UGL-courses (Understanding Group and Leader), given in Sweden since the beginning of 1980, are a frequently used leadership course in all sectors of the working life. This essay purpose was to compare course members experienced benefit between two educational organizers. No earlier studies in the subject where to be found. The method chosen was quantitative. In this thesis I have discussed about conflict management in school, from a teacher´s perspective. Focus has been on Swedish schools, especially on the teachers who are active in primary school. Several perspectives have been given, including an intercultural approach which has been the most recurrent. The aim of this study was to illuminate critical factors that facilitate respectively obstruct the novice nurse's development during her first year in the profession. Overweight and obesity in children is an extensive and accelerating problem in the western world. The risk factors for overweight are well- known and well-documented. Focus should lie in the prophylactic work in order to prevent overweight and obesity in preschool children. The aim of our study has been to highlight the role of the district nurse in her/his work to prevent overweight and obesity in preschool children. The study was carried out through studies as a literature review.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka förskollärarnas roll under barns fria lek i förskolan och förskoleklass samt vilken respons barnen får av förskollärarna under den fria leken. (hur barnen blir uppmuntrande av förskollärarna under den fria leken). En kvalitativ metodologisk ansats i form av totalt åtta observationer och fyra semistrukturerade intervjuer användes. Resultaten visade att samtliga förskollärare tyckte att den fria leken är den centrala delen i barns liv. Observationerna visade att det är betydelsefullt att vuxna finns i närheten av barns fria lek, för att förskolläraren ser vad barnen gör och vilka material de använder i sina fria lekar.

Sammanfattning  Det finns många definitioner av vad yrket controller innebär, vilket visar att yrkestiteln är svårdefinierad. Syftet med studien är att beskriva controllerns arbetsroll i medelstora tillverkande privata företag och om controllerns roll fokuserar mer mot styrorienterade uppgifter eller mer mot traditionella ekonomiuppgifter. Vi utformade därför följande frågeställning: Är dagens controller i tillverkande företag mer styrorienterad eller mer en traditionell ekonomichef? Vi valde att genomföra en kvalitativ studie eftersom det möjliggör en djupare förståelse och sedan använde vi oss av en deduktiv ansats där vi gick från teori till empiri. I vår teoretiska referensram har vi beskrivit olika egenskaper, färdigheter, roller och arbetssätt som ingår i controllerns yrke.

There is an increasing demand for information literacy, which is mirrored in curriculum throughout the whole educational system. This, in turn, has brought forward a growing need for librarians who can teach. But do librarians possess pedagogical competence, and if they do, how is this ability used in everyday library practice? The aim of this study is to investigate librarians' conceptions of the pedagogical role, as it is expressed in their didactic interaction with the users. The research questions focus on librarians' experiences of teaching information seeking and use and their activities in this respect.

In the last couple of years changes in the legal systems treatment of young offenders has given the social worker more legal responsibility. In view of this, our purpose with this study was to examine how social workers and prosecutors apprehend the role of the social worker during the legal process. The study was delimited to look into the handling of young offenders between the ages of 15 and 18 years old. The questions we intended to look at were: How do the social workers reason when trying to see the need of a child within a legal context; Do prosecutors and social workers experience that they have different approaches when looking at young offenders, as a consequence of their different professions; What is the opinion among social workers considering the duty of the social services to administrate community service for young offenders; How do the social workers argue when determining whether or not a young offender has a "special need for care". These questions were answered through empirical studies where six social workers and two prosecutors were interviewed.

Som en del av sjuksköterskans arbete, är rökavvänjningsåtgärder en viktig del. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att få ökad kunskap om sjuksköterskan roll vid rökavvänjning av patienter med ett sjukdomstillstånd. Metoden som användes var systematisk litteraturstudie, baserad på fem kvantitativa artiklar. Resultatet blev de sex gemensamma faktorerna som har betydelse vid sjuksköterskans tobaksinterventioner: Resurser, Erfarenhet, Uppföljning, Motivation, Tidsbrist och Sjuksköterskans egna tobaksvanor. Slutsats: Det finns en stor grupp patienter som inte är motiverade att sluta röka och därför får minst hjälp. Det är just denna grupp som behöver mycket mer hjälpinsatser och information kring rökningens effekter, för att kunna finna motivation till att sluta röka..

Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka huruvida ett gott anseende spelar någon roll för företag vid en kris, och om det goda anseendet i så fall innebär en bättre grund att stå på när företag drabbas av en kris. Även på vilket sätt anseendet spelar roll kommer att analyseras. Slutligen kommer vi även att försöka komma fram till hur företag i så fall kan arbeta med sitt anseende för att vara bättre rustade inför en kris. In 2010 mandatory audit was revoked for small and medium sized companies in Sweden. At the same time the authorization for accounting consultants was established with the aim of raising the knowledge and status of the profession. Even though The Swedish Companies Registration Office has discovered more errors in the accounting after the mandatory audit was eliminated, it especially concerns those companies who does not have neither an auditor or an accounting consultant. One of the reasons often mentioned to be audited is the auditors role when it comes to lending decisions. Our empirical studie show that the auditors most important function, being unbiased, is not what is of greatest importance for the credit institutions.Instead it was professional skills, and for small and medium enterprises (SME) it was consulting they requested the most.

Undersökningen fokuserar på hur lärare påverkar elevers motivation. Vi har fördjupat oss i hur medvetna de intervjuade lärarna är när det gäller vikten av att motivera eleverna. Vi vill även ta reda på hur de intervjuade lärarna arbetar med att bygga upp motivation hos elever. Dessutom vill vi undersöka hur viktig roll lärare har när det gäller elevernas motivation. Undersökningen baseras på semistrukturerade intervjuer. Sex stycken yrkesverksamma lärare på tre olika skolor intervjuades till denna studie.
