AbstractPurpose: The purpose of this study was to see if there was any correlation between BMI and chronic pain among participants who underwent a behavioural medicine rehabilitation program at a pain clinic in the central part of Sweden. Method: The study was conducted as a quantitative descriptive study context and has used medical records with documented data from the participants who were part of a pain clinic rehabilitation programs in the years 2004-2005. Altogether there were 76 participants in these years and excluded was nine participants with BMI measurements were not included in the documentation. Main Results: Regarding the relationship between BMI and chronic pain there was no significant relationships. Participants who completed the behavioural medicine rehabilitation program, however, showed a lower value of BMI and the estimated pain in VAS from the first to the third which is the last time of measuring.

AimThe aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of MotVikt´s obesity-treatment program on eight severely obese subjects, concerning Body Mass Index, Waist-Circumference and Weight after three and a half months and Sense of Coherence, Body Image and Self-experienced Health after three months. The question in focus was: Did MotVikt´s obesity-treatment program have any effects concerning the factors mentioned above?MetodInformation was collected with questionnaires that were filled out by the eight subjects, three men and five women, who participated in MotVikt´s last round of treatment. Data concerning waist-circumference, weight and BMI were provided by MotVikt. The questionnaires that were used to get information about Sense of Coherence, Body Image and Self-Experienced health were SOC-29, BSQ and IQOLA SF-36.ResultatThe average BMI in the group has decreased with 2,9 kg/m2, from 39,7 till 36,8.

In this degree project we wanted to investigate if there are any possibilities to get a higher income from grain growing by giving the grain to hens instead of selling it. We were also wondering if the manure has any value or if it only cost the egg producer money. If the egg producer cultivate his own grain and is able to store it in layer is there quite much money to earn. Expensive pasture makes it profitability to pay up to 1,35 Swedish crowns for a kilo of wheat. In our calculating we?ve used calculation from the company Lantmännen.

Several reports and scientific research have shown that unemployment affectshealth negatively and that it is the young unemployed who suffer the most. Despitethis, there were not many evaluated labour market programs for young peoplefocusing both on how the labour market programs affect the job status and health,most of them were only focused on job status. Since there were not manycompilations in that direction, the essay is intended to describe the variousprograms and their impact on both job status and health. A literature-based studyhas been conducted and 15 articles have been reviewed and compiled into variouscategories using a content analysis. Detta examensarbete utfördes på ABB Power Technologies i Ludvika med syfte att förenkla tillverkningen av märkskyltar till mättransformatorer.Tidigare utformades alla skyltar för hand i Excel utifrån data från ett beräkningsprogram. Det gjorde att det behövdes en mall för varje variant i varje språk vilket ledde till väldigt många mallar. På ABB ville man både komma ifrån mängden olika mallar och det tidskrävande handarbetet som dessutom kunde resultera i att skyltarna inte fick enhetligt utseende. Genom att göra ett program som automatiskt genererar skyltarna utifrån en standardmall med hjälp av en fil från beräkningsprogrammet sparas mycket tid och arbete. Den som utformar skylten behöver då bara lägga till några få data själv och kan välja språk direkt i programmet istället för att behöva skriva allt för hand.Resultatet av detta examensarbete blev ett program som används av ABB för att göra skyltar till nästan alla mättransformatorer..

This is a television series, where through the TV screen; we have the possibility to view ordinary people in their daily lives and often dramatic work.

According to the Board of Forestry, in Västerbotten, many natural regenerations of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) carried out on privately owned forest in the middle of 1990 in Västerbotten have rendered a bad regeneration outcome and will provide a low future forest production. The Board of Forestry believes that the negative result can be explained by the fact that the regeneration has been carried out in wrong locations and that scarification failed to work as planned. In order for an accepted rate of regeneration the guidelines of the Forrest Act require, not less than 10 years after final cutting at natural regeneration, that there should be at least 1300 (site indices 16 m) - 1700 (site indices 20 m) main crop stems per hectare. Main crop stems are defined as stems according to the place of growth and appropriate tree type, in addition with regard to quality, stage of development and damage risk have a prospect of succeeding. In addition main crop stems should be separated by surface so that the proportion sample plots with 3 meters radius, and lack main crop stems, are not more than 10 % of site indices 14 meters or higher.

The purpose of this study was to examine participants' experiences and descriptions of a municipal activation program, and how participants perceive their opportunities for influence on their own needs and requirements. The results are based on statements from six semi-structured, individual interviews conducted by the qualitative method. Empowerment, paternalism and social capital are among the study's theoretical frame of reference. The main results show that more participants are critical of aspects of coercion and involuntary willingness in participation. Motivation for participation seems to mainly be linked to whether the activity is experienced as meaningful, as well as to the attitude of the staff.

På initiativ av Håkan Gerdin påbörjades utvecklingen av ett personaluthyrningsprogram, eftersom han en lång tid saknat ett program med denna specifika inriktning. Detta startade sommaren 2002 genom ett examensarbete med väl genomfört förarbete och utformning av programmets design. Programmet fick även namnet GOE!. Under hösten samma år gjordes ännu ett examensarbete som bestod av att realisera större delen av GOE!. Då det fortfarande saknades funktioner och manual erbjöd jag mig att göra delar av detta arbete som sedan inleddes i början av 2003.

I?ve had issues with these aspects in earlier project, the form or the program takes alot of place in the project. I haven?t tried this approach before, it?s an attractive thought to allow the project take a form of it?s own, enclosing those spaces i create.The initial concept was to place the pools on the ground (not digging them into the ground) making them volumes that divide and define spaces.
