The purpose of this paper is to analyze the project Knitting House using art and architectural theories to question the forms of the project as well as the town planning in the area of Husby, a suburb to Stockholm. In order to stress the architectural issues in the area of Husby, the thesis examines the aim and intention of the project Knitting House. The project explores the standardized architectural form that was used and built under the Miljonprogrammet, through the years of 1960-1970 in the neighborhoods of Järvafältet. The thesis will also investigate some of the problems that arise when attempting to discuss knitting as a method used to perform Knitting House. This paper explores the relationships between public and private spaces, the areas in between them and how they interact. The claim made throughout the thesis is that Knitting House can function as a political catalyst by presenting a combined perspective of art, architecture and politics to address the social and ethnic segregation in suburbs like Husby. .

Uppsatsens syfte är att analysera den mediala debatten kring konfessionella friskolor för att komma fram till hur diskursen kring de religiösa friskolorna konstrueras. Vilka teman är debatten uppbyggd kring, vilka utgångspunkter grundar sig den i och vilka begränsningar skapas det i talet om de religiösa friskolorna? Uppsatsen behandlar såväl olika syn på religion och dess betydelse, som integration, liberalistiska värden och hur makt skapas i samband med institutionaliserade diskurser. Vidare kan man genom debatten även utröna diskussioner om vilken funktion skolan bör ha, hur mycket statlig styrning som är önskvärd och hur intolerans egentligen ska definieras. Genom analysen uppmärksammas det svenska svenska samhället och de sekulariserade samt liberalistiska värden som styr möjligheterna att utala sig som de religiösa friskolorna. Denna uppsats behandlar ämnet religionsutövning i svenskt arbetsliv. Ämnet avhandlas dels utifrån perspektivet religionsfrihet som mänsklig rättighet, dels från perspektivet skydd och aktiva åtgärder mot diskriminering med religion som grund. Syftet är att göra en utredning i ämnet samt belysa frågan. Religionsfriheten stadgas i artikel 9 i Europakonventionen om de mänskliga rättigheterna och grundläggande friheterna. I have in this essay focused on the attitude towards the medieval muslims in swedish textbooks, in the subject of history from the years between 1954 and 2012. I have made an analysis on the discourse in the books and what they says about the muslims who lived before 1500 AD. The theory I have is a Postcolonial one from the authors Edward Said, Ania Loomba and Leela Gandhi. I have also analyzed the rhetorics the authors have used in every textbook. The results I have identified is that the attitude towards the muslims have changed during the years, from a generalizing view that says that the muslims were driven by the religion and that they were different from the Christian European society that existed during the same time.

The difference between the public sector and the private sector in Sweden was once very small. These sectors have been united as well for the people, the organizations as for the finances. During the 1960´s and 1970´s the public sector in Sweden was expanding and after the 1980´s the people started talking more about an expanding private sector instead. Begreppet kultkontinuitet används många gånger för att beskriva hur en ny religion övertar fenomen från en tidigare religion. I denna uppsats har den fornnordiska gudinnekultens kultkontinuitet undersökts i Svensk romansk kyrkokonst. Genom en tvärvetenskaplig litteraturstudie inom religionshistoria och konsthistoria som utmynnade i en bildanalys har symbolik framkommit som kunde anknytas till den fornnordiska gudinnekulten. Undersökningen visade att det förekommer en gudinnekultkontinuitet i en förändrad form. Symboliken är emellertid i många fall otydlig, och kan mer förstås genom vad jag benämner som en symbolisk anknytning; det vill säga även om symbolerna inte direkt går att anknyta till den fornnordiska symboliken, finns det attribut och egenskaper som kan relateras till de fornnordiska gudinnorna.

To create a more accessible environment for disabled people, the Swedish government, in the year of 2001, made the national act of easily eliminated obstacles valid. This national act states that all easily eliminated obstacles in the municipalities, in places and in premises that are public, shall be removed before the end of 2010, no matter if the owner of the place or premise is private or public. According to Boverket, most of the municipalities are not going to be able to reach that goal, why? The aim of this thesis is to compare the two municipalities Kalmar and Karlskrona in their way of implementing this national act, to see where it went wrong and why. By using implementation theories and qualitative empirical data in the form of interwievs with the total of eight people from different administrations in both of the municipalities, the subject was analyzed and discussed.

