This study focus on organizations transfer to cloud computing. Today many companies are shifting their attention towards cloud computing and the possibilities that it offers, with more flexibility and lower costs. Different kinds of cloud services, both for use by the individual and the large enterprise, are getting more popular. More and more organizations therefore decide to do the move to the cloud. There are several different strategies and many pieces of advice for these organizations to follow, but there?s not much research that have been conducted on this subject.

Denna rapport omfattar ett examensarbete på 22,5 poäng. Examensarbetet har utförts inom ämnet integrerad produktutveckling vid Högskolan i Skövde tillsammans med Jai Designpartner AB. Målet med arbetet var att utveckla ett fällbord som enkelt kan fällas ihop, ha en längre livslängd och lägre vikt än företagets tidigare fällbord. Samarbetet genererade ett fällbord som inte följer de generella principerna av infällning av bordsben. Resultatet blev ett fällbord med minimal klämrisk, med en längre livslängd då infällning av bordsbenet sker med en vridning och med en mindre vikt då ramverk kan elimineras..

Databases are an easy way of storing information kept together and accessible and can save time by finding the information easier. Cochleaimplant could be seen as a form of advanced hearing aid, this product consists of two parts, an external part that recieves sound and sends signals to the internal part through electromagnetism. The internal part is the implant itself and is surgically placed in to the cochlea. Örebro University hospital has just started working within the field of Cochleaimplants and are therefore in need of a database to store patient related information.The database problem was solved using Microsoft Access 2003 combined with the built-in support for Visual Basic, which is a sort of programming language. Intresset för sömlösa stålrör med stora ytterdiametrar i förhållande till tunna väggtjocklekar har ökat tillsammans med att högre hållfasthet i olika stålsorter tillkommit. Detta gör det möjligt att tillverka lättare, billigare och mer materialeffektiva stålprodukter med samma eller högre hållfasthet som tidigare.Denna nya utvecklingsriktning medför förändringar och utmaningar i en av företaget Ovakos produktionslinor i Rörverk 5 Hofors, vilket de har behov av att samarbeta med maskinkonstruktionsföretaget BEKAB för att utvärdera och utveckla.I Ovakos produktionslina i Rörverk 5 finns en del av ett asselvalsverk som kallas för "förreducerare". Denna del av asselvalsverket ser Ovako ett stort intresse i att utvärdera och utveckla för att bättre anpassas till den nya utvecklingsriktningen.  En känd utmaning hos förreduceraren sen tidigare är att den från början är framtagen för att reducera ner ett kvalitetsproblem hos rörprodukterna som kallas för trattbildning. Projektet fördjupar sig därför inom trattbildning för att bättre förstå grunden till förreducerarens nuvarande design för att därefter genomföra en redesign av förreduceraren.I en nulägesanalys av nuvarande förreducerare framkommer ett flertal olika produktionsutrustningsproblem med tillhörande kvalitetsproblem hos rörprodukterna. Projektet väljer därmed att fokusera på de produktionsutrustningsproblem som ger störst effekt för förreduceraren om de löstes.

Arbetets syfte är att tydliggöra och lyfta fram vikten av rörelse för barnets motoriska utveckling och dess inverkan på barnets inlärningsförmåga. Jag har utgått ifrån följande frågeställningar: Hur ser idrottslärarna på fördelningen av antalet undervisningstimmar i dagens skola? Är det så att aktiva barn har lättare för inlärning?Stämmer det att ökad fysisk aktivitet: * leder till bättre motorik? * ger piggare barn? * underlättar skolprestationer? Arbete inleds med en litteraturgenomgång där jag presenterar historiska aspekter vad gäller idrotten och bakgrundsfakta till barnens motoriska utveckling. Där finns också en presentation av undersökningar som visar på motorikens betydelse för barnen då det gäller inlärnig. Sedan följer min sammanställning av de enkäter som idrottslärarna svarat på.

