This Master's thesis concerns the professional knowledge of the librarian. The image of this knowledge is regarded as constructed in a social context, which is why the discourse analytic approach is selected as method. The empirical material consists of two texts concerning the education of librarians. A theory of knowledge, emanating from Aristotle, is applied to the results to find examples of the forms of knowledge that are excluded from the discourse. A number of themes, or ways, in which it is possible to discuss the phenomenon of the librarian's knowledge, are identified in the texts.

Studiens syfte var att utifrån ett professions perspektiv, undersöka samverkan mellan idrottslärare och sjukgymnaster, i förhållande till idrottsundervisning för elever med funktionsnedsättning. Syftet var också att belysa vilka konsekvenser denna samverkan har för elevers delaktighet i ämnet idrott och hälsa enligt idrottslärare och sjukgymnaster.  Kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med fem idrottslärare och fem sjukgymnaster. Intervjuerna transkriberades, analyserades innehållsmässigt och kategoriserades. Bearbetningen mynnade ut i 15 teman som beskriver idrottslärarnas respektive sjukgymnasternas subjektiva uppfattningar om idrottsundervisning för elever med funktionsnedsättning, om respektive profession uppdrag/förväntningar samt om samverkan mellan idrottslärare och sjukgymnast.

I vårt examensarbete har vi valt att fördjupa oss i yrkesidentitet bland studie- och yrkesvägledare som arbetar som arbetsförmedlare. Vi har även valt att titta på dessa personers syn på vikten av en yrkestitel samt eventuella grupperingar inom en organisation, i detta fall Arbetsförmedlingen där utbildningsbakgrunden hos de anställda är av varierande karaktär. Forskning gällande studie- och yrkesvägledares yrkesidentitet utanför det obligatoriska skolväsendet upplever vi vara eftersatt och därför har denna studie tagit form. Vi har genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med sex studie- och yrkesvägledare som arbetar på Arbetsförmedlingen och därmed inte längre kallas för studie- och yrkesvägledare. För att få svar på tyngden av vår blivande profession har vi valt att även intervjua fackliga representanter på central nivå samt företrädare för studie- och yrkesvägledarnas egen intresseorganisation. Det empiriska materialet har vi sedan valt att analysera utifrån teorier gällande just yrkesidentitet men även riktningar inom professionsforskning samt teorier gällande grupper förekommer.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka inre arbetsmotivation och arbetstillfredsställelse genom att se vilket motivationsbehov och vilken typ av arbetstillfredsställelse som skattades högst. Syftet var även att undersöka vilka motivationsbehov som bäst predicerar inre och yttre arbetstillfredsställelse. Studien genomfördes inom äldreomsorgenen i en mindre kommun i Sverige. 80 personer deltog i studien som genomfördes som en enkätundersökning. Mätinstrumenten som användes var Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) och Basic Need of Satisfaction at work Scale (BNS).

This paper is grounded in the previous research that indicated that involuntary childless women feels stigmatized and outside society. The purpose of this paper was to find out how the feeling of being an outsider and a stigmatized person is created and takes form in the category involuntary childless women. I asked the questions; -In what parts of the interviewed women?s answers indicates that they are outsiders and stigmatized? ?Who is creating the stigma and the outsiderness and how is it created? I answered these questions by interviewing six women in the ages of 28-40, who all had undergone In vitro fertilization-treatment and lived in heterosexual relationships. I used Erving Goffmans theory about stigma and Howard Beckers theory about outsiders to analyse the empiric data.

För hälsoarbetet är kosten en av de viktigaste faktorerna för att motverka övervikt ochfetma. Vanor skapas redan i tidig ålder, vilket gör det väsentligt med hälsofrämjandearbete riktat mot unga individer för att på lång sikt gynna folkhälsan. Vidbeteendeförändring är det centralt att se till individers motivation då det påverkarbeteendets utfall. Self-determination Theory (SDT) är en beprövad teori som använtsinom ett flertal domäner för beteendeförändring och som visat sig användbar även ur etthälsoperspektiv. Av tidigare forskning inom SDT har få studier fokuserat på kost ochingen tidigare studie har specifikt applicerats på motivation till att äta grönsaker.

