This essay is about the meeting of the pedagogic mission and the reality of the conditions in preschools. It is about the frustrations that I, as a pedagogue, experience when I cannot fulfill this mission. An example of this is working when understaffed.My purpose is the acknowledgment of two main areas of the curriculum: caring and learning. This essay demonstrates the diversity of the occupation and it ?s constant need of positioning.

Pedagogers tankar och arbetssätt kring elever med koncentrationssvårigheter

The purpose of this thesis is to find out if principals and teachers have experience, expectations and thoughts about the differences that the new Education Act means in relation to the old one about action programme. Through qualitative interviews with two principals and four teachers, I have tried to answer my research questions that I have made based on the purpose. The questions are: How do the interviewees describe the routines about action programme?  Has, according to the interviewees, the routines been changed with the new Education Act? How do teachers and principals experience the differences between the old and new Education Act regarding the action programmes?The results of my survey shows that the process of action programme is different at different schools and that it has been adapted to the new Education Act in varying degrees. These results give differences in the experiences of the new directives.

En bris mot OPS

OPS är, i Sverige, en ny genomförandeform som innebär ett offentligt och privat samarbete vid främst större bygg och infrastrukturprojekt. OPS har växt fram som ett alternativ till de traditionella upphandlingsformerna, främst på internationell mark. Vid en större upphandling är det viktigt att välja rätt upphandlingsform till rätt projekt och därför är en utredning och granskning högst nödvändigt. För att närmare kunna analysera drivkraften för en OPS-upphandling behövs lämpliga teorier att luta sig emot. De teorier som studien tagit del av är Principal-Agent samt asymmetrisk informationsteori.

Bolagisering av kommunal verksamhet : Centrala faktorer samt positiva och negativa aspekter ur ett situationssynsätt

För att möta de effektiviseringskrav som ställs på kommunal sektor ser kommuner till alternativa driftsformer för delar av organisationen. Bolagisering av kommunal verksamhet är något som har ökat de senaste åren för att möta kommunernas ökade krav. Syftet med studien är att öka förståelsen för bolagisering av kommunal verksamhet. Detta genom att identifiera centrala faktorer samt positiva och negativa aspekter med bolagisering av kommunal verksamhet. För att besvara syftet utfördes kvalitativa intervjuer med aktörer inom förvaltningar och kommunalägda bolag, detta för att belysa aktörernas egna upplevelser av bolagisering.

Hur synliggörs barnperspektivet i kontaktfamiljsprocessen? : en undersökning med fokus på avslutningen

The most common preventive and treatment service for children in child welfare services in Sweden is the contact family program. The number of children who are involved in the program has steadily increased. Usually it is a single mother who apply for or is offered this service. The aim with a contact family is that the parent should get respite and that the child should have its network enlarged and sometimes get a male role model.The purpose of this study was to look into how children´s perspective was considered in the contact family process. I have studied the process in order to see how it works and to see to what extent children is participating.

Revisionskommitté - en förtroendehöjande åtgärd?

Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att utreda och analysera huruvida investerarnas förtroende för företagen påverkas om företagen inrättar revisionskommittéer. Metod: Informationen samlades in genom ett flertal telefonintervjuer. Diverse fondbolag, Aktiespararna och Fondbolagens Förening intervjuades såsom förespråkare för småspararna. Teoretiska Principal- och agentteorin har använts för att beskriva perspektiv: intressekonflikten mellan företagsledning och ägare. Förtroende har analyserats utifrån spelteoretiskt och kulturellt synsätt.

Outsourcing av ekonomifunktionen : En kvalitativ studie på sju företag i Sverige

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka faktorer som ligger bakom valet att outsourca kontra inte outsourca och varför inte fler företag väljer att outsourca med tanke på de fördelar som finns. Utifrån teori och tidigare forskning har fyra forskningsfrågor tagits fram som sedan testas under kapitlet resultat.I denna uppsats har kvalitativ metod använts. Sekundärdata har hämtats från lit-teratur i form av böcker och artiklar. Inspiration har även hämtats ifrån tidigare uppsatser, tidningsartiklar och olika internetsidor. Primärdata har insamlats med hjälp av semi-strukturerade intervjuer som sedan redovisas under kapitlet resultat.