2005 års årsredovisningar är de första som är anpassade efter att en ny redovisningsstandard, IFRS 3, infördes. IFRS 3 är utvecklad av IASB och har bl a medfört en förändring i redovisningen av goodwill.Författarna ämnar undersöka vilka effekter införandet av IFRS 3 har haft på redovisningen av goodwill och vilka tendenser i redovisningen som går att utläsa i 2005 års årsredovisningar i jämförelse med år 2004. En kvantitativ undersökning av 31 börsnoterade koncerners årsredovisningar har genomförts. Som ett komplement till denna undersökning har två personer med kunskap om redovisning intervjuats.Som teoriunderlag används teorin om informationsasymmetri, den Föreställningsram för Förberedelse och Presentation av Finansiell Information som används av i IASB, IFRS 3 samt IAS 36.Undersökningen har visat att kostnaden för goodwill har minskat väsentligt 2005 jämfört med 2004 samt att det finns en risk för att internt upparbetad goodwill kommer att redovisas då goodwill värderas enligt de nya reglerna, vilket är i konflikt med IAS 38..

Efterfrågan på digital kartinformation ökar kraftigt. För en kartproducent räcker det inte alltid att bara förse användaren med en papperskopia. Istället efterfrågas ofta en digital kartbild där objekten är kopplade till en databas som användaren lätt kan uppdatera allteftersom informationen förändras. Målet med detta arbete var därför att hitta en metod att datalagra och visualisera stratigrafisk information. I detta arbete har information från gjorda borrningar och seismiska profiler från ett område i Södertälje kommun samlats in och strukturerats på ett sådant sätt att de kan användas i ett GIS-system.

AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.

The objective with the study was to evaluate what key persons at LFV Group (Luftfartsverket) think about-presented core values and their implementation within the company. Another objective of the study was to describe and compare the process of implementation of core values and how this affects organization culture at two selected reference companies. A qualitative method was applied in the form of semi-structured interviews with key persons at Luftfartsverket and the other reference companies.As the result a four-step program is proposed to describe the implementation process of core values: presentation, introduction, realization and follow-up. Within the implementation process it is possible to distinguish another process, which is based on core values, - introduction of new employees. This report details the development of an application for personal safety for the Android operating system. Android is a relatively new platform, primarily used on mobile phones.The purpose of the developed application is to give the user the possibility to easily and quickly alert a number of contacts by phone in case of emergencies, and to show the user?s location on a map. The purpose of this project was to design an adjustable gutter bracket for Lindab Profil AB. Lindab currently manufacture a gutter bracket that is adjustable in angle, however, this model has some drawbacks.  One of it´s shortcomings is that it is somewhat difficult for the customer to mount.  Another problem with Lindab?s current model is that the design makes manufacturing unnecessarily complex. The new gutter bracket, that we have constructed, does not have these problems. It is adjustable for different roof pitches.

Denna studie behandlar frågor om media, ideal och ungdomar. Media har stor betydelse i dagens samhälle och förmedlar bilder av utseendet som skapar olika ideal. Ungdomar är mer mottagliga för dessa ideal eftersom de befinner sig i en period i livet när de försöker finna sin egen stil. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur tv presenterar utseendet i de tv- program som ungdomar tittade på. Vi genomförde en mindre enkätundersökning som visade att ungdomarna såg mest på tv-programmen Idol 2005, Vänner och OC.

Den här uppsatsen speglar ett examensarbete för Färggrossen i Nybro. Ett nytt måleriverktyg, närmare bestämt en lackpensel tas fram för yrkesmålare.Fokus för projektet har legat på användarstudier med hjälp av yrkesmålarna Thomas Molin och Mikael Brandén. Studierna har börjat med observationer utav arbetsprocess och hantering av verktyg, därefter uppföljande tester av skissmodeller.Två serier med skissmodeller tas fram för användarstudier och följs sedan upp med en förprototyp som detaljutvärderas. Resultatet blir ett verktyg med vinklat skaft som ska skapa en flexibel pensel för många olika grepp..

Intranet is today a common technical groupware to communicate in many organisations. People can interact through the Intranet and communicate within the organization and get relevant information according to their workplace. It can be difficult to get everybody to use the Intranet as an information- and communication tool. This causes problems when people want to reach out with information. With these thoughts we entered our work at Luftfartsverket at Arlanda airport.
