Modersmålslärare : klarspråk eller tunghäfta?
This research is about different perspectives, offered by three mother tongue teachers, one principal and also featuring a representative from Skolverket, on the subject: teacher legitimation for mother tongue teachers, mother tongue teachers opportunity for competence education and the future of mother tongue education in Sweden.The theoretical framework is mother tongue language, globalization, the post-colonial theory, power and social inequality. A qualitative approach was used including five interviews taken place in Stockholm, the results does not however represent the whole country nor the community of Stockholm itself.The result shows that mother tongue teachers thinks the teacher legitimation does not mean anything regarding their already low-status. Even principal and representative from Skolverket express their concern towards the 'non-demand' for mother tongue teachers to get their legitimation and they feel there is a lack of ambition from decisonmakers to include the mother tongue teachers.As per today there is no higher education for mother tongue teachers leading towards an exam. Mother tongue teachers are worried about their future although principal and representant takes a bright outlook. .
Redovisning är meningslös : En studie om redovisningens roll i AP-fondernas onoterade fastighetsbolag
Vår undersökning syftar till att utreda vilken roll den finansiella informationen spelar för att minska informationsdiskrepansen mellan AP-fonderna och de onoterade fastighetsbolag som fonderna är delägare i. Informationen har samlats in med en kvalitativ metod genom intervjuer med både AP-fonderna och de onoterade fastighetsbolagen de äger och deläger. Teorin som vi utgår från för att undersöka vårt syfte är agentteorin, dessutom använder vi teori för att beskriva på vilket sätt redovisningen används för att minska just principal-agent konflikten. Det som vi kommer fram till i vår studie är att fastighetsbolagens redovisning spelar en begränsad roll för att minska principal-agent konflikten mellan AP-fonderna och de onoterade fastighetsbolagen. Ägarkoncentrationen gör det istället möjligt för parterna att kommunicera genom styrelsemöten och annan rapportering, och fastighetsbolagens redovisning får därmed en mer begränsad roll i att minska principal-agent konflikten..

When it comes to the priority of a project proposal, a variety of factors is affecting theoutcome. In the municipal sector, factors of non- economic nature appears to be particularlyimportant when the organization is not intended to be profit-making.This study's research question is What problems can occur around an energy-efficiencyproject proposal in a municipal organization? The purpose of this study is to gainunderstanding of what possible problems an energy efficiency project proposal mayencounter, in the municipal implementation process as well as the problems of a changingownership can bring.To conduct this study, the method was qualitative in nature. We have cooperated withVarberg Energi AB and Varberg kommun, which has stood as respondents for the empiricalbasis of the study. In this study, we have conducted four personal interviews.In this study, we have found that there may be several problematic factors associated with anenergy-efficiency project proposal in a municipal organization.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to study the relations between internal information and the principal business objectives in a knowledge organization. The questions are: how does the organization behave to its internal information resources, how is the information management related to the principal objectives and strategies, what information policy does the organization develop, and how is the management experienced by the employees. The purpose was to study the supply and management of information designed for internal use and the study was carried out with qualitative, semi-structured interviews to get a picture of the internal information management. The informants were mostly key persons with deep knowledge of internal information.

TitleFactors for success : a study of school libraries at compulsory schools and how to integrate them in the educationAbstractThis Master's thesis aims to identify success factors for the integration of school libraries in the education. The search for factors are concentrated to three areas: control documents for the school and school library, the Principal and organisation and the collaboration of librarians and teachers.The method consists of three parts: a documetary study, a questionnaire survey and interviews. The documentary study aimed to reveal how concrete control documents for schools and school libraries are concerning pupils' information literacy and school libraries. The questionnaire survey gave a general view of the situation of school libraries in Skåne and to help identify two suitable objects for closer examination. Gunnesboskolan and Rönnowskolan were chosen, and the principals, the school librarians and teachers representing different subjects were interviewed.Our results indicate that there are important factors in all three areas examined.
Licentieringsf?rfarandet under frihetstiden: En Principal-Agent-analys av riksdagens maktut?vning
Denna uppsats unders?ker licentieringsf?rfarandet, som var riksdagens juridiska maktmedel f?r att avs?tta medlemmar i riksr?det under frihetstiden i Sverige, med hj?lp av en principal-agent-analys. Studien bygger p? en analys fr?n tidigare forskning av historiska dokument fr?n perioden och unders?ker hur riksdagen anv?nde sin utn?mnings- och avs?ttningsmakt f?r att styra riksr?dets sammans?ttning och beslut. Genom Linnarssons (1943) avhandling identifierades specifika fall av licentiering, de politiska konflikterna och de juridiska grunder som anv?ndes f?r att r?ttf?rdiga avs?ttningarna och via en analys av dessa genom principal-agent teorin fick vi en mer nyanserad bild av licentieringsf?rfarandet.
Skolan som institution : En processtudie av skolpolitikens skeenden
This thesis has aimed to study steering process and institutionalization in the context of educational policy work. This has been conducted by using empirical material from the political decision-making process that preceded the implementation of a new national program on how principals should be educated and certified. By using an aggregated theoretical point of view containing new institutionalism and traditional Swedish curriculum theory, the process was analyzed from different perspectives. The results depict a process that contained several actors who tried to shape the principal education program differently. From the theoretical perspectives, the decision-making process could be understood as an act of both self-interest as well as trust in their own beliefs and cultural values.

