidosatts. Men en process är nu i full gång för att etablera forskning kring spel och dess innehålls- och uttrycksmässiga aspekter som ser bortom frågan om eventuella skadliga psykologiska effekter och liknande. Men denna process är ung och oenighet råder om hur spelen som studieobjekt ska behandlas.Denna debatt som utgår från två olika ansatser; den narratologiska och ludologiska, har visat sig vara central i forskarvärlden.

SammanfattningDet började med att vi var intresserade av vad kvalitet är och vad kvalitet innebär i fritidshemmet. Vi var även angelägna om att finna ut om kvalitet är en fråga om resurser eller om pedagogen också har en viktig roll i det sammanhanget. Därför blev det naturligt för oss att undersöka hur förutsättningarna för lärande ser ut i fritidsverksamheten. Våra forskningsfrågor blev; Hur beskrivs en fritidspedagogs yrkesutövning? Och vad avses med kvalitet i fritidshem? För att undersöka detta valde vi att göra en textanalys som baseras på Skolinspektionens granskning av kvalitet i fritidshem.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att visa på likheten mellan Dan Browns The Da Vinci Code och sagans struktur, aktörer och handling, samt att påvisa romanens didaktiska möjligheter. Utifrån Vladimir Propps sagoteori och Northrop Fryes arketyper och historiska kategorisering samt ett studium av populärromanens likheter med sagan utifrån Ulla Lundqvists undersökning görs en strukturalistisk analys. Vidare har en mindre enkätundersökning gjorts för att skapa en uppfattning om hur en grupp elever på en gymnasieskolan uppfattat romanens didaktiska möjligheter. Resultatet visar att The Da Vinci Code innehåller sagans struktur, med endast några få avvikelser från den kronologiska ordningen, samt att romanens aktörer överrensstämmer med Propps teori och Fryes arketyper. Handlingen uppvisar tydliga inslag från sagan, och överrensstämmer med de sagoelement som Lundqvists undersökning visar, så som exempelvis dualism, magi, i överförd bemärkelse, och ett lyckligt slut.

Syftet med min undersökning var att ta reda på lärares syn på lärare-elev-relationen. I min rapport belyser jag vad som karaktäriserar en god lärare-elev-relation, hur en god relation etableras, vilken betydelse en god lärare-elev-relation har, samt vilka hinder och svårigheter som lärarna upplever sig ha för att kunna etablera goda elevrelationer. Jag genomförde en kvalitativ intervjustudie för att kunna belysa fenomenet mer nyanserat och djupgående. I studien ingick fem lärare från en gymnasieskola i Kalmar. Urvalet gjordes strategiskt för att garantera att det skulle finnas en spridning vad det gäller lärares kön, år som verksam lärare samt ämneskombinationer.

Därefter kommer dagboksanteckningar från mörderskan, och läsaren förstår då att flickan i skogen och dagboksförfattarinnan är samma person.Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka hur Unni Lindell använder genrer och skiftena dem emellan i hennes bok, Rödluvan (2004). Hon skriver över genregränserna och presenterar olika genrer såsom deckare, dagbok och saga i en och samma bok.