? Does Karlstad municipality have adequate institutional conditions to make the best use ofthe citizens? proposals??The purpose with the thesis is to investigate if citizens? proposals lead to a broader politicalinfluence. To answer that, I have done a case study about how Karlstad municipal administers citizens? proposals. The research assignment is: Does Karlstad municipal have adequate institutional conditions to make the best use of the citizens? proposals? The perspective is a democracy perspective and the theory is institutional theory and policy process theory.A selection of citizens? proposals that have arrived to Karlstad municipal between 2008 and 2010 have been studied in detail to analyze how the proposals have been administered and if it matters how the proposals are phrased.

Recently, the IASB and the FASB initiated a joint project to determine which companies that could be defined as investment entities and thus subject to an exception from IFRS 10 Consolidated Financial Statements. The first draft, ED/2011/4 Investment Entities, was published in 2011 and included six criteria that a company must meet in order to be classified as an investment entity. Based on academic theory, the fact that the IASB and the FASB published a joint proposal is interesting for several reasons. Traditional accounting theory tends to distinguish between two different approaches in standard setting: principles- and rules-based. The IASB is considered to have a principles-based approach, while the FASB is considered to have a rules-based approach.

Uppsatsen handlar om huruvida sociologin fortfarande är relevant när ekonomivetenskapen breddar sitt studiefält till att inte längre vara självklart ekonomisk utan också ställa frågor som traditionellt legat på sociologins bord. Genom en teoretisk analys av statistiska resultat angående användandet av inköpslista i samband med matvaruinköp undersöker uppsatsen huruvida ekonomins klassiska handlingsteori, rational choice, och dess antaganden om homo economicus är tillräckligt för att förklara de resultat som uppkommer. Jürgen Habermas teori om kommunikativt handlande, och Webers handlingsteori används som exempel på utpräglat sociologiska handlingsteorier vars förklaringsförmåga av de uppkomna resultaten jämförs med rational choice theory. Arbetet visar hur ekonomivetenskapen i sin strävan att bredda sitt studiefält behöver ifrågasätta vissa klassiska antaganden, något som under senare årtionden har inträffat, och att sociologin kan ge förklaringar där klassisk ekonomisk teori faller kort..

Sense of coherence, SOC, is a way to study health and wellbeing in a salutogen perspective. SOC is a theory that Aaron Antonovsky came up with and it involves three elements; comprehensibility, manageability and meaningfulness. These three elements is a objective way to look at our existence. The aim of this study was to examine how high the pupils sense of coherence was in the grades 1, 3 and 6 in a school in Karlstad. And with the result as starting point have a discussion around the pedagogical consequences and which educational work procedures we can use to work with SOC in school.

In order for companies to be competetive on the market, there?s a need of capital. If a company is in a need of capital to make major investments and isn?t able to prioritize internal funding, the priority will be external financing with safe securities; loans. How companies should prioritize the allocation between equity and debt, which together form value, leads us to the subject of capital structure.

In the Swedish Curriculum (Lpfö 1998, revised 2010) pedagogogical documentation constitute a big part. It is important that the childrens development and learning are documentated properly, both for the child itself, but also as an quality review and evaluation of the work that is made at the Preschool.In this study we have examined preschool teacher?s attitudes towards pedagogical documentation and how they work with it and use it in the daily work at the Preschool.We have also examined their own abilities to implement pedagogical documentation. For whom is the documentation made for? We also wanted to see if the children had any opportunity to influence the work.We have used a qualitative method and our study is based on six semi-structured interviews with six preschool teachers.

Abstract in EnglishElsa Grave (1918-2003) is a Swedish writer, artist and composer. The aim of my study is to analyse the female character in Mödrar som vargar, (Mothers As Wolves), which is a collection of poems written in 1972.The analysis is divided into four parts. First I analyse the figures of speech of the female ?I? in the poems. In the second part I`m dealing with how she acts and relates to men.

The aim of this paper is to apply Robert N. Bellahs theory of civil religion, within a Swedish societal context. Bellahs theory was designed in, and influenced by American culture. Therefore, the ?translation? of Bellahs theory does not come without problems.

The aim of this study was to explore whether the patients? expectations of physiotherapy correspond with the physiotherapists? view of their own professional role. Two separate questionnaires were used, one to the patients and one to the physiotherapists, which questions were able to compare. Totally 41 patients and 6 physiotherapists answered the questionnaires. The low number of answers from the physiotherapists made it impossible to fulfil the purpose.
