Denna rapport bygger på den kommande solcellsfasaden på kvarteret Frodeparken i centrala Uppsala. Projektet genomförs genom ett partneringavtal mellan Skanska Sverige AB och Uppsalahem. Syftet med detta examensarbete var att skapa en underhållsplan samt en investeringskalkyl för projektet. En teknisk bakgrund för solcellsanläggningar har sammanställts för att förstå hur systemet fungerar. Underhållsplanen grundas på fakta från solcellsleverantören och uppgifter från referensobjekt. Det har visat sig att solcellsanläggningar kräver väldigt lite underhåll. För att få en bred syn på investeringen har ett antal simuleringar på investeringskalkylen genomförts.

The purpose with this report is to examine how the implemented energy efficiency measures on Bokelundskolan in Växjö have had impact on the energy use. The measures which have been implemented are, new ventilation system, new heating system, optimized adjustment of the heating system, new windows with U-value 1.2 and lower window height, insulation under windows and in the crawl space. The school's energy use before and after rebuilding has been calculated with the calculation program, Vip-Energy 1.5.5.Calculations of energy use for the school with windows on U-value, 0.9 and 0.7 have also been done. The replacement of windows has been studied from a cost perspective. The conclusion is that the exchange of heat and ventilation system was the biggest contributor to reduced energy use on Bokelundskolan.

Sweden has agreed to reduce its load of e.g. nitrogen to the Baltic Sea.One of the proposed measures is an increased use of site-specific N-fertilization, which hasbeen shown to increase nitrogen use efficiency and therefore also reduce the nitrogen runoff.Either yields are increased with the same total amount of nitrogen, or the total quantityof nitrogen is reduced with preserved yield levels, which is Profitable for the farmers.The dynamics of nitrogen leaching differs between top dressing applications above orbelow the economical optimum. There is a consensus about a difference in the dynamics,but not about its magnitude.

To support the profitability for the members' forestry the processing and handling with the timber has to be as efficient as possible. Increased length of pulpwood in thinning is one conduct that can result in higher productivity and/or lower costs. The study is scaled as a system analysis with the aim to exemplify the differences between working with 3- and 4-meter as standard length of pulpwood, related to biological aspects, timber receipts, cost of logging and cost of transportation with truck. The method for conducting the analysis is an ex ante cost-benefit analysis and the time period examined is between the days the education begins until retirement age. The soldering process accounts for a large part of the processing cost in the production of a heat pump.
