Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka och synliggöra några olika sätt att se på musik som konst (eller icke-konst). Som metod har jag valt att göra kvalitativa intervjuer med fem personer som, på olika sätt och inom olika genrer, skapar musik eller ljudkonst. I intervjuerna har jag försökt ringa in de olika personernas syn på konstbegreppet, på musik i förhållande till detta begrepp samt på deras eget skapande. Resultaten visar på fem individuella synsätt och personliga definitioner av konst. Vilka intervjupersoner som delar varandras synsätt varierar mellan de olika frågeområdena och några generaliserbara slutsatser går inte att dra, vilket inte heller har varit målet med undersökningen.

AbstractAim: this paper is a report of a concept analysis of forgiveness and its practice within the social work area. Background: worldwide interest in and funding for forgiveness research has brought about a body of knowledge from many disciplines that could be clinically useful to social work. At this time forgiveness interventions are used in social work in other countries, primary in the USA. The social workers in the Scandinavian countries need to focus on this important area of inquiry. Method: forgiveness was explored from a philosophical perspective and from forgiveness interventions from a variety of areas suitable for social work.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the public libraries work towards SFI (Swedish For Immigrants) based on the views of the overseeing librarians. To study this we have asked the following research questions:What distinguishes the public libraries? work towards SFI according to the responsible librarians? What distinguishes the communication between SFI teachers and the librarians according to the responsible librarians? What opinions are held by the librarians in regards to their work with SFI?We have used a semi structured interview method with seven librarians in charge of the activities with SFI at small and medium sized public libraries in a rural area of Sweden. The theoretical framework is composed of Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen?s model for analysis of the local public library profile and the authors? definition of collaboration.

The purpose of this paper is to explore what objects that can be seized and how the management of a seizure should be conducted. Ability to take enforcement against an individual should be carefully weighed against the rights and freedoms that exist. Seizure is one of the various restraints that exist, and the regulation on which they appear is mainly in the Code of Judicial Procedure, Chapter 27th. To be able to apply coercive measures, it is fundamental prerequisite that a criminal investigation is initiated, but there exist some significant exceptions to this. There are also rules about who has the right to provide for the seizure, the decision can be taken by a prosecutor, an investigator, a police officer or, in special cases, the court.

This study examines how professional social workers relate to problematic computer and video gaming as an addiction. It is a qualitative interview study aimed to describe and analyze how professional social workers, who in some way work with problematic computer gaming, relate to the player?s problems in terms of a concept of dependency. The theoretical approach is based on social constructivist theories of discourses, normality, the definition of dependency and diagnoses. The study was conducted through five qualitative half structured definition interviews with professional social workers that work directly or comes in contact with problematic computer gaming.

The management of water resources and waste water varies between the countries of the EU. For many years, a large part of the water in Europe has been contaminated by, among other things, insufficiently treated waste water and emissions from agriculture. The EU Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC and the Urban Waste Water Directive 91/271/EEC are intended to harmonize fresh-water management and waste water management within the whole EU, aiming at safeguarding drinking water of good quality and a high quality of all water within the EU today and in the future. There are however some problems concerning the waste-water directive. One problem is the huge investment needed in Slovakia to fulfil the demands of the waste-water directive for waste-water management in larger communities (with more than 2000 inhabitants).

An industry in distress was the breeding ground for a noted pricing strategy, labeled name-your-price. The industry was the music industry and the pricing strategy bears reminiscence of how medieval buskers earned their living during the dark ages; by letting the customers decide how much the good was worth, embodied by a thrown coin into a hat or similar collector. Translated into the contemporary corporate environment of today, where technical innovations provides access to the intellectual property for free, a few mighty economic actors have once again turned to the strategy were it all started; letting the customer set the price. The hat has been replaced by a box for your credit card number and the live music by a MP3 file, but the similarity is striking. The business model have been applied in other industries as well with various levels of success, thus the purpose of this thesis is to set up a framework for where the name-your-price strategy is applicable.

Vår definition av begreppet Tematisk undervisning har gjorts utifrån litteratur inom området och utifrån intervjuer. Med tematisk undervisning menar vi att man arbetar ämnesintegrerande i form av olika teman som kan variera i längd. Denna definition kommer vi att bygga vår studie på.Syftet med studien är att bidra till förståelse för tematisk undervisning och framför allt dess fördelar och nackdelar. Vårt arbete utgår från dessa forskningsfrågor: Varför används inte tematisk undervisning i större utsträckning i skolorna? Vilka är faktorerna till att lärare väljer ämnesundervisning framför tematisk undervisning? Ger lärarutbildningen kunskap om tematisk undervisning? Vilka är fördelarna med tematisk undervisning? Vilka är nackdelarna med tematisk undervisning?Metoden som har använts i detta arbete är öppen intervju.

Real estate managers work in a hard branch with big competition and skeptical customers. For most people, buying a property is the biggest private purchase of their lives. This puts a big pressure on the real estate agent to make the process run smooth. But how does the customer know which real estate manager to choose? We have researched what effect the real estate managers clothing has on the customers? first impression and how clothing affects customers? choice of real estate agents.To answer our questions we´ve done 13 projective interviews with ten customers and three real estate agents, where we showed four pictures with the same person dressed in different styles.

