In the beginning of the 1860s, an important railway was built between Malmö and Stockholm. The railway became one of the most important projects that would influence the entire southern Sweden. The railway line was located to areas outside the ordinary routes and a number of communities were built up along its way.Älmhult was one of the communities that was built up due to the railway. In the beginning there were only a few farms and a station, but a community developed and the village grew. In 1901 the village became a small market town, which was an important event.

Tiden då en bra produkt sålde sig själv är över. Forskare är överens om att det ökade utbudet av produkter i dagens samhälle har medfört att företagens utmaning numera ligger i att differentiera likartade produkter genom att förvandla dessa till ett koncept eller en livsstil. Värderingar och känslor som ett visst företag symboliserar har blivit viktiga element i denna differentiering. Varumärken är numera mer än bara ett namn och en logotyp och människor konsumerar inte längre en produkt utan ett varumärke och allt vad det står för. Varumärkesbyggande har med andra ord blivit en viktig konkurrensfaktor.

Att fastställa en strategi ? det är fokus för denna uppsats. För företag i en starkt föränderlig bransch blir långsiktig fokusering mycket betydelsefullt. Med denna uppsats ämnar vi skapa förståelse för reklambranschens utveckling och framtida krav för att utgöra underlag för en strategiutformning för framtidens byrå - vi vill identifiera marknadschefens bästa vän i framtiden. För att möjliggöra detta har vi utgått från följande tre nyckelområden: Det första berör den produkt som marknadchefen kommer att efterfråga för att tillgodose sina krav på kommunikation i framtiden. Det andra området berör den typ av relation och det arbetssätt som marknadschefen önskar att sin byrå präglas av.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the primary motivation for studying abroad among students at Södertörn University, and also examine how the time studying abroad will affect the students on a personal level. The essay is based on a qualitative approach of ten interviews with students who have already completed an exchange program. With the help of the theoretical concepts of push and pull factors, motivation categories, human capital and previous research, the results and analysis showed a coherent pattern. It turns out that the majorities of students are primarily motivated by the opportunity to enjoy a nice nature, new environment and get to know new people. The time studying abroad mostly contributed to the student?s personal development and also gave an understanding of other people and different cultures.

The aim is toanalyse in what way these influences have changed during thegrowth and development of the public library system and how it isdisplayed in each separate library branch. The focus of myinvestigation has been the municipality public libraries in Vienna,and mainly the three libraries in the third district of the city. Themethod I have used is literature studies, examining and analysingsource material from the internal archive of the public libraries inVienna. I have also used the qualitative interview method in orderto examine the situation in the selected libraries Rabengasse,Erdbergstraße and Fasangasse.As there is no common library law, there are significantdifferences in the library structure in different parts of Austria andeach municipality decides how they want to prioritize the libraries.Since the public libraries of Vienna are well organized together inBüchereien Wien, the library structure in the separate librarybranches is coordinated.

I Samband med detta har det marknadsorienterade partiet upptäckts framträda, ett parti som inte längre är knutet till sina ideologiska värderingar utan strävar efter att tillfredställa marknadens önskningar och behov (Strömbäck, 2009, s.228; Lilleker & Lees- Marshment, 2005, s. 1).Syftet med denna studie är att, utifrån teorin om politikens marknadsorientering, undersöka hur de svenska riksdagspartiernas ideologiska värderingar och aktuella sakfrågor är närvarade i de politiska tv-reklamerna från valrörelsen 2010. Vi undersöker hur partiernas ideologiska värderingar kommer till uttryck och i vilken utsträckning reklamfilmerna fokuserar på ideologiska värderingar respektive aktuella sakfrågor. Vi studerar även hur kopplingen ser ut mellan de aktuella sakfrågor som lyfts fram och de ideologiska värderingarna.