This essay deals with the issue how to define the concept successful school and what ingredients it includes. To aim this task I have interviewed four principals at upper secondary schools, two placed in community schools and the other two working for non-community schools. We have discussed how the principals define a successful school, whether they believe that the principal has a major part in contributing to the schools success or not and further if they think that schools have anything in common with private companies.The principals all agreed on what components they believe a successful school consists of, that is good school results from the pupils, a high comfort level for the pupils at school, professional management from the principal and a high level of young people who wants to attend the particular school.Further I have studied Swedish and foreign research in the area of successful schools and management in schools to get at good background in this matter..

Syfte: Uppsatsen använder kvantitativa metoder för att utröna huruvida aktierelaterade incitamentsprgram påverkar företagets förmåga att skapa värde för ägarna. In 2014 came new guidelines for after-school centers. These guidelines clarifies that it is the principal who is pedagogically responsible for the after-school centers. Due to that fact we became interested in investigating how principals describe their educational leadership for after-school centers. With qualitative interviews as a method we have investigated how four principals describe their educational leadership for the after-school center based on the new guidelines and how they talk about their employees and the after-school centers. Our results are based on the empirical material we received from these interviews. By analyzing this empirical material, based on the theory of situational leadership, we received answers to our research questions. .
Frivillig revision och dess påverkan på trovärdigheten : En studie av fyra banker
Ett undantag från revisionsplikten infördes för mindre aktiebolag den 1 november 2010, som berör ungefär 70 % av de svenska aktiebolagen eller 250 000 bolag. Vid kreditgivningen behöver bankerna information för att minska risken och vikten vid att informationen stämmer är stor. Revisorn är ett sätt för att bekräfta informationen och öka trovärdigheten för räkenskaperna. Detta ledde till vår problemformulering: Förändras trovärdigheten i ett bolags finansiella rapporter om aktiebolaget väljer bort revisionen? Vilka konsekvenser får det för bolagen i relation till bankerna?Syftet är att få en bild av om trovärdigheten hos ett bolag förändras då de väljer bort revisionen och vilka konsekvenser det kan få.Studien har en deduktiv ansats, vilket innebär att vi började med datainsamling och teorier.
För barnets bästa? : En kvalitativ undersökning om förskollärare och rektorers tankar kring sin anmälningsskyldighet
We came across the discussion about the so-called duty to report (14 kap 1 § SoL) and we found some previous research, showing that preschool teachers are hesitant to report, and that they want real evidence that children are being mistreated, even though the duty to report clearly states that they have to report as soon as they suspect that a child is being mistreated. Our purpose became to study what tendencies and conditions preschool teachers and principals, placed in the municipalities of Hässleholm and Kristianstad, have to fulfil their duty to report according to the social services act, when there is a well founded suspicion that a child is being mistreated. We split the purpose into the following research questions: Do local guidelines about how preschool teachers should act when suspecting that a child is being mistreated exist, and are they being followed? To what degree does the staff has knowledge about these guidelines? How do preschool teachers experience the treatment from colleagues, principals and social welfare officers when they´ve done or wanted to do a report? How do preschool teachers experience the reactions of a report from custodians? We did conversational interviews with two principals, one from the municipality of Hässleholm, and one from the municipality of Kristianstad. We also made focusgroup interviews with the staff, three persons each from one of their respective preschools. Our conclusion is that preschool teachers are unwilling to report mistreatment.