The purpose of this article is to describe the discourse in which public-private partnership (PPP) resides, within the Swedish parliament, in the field of infrastructure. I have chosen to look at the latest three years deliberation where PPP appears in parliament bills.This case study is based upon discourse as a qualitative method. Five indicator signs which is history, comparison, geographic location, vision of growth potential and solution controls the context of PPPThe result of the analysis was that a clear discourse was unravelled. A first rather surprising conclusion shows that it is possible to disconnect the discourse from PPP. PPP is not important by itself, the result shows that it only play the part of possible solution to the problems related to the discourse and does not have any value in its own.This result lead the conclusion that PPP is no more than a tool for politicians to get as much out of their infrastructural aims as possible, as rational vote-maximizing actors.

This paper examines how notifies security looks for private employed workers in jobs founded by the public. The aim is to clarify the legal situation surrounding notifies law, and to analyze possible shortcomings in the law with a focus on the future.Notifies law is based on five cornerstones. Where freedom of information, a right to provide information to the media for publication, ?acquires the right? and protection to be anonymous when talking to the press goes to all workers. The other two pillars, ?a look up prohibitions? and ?retaliatory forbid? apply only to employees in the public sector.

Sammanfattning/AbstractI ett demokratiskt samhälle är yttrandefrihet samt rätten att utöva den religion som man tillhör två viktiga förutsättningar. I Frankrike har det uppstått flera debatter gällande yttrandefriheten och religionens förhållande till varandra. I denna uppsats har jag valt att undersöka hur franska journalister ser på detta förhållande.I studien deltog sex yrkessamma journalister; två kvinnor och fyra män. Två av männen arbetar som karikatyrtecknare på den kontroversiella satirtidningen Charlie Hebdo. Resterande intervjupersoner arbetar, eller har arbetat, på välkända franska nyhetstidningar; Le Monde, L´Express och Le Parisien.

The main purpose of this thesis is to analyse the possibilities and problems facing a privatised work injury insurance. This discussion includes the element of premium differentiation. Todays´ Swedish social insurance system is ineffectively formed. The costs have dramatically increased during the 1990´s. The Swedish government is now looking for ways to improve the efficiency of the system.

To manage the industry?s need of wood assortments in a optimal and cost effective way the forest companies need to have knowledge of the actual standing volume and the yield of the planned clear cuts. The mean volume of the trunk is also important since it is important for the contractors prices. Today the total volume are estimated either with Näslund (1940) or Brandels (1990) functions of volumes, and the yield is estimated with Rune Ollas (1980) function for trunks and stands. The purpose of this study has been to answer the following questions: How good is the yield forecast with data collected with currently used methods? How well can the yield forecasts became with data collected according to the instructions? How well can the yield forecast be with data collected according to the instruction and calculated with the program Aptan for theoretical bucking? Vi ställs dagligen inför väldigt många val och beroende på vilka val vi väljer att göra kommer dessa till stor del att påverka hur vi lever vårt liv och även hur tillfreds vi kommer att vara med livet. Vi baserar många av våra val på känslomässiga förutsägelser som är våra antaganden om hur framtida händelser kommer att påverka oss känslomässigt. Våra känslomässiga förutsägelser är dessvärre ofta påverkade av olika bias som gör att vi missbedömer hur starkt och under hur lång tid vi kommer att reagera känslomässigt på kommande händelser, vilket i sin tur påverkar vilka val vi kommer att göra. Den här uppsatsen kommer att undersöka hur våra känslomässiga förutsägelser påverkar vårt subjektiva välbefinnande och även hur förståelse för detta skulle kunna användas i psykologisk coachning i form av interventioner för att hjälpa människor att göra fler val som leder till ett ökat subjektivt välbefinnande..
