Due to the requirement for reduced use of insecticides and the lack of competitive mechanical plant protection, you need a scarification with good result. This is often no problem to perform in normal terrain without technical barriers. However, in difficult terrain with large number of rocks and steep slopes, the result would be worse. The purpose of the study is, that in these areas with difficult terrain, to find out the scarified areas quality, describe the non-scarified areas conditions and find out where the limit is for the use of a traditional disc trencher. Findings indicate that there are usually not the machine that is the limit, but the driver of this.

The purpose of this essay is to examine one of Sweden's oldest motorways in cityenvironment. The researched section is motorway E20 east of Gothenburg. AbstractThe importance of good construction planning affects the final costs of the production and the timing of the project. Planning for building projects has been studied with the aim of identifying how three week planning appears in the construction industry today.A case study has been conducted in Navisworks Simulate to assess whether the software is suitable to connect the task schedule with the BIM model to create a 4D model. 4D models are used for performing 4D construction simulation to visualize the project. In order to use the benefits of the model, investment in equipment and software is required. This means higher costs for the companies.

Discharge of inadequately treated waste water containing nutrients such as phosphorus and nitrogen as well as organic matter and bacteria is associated with a risk of eutrophication and contamination. The Swedish government has decided upon several Environmental Quality Objectives aiming to reduce the emissions of nutrients to water bodies.In Sweden, there are between 675 000 to 1 000 000 on-site sewage systems. Recent studies have shown that the function of small sewage treatment plants is in many cases insufficient. To prevent this regular service and supervision by a professional is needed. The focus of this study are small sewage treatment plants which use a technique where mechanical, chemical and/or biological reduction of pollutants is being used in the same facility to reduce nutrients in household wastewater.The aim of the study is to investigate how different municipalities ensure that small sewage treatment plants fulfill the requirements and reduce pollutants as efficient as the manufacturers claim.

Den bullerreducerande beläggnigen har en porös struktur som förbättrar dräneringen och reducerar buller vid källan men egenskaperna orsakar ett snabbt slitage och portäppning. Detta medför att beläggningen måste omläggas och rengöras oftare än en konventionell beläggning som t.ex. ABS 16. Kritiken mot den bullerreducerande beläggningen riktar sig på de höga drift- och underhållskostnaderna, detta gör att många väghållaren satsar på bullerskärm som bulleråtgärd.  Syftet med arbetet är att jämföra bullerreducerande beläggning med bullerskärm, för att reda på vilken bulleråtgärd är mer kostnadseffektivt under 20 år. Ett teoriavsnitt kommer att förklara och beskriva på ett tekniskt sätt: väg, ljud och buller, bullerskärm och bullerreducerande beläggningar.Kostnadsjämförelsen mellan bulleråtgärderna omfattar investering, drift och underhåll.

The European Water Framework Directive (WFD; 2000/60/EC) was incorporated into the Swedish legislation in 2004 through the ordinance Förordningen om förvaltningenav kvaliteten på vattenmiljön (SFS 2004:660). The objective is that all water bodies shall reach a good status by the year 2015. In Sweden the comprehensive plans of the municipalities can play a large role in reaching these goals. A comprehensive plan deals with the long term water and land use of the municipality, which can facilitate an early consideration of water management in the planning process of the municipality. In Sweden five river basin districts have been established in accordance with the Water Framework Directive.

Ett moment i kvalitetsarbetet för komplexa industriprodukter, som till exempel flygplan, är att skifta från tvådimensionellt konstruktionsunderlag till tredimensionellt. Tredimensionella modeller har funnits i flera år. Nackdelen med dessa modeller är att de inte kunnat bära någon extra information, förutom den information som krävs för att de ska vara uppritade. Tekniken har gått framåt och nu går det att lagra teknikinformation i modellerna samt göra simuleringar som inte gått att göra förut.

The purpose of the study was to find out how Swedbank Insurance view of health characterizes wellness work at the company. It was a qualitative study in which five persons involved in their health and wellness work were interviewed. Their business plan was based generally on the basis of the biomedical approach, but the results proved otherwise.