Social hållbarhet. Vad är det och hur kan man i fysisk planering på kommunal nivå arbeta för att uppnå större social hållbarhet? Dessa frågor kommer att undersökas i denna uppsats med hjälp av en intervju och en dokumentstudie inriktad på Borås tätort.Social hållbarhet är ett komplext begrepp som i regel hamnat i skymundan i de sammanhang där hållbar utveckling behandlas, till fördel för ekonomiska och ekologiska aspekter. En bidragande faktor till detta förhållande är att social hållbarhet som begrepp är föränderligt i sin innebörd, vilket medför att det är svårt att definiera. Frågan som fysiska planerare behöver ställa sig är hur fysisk planering kan förhålla sig till detta begrepp.

Accounting for financial instruments can either be based on a transactions approach or an eco-nomic approach. Under a transactions approach instruments are reported at cost whereas under an economic approach instruments are reported at fair value. Hence, under a transactions approach realization becomes a criterion for recognizing fair value fluctuations as revenue whereas under an economic approach it does not. A mixed model is defined as a combination of the transactions approach and the economic approach insofar it records some accounting items at cost and other items at fair value. The mixed model gives rise to an issue commonly referred to as an accounting mismatch.

An absolute majority of all Swedish children begins to attend preschool at some point between the age of one and five. The acclimatisation to preschool means a great change in every small child's life. They leave all that is well known, the parent and their home, to face a whole new environment with new kids and adults to get to know and learn to trust.The purpose of this study has been to find out how the professionals in preschool reflect upon the child's acclimatisation at preschool. More specifically we wanted answers to how the preschool teachers, in their work with the child's acclimatisation, relates to the today, in preschool, much debated relationship between the two perspectives care and pedagogy.This qualitative study is based on ten interviews with preschool teachers at different preschools in a small town in Sweden. The analysis is based on a presentation of the interview material compared with earlier research and the theoretical aspects we have chosen, which are Bronfenbrenners Ecological Systems Theory and the Object Relations Theory.While working with this paper it has come clear to us that there is no explicit or common definition of the concept of care within preschool, while there is a clear definition of the concept of pedagogy.

Intresset för en etisk dimension i ledarskapet har ökat kraftigt under senare tid och anledningarna till detta ökade intresse är många. En anledning är det faktum att ledarskapet påverkar intressenter såsom kunder, samarbetspartner och inte minst medarbetare: Ett etiskt ledarskap har följaktligen goda effekter på intressenter samt på den långsiktiga lönsamheten, medan ett oetiskt ledarskap missgynnar såväl intressenter som den långsiktiga lönsamheten. Det har dessutom funnits olika åsikter om hur etik och företagande ska förhålla sig till varandra. Media har även, gång på gång, avslöjat många organisationers och ledares oetiska aktiviteter.Detta ovannämnda väcker flera intressanta frågeställningar, varav en handlar om att söka efter en definition beträffande det etiska ledarskapet. Denna frågeställning har legat till grund för vår uppsats.

Denna uppsats behandlar svenska börsnoterade fastighetsbolags tillvägagångssätt att värdera sitt fastighetsbestånd. Både när det kommer till metod och typ av värdering (graden av intern kontra extern).Vidare undersöks faktorer som står till grund för dessa och hur företagens värdering har förändrats sen en kortare tid tillbaka.Uppsatsen kombinerar analyser av finansiella årsredovisningar från svenska börsnoterade fastighetsbolag med ett par kvalitativa intervjuer med några av de högst respekterade och uppsatta personerna i fastighetsvärlden.Analyserna visar på att en majoritet av fastighetsbolagen använder en hög grad extern värdering tillsammans med avkastningsbaserade värderingsmetoder. Även en förändring av fördelningen mellan intern och extern värdering under de senaste fyra åren konstateras och reflekteras över.I intervjuerna jämförs bland annat interna och externa värderingars riktighet och trovärderighet ur två väldigt olika perspektiv. Här tas även problematik upp och skillnader i teori och praktik..

I en tid där hållbar utveckling nått stor genomslagskraft världen över samtidigt som en allt större kritik växt fram mot hållbarhetsbegreppets potential har syftet med den här uppsatsen varit att försöka utmana den kritiken. Forskare menar att begreppet är vagt och saknar innebörd (Davidson 2010), att de tre dimensionerna av hållbarhet tenderar att resultera i ekologi och miljötekniska lösningar (Vallance m fl. 2012), samt att begreppet gett upphov till en allmän definition som är svår att ifrågasätta (Swyngedouw 2010). För att besvara studiens syfte och frågeställningar har Norra Djurgårdsstaden valts som fall och kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med tjänstemän på Stockholms stad, byggherrar och boende i området. Undersökningen har kunnat konstatera att projektet Norra Djurgårdsstaden både kunnat bekräfta och utmana kritiken mot hållbarhetsbegreppet.