Purpose: The purpose of the essay is to result in recommendations for how non-profit organizations work with signing new and keeping existing donors can be improved.Methology: The thesis has a hermeneutic view. It does not have the intention to lead to generalizations, although the result could lead to new knowledge, increased  understanding and deepened insight based on well thought-out interpretations. Furthermore, the thesis has a deductive approach. The research method is qualitative and the objectivity has been sustained by not enter personal values and views until the discussion section. It is a case study and semi-structured interviews have been done with two non-profit organizations, two individual donors and three donating/sponsoring companies.Theoretical perspective: The essay proceed from theories in development, fundraising, communication and customer relations.

This thesis deals with the problems you face as a new game developer for the mobile platform Android when developing a 3D game and presents solutions to these problems. It also explores which optimizations should be made to increase performance and how well suited for game development the Android platform is. A simple 3D game for version 2.2 of Android was developed to examine this. The conclusion was that a good game structure for Android separates logic and rendering by running these separately in different threads. Solutions to rendering and updating of game logic were presented and optimizations were implemented for performance, although fewer optimizations were needed than was anticipated.

AimThe aim of this study has been to examine how health enhancement teachers in Montana, USA, view the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.In what way does the health enhancement teacher think the importance of physical activity from a lifelong perspective could be presented?What resources are available for teachers to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective?MethodThe issue has been answered through qualitative interviews consisting of six health enhancement teachers, four women and two men, in Montana, USA. One of the teachers worked at an elementary school (for 30 years), three teachers worked at middle schools (20, 10 and 8 years of work experience) and two of the teachers interviewed worked at a high school (30 and 3 years).  ResultsThe majority of teachers feel that a wide variety of activities, adapted to an individual level, and the understanding of a healthy lifestyle are important in order for the teacher to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.The teachers felt they had sufficient material in order to present the value of physical activity, where the school budget provided the teachers with materials every year. In addition to the budget, all the teachers had 12 hours of professional development every year where they could attend conferences or their own choice of professional development.ConclusionWith the help in forms of professional development offered by the school, conferences, meeting with other teachers, and their own choice of development, the teachers instruction techniques could increase which could help the teachers to find the pupils? interest for different kinds of physical activities.KeywordsPhysical education and health, physical activity, SOC, sense of coherence..

As companies grow, their need for computing power will increase, which traditionally resulted in companies having to invest in more IT resources. Now, with cloud computing, companies can easily hire computer power over the Internet, on-demand. Cloud computing offers a highly scalable environment where companies can store data and host their services. This paper employs a qualitative study with interviews and literature studies to explore opportunities and challenges associated with cloud computing from a system developer perspective. The aim of the paper is to find out how cloud computing changes the conditions for system development. The paper contributes with four different opportunities and challenges that the system developer must handle to succeed in the world of cloud computing.

Med spårbarhet avses i detta arbete förmågan att följa en produkts väg från råmaterial till färdig produkt genom hela tillverkningen. Syftet är att göra en förstudie på Ferruforms förutsättningar att utifrån dagens situation införa spårbarhet på tillverkade produkter. Litteraturstudier, intervjuer och studier av tillverkning på Ferruform och andra företag har genomförts för att samla in information. Teorier som beskrivits är bland annat Just-in-time (JIT), Kanban, spårbarhet och produktmärkning. Den spårbarhet som finns på Ferruform i olika sammanhang har beskrivits och utvärderats.

The purpose of this essay is to compare two investigationprojects /evaluationproject (BBICOHPeL) regarding theoretical anchoring and operationmethods. Important questions in our research has been: What from BBIC can be found in the OHPeL-project, what has become of the fundamentals in BBIC when they have been introduced into this new context, has the ecological development theory remained in the OHPeL-project, is it possible to say that the OHPeL-project is a further development, distortion or something completely different from BBIC. To find answers to our questions we have studied 17 protocols from evaluationmeetings in the OHPeL project. This led us to the results that BBIC in many ways are present in the project. There are also differences between the projects.