Att Visualisera Oron : Hotet, subjektet och terrorattentatet i Stockholm 2010

This study examines which socially constructed threats and subjects of security existed during the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in Stockholm 2010. With ideas of identity and difference as a starting point the theoretical framework is then developed with ideas from the new critical security studies including key subjects such as attributes, risk, imaging and visualisation. The study will be executed with the use of a discourse analysis approach using newspaper articles and chronicles as the principal empirical material. The analysis will then follow two separate themes. Firstly, the different threats and subjects of security will be deduced, and also, how these social constructions inevitably create each other and require each other to continue existing.

"För barnets bästa" : Skolkuratorers samarbete med övrig skolpersonal gällande anmälningsskyldigheten i Socialtjänstlagen vid misstanke om att barn far illa

The purpose of this essay was to study how school welfare officers cooperate with other school staff, regarding children in vulnerable positions, and how the school staff apply their obligation to report to the social services if they have concerns regarding children at risk, according to the law of social service, SoL.We have especially focused on questions concerning cooperation, both between the school staff, and between the school and the social services. We also wanted to identify some of the restraining factors and dilemmas that could come up during the process of reporting children at risk to the social services. The study was based on qualitative interviews with ten school welfare officers from the same municipality.Our conclusions of our study are that there exists a well-developed cooperation between several organizational levels, including the school welfare officers, other professions in the schools and the social services. There were though opinions among the school welfare officers that they wanted to increase their professional claims in relation to the school nurse, due to their larger competence in talking to children. Regarding the formal responsibility to report to the social services, a majority of the school welfare officers felt they had access to the support they needed from both their principal and the students healthcare-team, and that they were not left alone in the process..

Utlandsfödda människors upplevelser av sjuksköterskans bemötande i den svenska sjukvården.

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe how immigrants have experienced nurse's attitude and how they would like nurse´s to care for them in the Swedish health care. Method: The authors have conducted an interview study with qualitative approach. The sampling method used was a convenience sample. The informants were recruited at a school after the authors received the principal's approval. Eight semi-structured interviews were performed with an interview guide for support.

The purpose of the study is to examine what effects the law has on principals? approaches to mandatory reporting of child maltreatment (Social Services Act 14:1§). Moreover, the aim is to study if the regulation gets the impact intended. To respond to the purpose, legal science methods in the form of sociology of law were employed aided by qualitative semi-structured research interviews. The interviews comprised six principals in six different schools in the Stockholm area.

A systematic quality work is essential for anyone working in preschool, school,kindergarten and adult education to give children and students an equal education.Skollagen (2010:800) indicates that quality work should be focused on the nationalgoals of education. According to Skolverkets allmänna råd med kommentarer omsystematiskt kvalitetsarbete - för skolväsendet (2012) is the work to develop quality acontinuous process. Everyone's involvement and participation is therefore essential.Systematic quality work means to systematically and continuously monitor theactivities, analyze performance against national targets and based on that plan anddevelop. Although the work has been driven outside governmental policy documentssince 1997 shows, among others, Skolinspektionens audits of municipalities andschools that there is major deficiencies in the obligation to conduct a systematicquality work. It appears that more than half of the surveyed schools had deficienciesin its system quality work.This is the starting position this study takes on to and through literature review,document studies and interviews of principals is the subject problematized.

Rektorers psykosociala arbetsmiljö

The purpose of this study is to review the legal situation of the psychosocial work enivronment for principals. The purpose is also to get an increased understanding for how the principals work environment can affect people involved in the swedish school. The psychosocial work environment is explained through studying European law, national law and case law. The principals work situation is studied by different sources, for example from the Work Environment Agency and a report from the Swedish School Agency. The legal dogmatic method has been applied with the legal sociology method to analyze the material.
