Profilering av Södertörns Högskola : Studenternas inställning till lärosätets marknadskommunikation
Either if you are a company or a state owned organization, in our case Sodertorn University collage, it is very highly demanded and needed that there is a well-defined definition of the area you perform in. It is also highly recommended that you have an accurate and informal Profile of the type of company you are and that you have an effective communication to your surroundings, so that they can perceive it the way the company wishes mediate the message. In this essay we have tried to explain the kind of Profile Sodertorn University collage has, and how its current students perceive this profiling strategy.Sodertorn University collage Profiles itself through three significant areas: the school claim themselves to be multicultural, multiscientific in an aspect when it comes to courses and programs, and as a school with an ambition to educate and form more critical thinking students. This has become Sodertorn University collages trademark and is quite significant for the school, something that we have examined in our survey among the current students. What we will examine in our essay will only be the two first mentioned components, multicultural and multiscientific programs and courses.We have also had the intention to do a comparison with an earlier essay from 1997 made by two economics students, and put our results in contrast to the earlier results since there were no previous research after this one.

The strategy when you change the visual part of the brand identity is often referred to as Corporate rebranding and is seen as a good way to show that a company has undergone a change. Despite high risks and high costs, this strategy has become more common and there are companies today who make the choice to change an already well-known graphic Profile. This phenomenon is what underlies this essay?s problem statement: Why does a company with an already well-known graphic Profile choose to change it and how does the process behind the change occur? In what way have the company?s customers recognized the change and how has the company?s image changed in this context? The purpose of this essay is therefore to explore the process that occurs when a company in the sport and fashion industry changes its visual identity and to explore how the company?s customers have perceived the change.To fulfil the purpose of the essay a case study was carried out on a company?s Corporate rebranding process. The company that was chosen was the Swedish sports retail chain Stadium Sweden AB who decided to change its graphic Profile even though their logo was one of the two most recognized in their field.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine the discourses about Malmö public library that can be identified in several documents published by the library, articles, and various WebPages. Furthermore, our intention is to study the relation between the library?s identity, image and Profile. The questions posed in the study are: Which identity discourses are Malmö public library giving expression for? What kind of conflicts between these discourses can we find? How is the identity, image and Profile of the library in relation to one another? How does Malmö public library Profile and market itself as a non-profit organization? Our theoretical and methodological building ground is in the discourse analytical field, with Enesto Laclau?s and Chantal Mouffe?s theories about discourse and society, as a starting-point.
ELVEEL - grafisk identitet till klädmärke
In my project I have collaborated with Linda Larson, who is the creator behind the fashion brand Elveel. The goal was to produce an identity and a graphic Profile for Elveel. The aim was that the graphic Profile would act as an extension of the clothes aesthetics. I wanted to explore if I by different folding and cutting techniques, in tags and packaging, could reflect the details of the clothes expression. But also how different design elements can reflect the story behind the clothes.

Målet var att skapa en profil som passade en bred målgrupp och förmedlade den känslan Östersjöfestivalen ger till besökarna. Vi presenterar hur det har varit att arbeta med en kommun som klient, hur det har varit att skapa en interaktiv webbapplikation med funktioner som sammanfogar en karta med en gästbok, samt hur det har varit att producera något som kommer synas av en stor publik. Utöver detta reflekterar vi över denna process och ger våra tankar och åsikter om projektets gång. The EU-funded project European Cultural Heritage Online (ECHO) aims to integrateresources from various domains within the field of cultural heritage, and make them availableon the Internet. To accomplish this integration it is necessary to describe the various resourcesin a way that will achieve cross-domain interoperability. This description of digital resourcesis commonly referred to as metadata. The most well known and used metadata standard is theDublin Core Metadata Element Set, a general standard developed for the purpose ofdescribing all types of digital resources. Since the mid-1990's a large number of specializedstandards have emerged in different communities, for example IMDI, designed for detaileddescription of language resources.This thesis aims to examine the possibility of combining a general and a specialized metadatastandard to achieve cross-domain interoperability and at the same time provide a sufficientlydetailed description of language resources for researchers within the field of linguistics.

What does the Swedish church Västerås stand for today according to the employees and how do they want to Profile themselves to the target group? What image and what expectations does the target group have of the Swedish church Västerås? How can the Swedish church Västerås communicate uniform, with the intent to create mutual value with the target group?The purpose of the study is to make recommendations to the Swedish church Västerås for their prospective communication plan by examining their Profile and target group's image and expectations of the organization. The study also aims to examine how the Swedish church Västerås can communicate their brand uniform.The study applies a qualitative research with deductive approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with a sample of the employees and focus groups with a sample of the target group.Better match between Profile and image means that SkVs employees better understand the organization and can communicate more uniform which leads to a stronger brand identity. If SkV understands what is relevant for their target group, they can reduce the total cost of customer delivered value and thus increase the total value.

An independent school is according to the National Agency a school that has a different principal than the county or municipality. An independent school can be driven by an association, foundation or company and to run an independent school requires a permit from the Education Department.The purpose of this paper is to see how four principals at independent schools with a Muslim Profile are working to strengthen their students? One step towards a more sustainable energy system is to create a more flexible electrical grid, where increased demand response among electricity consumers can play an important role. A distribution grid owner can encourage their customers to use electricity more evenly distributed during the day by introducing different types of grid fees such as time-differentiated power tariffs. In this master thesis, the theoretical economic impact of a flattened load Profile for a distribution grid owner is investigated. Different factors that impact the distribution grid owner?s economy are identified and two are chosen to be quantified; losses in the grid and the fee to the feeding grid.

This degree project investigatesthe reproduction?s effect on the final print result.A test print is done at Quebecor World Nordic Interprint´s regular print unit. The evaluation of theprint shows how important the use of a unit adjusted ICC-Profile is for the print quality. A comparisonbetween the two separation methods GCR and UCR shows that Interprint´s present ICC-Profile, usingUCR as separation method, gives less missing dots.

AimOur aim with this study was to examine how outdoor education is designed and experienced in three upper (senior) levels of compulsory school in Stockholm, and to compare it with the Norwegian equivalence.MethodOur method has been interviews with ten teachers, of whom six are Swedish teachers and four are Norwegian teachers. Two Swedish teachers are teaching in other subjects than Physical Education, four are teachers in Physical Education, two are teachers in Norway in Physical Education at and two are teachers in Norway at university level. Questionnaires were used to examine the Swedish pupils? attitudes towards outdoor education. 90 questionnaires were delivered, and 70 answered them.
