The ambition of this study is to examine the discussion surrounding the Swedish participation in the European security- and defence policy. By forming feasible areas of arguments the goal is to gain further comprehension in the case of Sweden. These arguments are formed in close relation to the empirical sources; With less public funding there are economic aspects of cooperation, this could also be related to Swedish the industry of defence systems; A high level of participation in the UN is a tradition in Swedish foreign policy, the European battle groups are the perfect tool to further strengthen the UN ability in conflict management and peace keeping missions; Outside the EMU Sweden could face the political margin, to retain influence a high level of activity ought to occur in the integration process; Finally, the future position of United States and NATO is not clear, Europe needs an capacity apart the US to contribute to lasting peace and stability. Since 1979 when homosexuality no longer was classified as an illness the Swedish authorities have been working on increasing the LGBTQ community?s rights and living conditions. How is this work reflected within the Cultural heritage sector, especially since the adoption of Agenda 2030. The purpose and goal of this study is to examine whether the cultural heritage sector actively works to include the LGBTQ perspective in their preservation work by using a quantitative method. Through a document analysis and a survey, it examines this on a national, regional and local level within ?sterg?tland county and its 13 municipalities. The study shows that at a national level there are no specific strategies for working inclusively with an LGBTQ perspective in cultural heritage, however, there is almost always a general level where concepts such as equality, gender equality, inclusion and intersectionality are mentioned.

Uppsatsen undersöker alkoholens pris- och inkomstelasticiteter i Sverige, för att på så vis undersöka om det svenska alkoholmonopolet genom Systembolaget ger den eftersökta effekt på alkoholkonsumtionen i landet, dvs konsumtionsminskning genom prisreglering. För att renodla elasticiteterna så mycket som möjligt studeras i första hand Jämtlands, Västerbottens och Västernorrlands län, detta då Systembolagets ställning på marknaden är som starkast där då inga andra förskaffningsmöjligheter som t ex egenimport eller köp av smuggelsprit existerar i någon större utsträckning i de länen. De resultaten kompareras sedan med en nationell skattning för att se hur det ter sig på nationell nivå. Resultaten visade att det föreligger en negativ priselasticitet på alkohol på den regionala analysnivån såväl som på den nationella. Elasticiteterna på nationell nivå är dock avsevärt starkare.

Problemet med övergödning har länge varit uppmärksammat i Sverige. De åtgärder som har satts in för att minska problemet har inte fungerat tillfredsställande och därför är det extra viktigt att följa upp och utvärdera målet Ingen övergödning. En central del i arbetet med miljömålen är utvärdering och uppföljning, som görs för att bedöma om vi närmar oss de uppsatta miljömålen. I det svenska miljömålsarbetet har så kallade miljöindikatorer fått en betydande roll. De fungerar som ett verktyg för att operationalisera, implementera, följa upp och utvärdera hållbar utveckling.

This essay examines the policy process of specialist medical training in three Swedish counties. The essay will first describe the policy process. Secondly the politicians parti-cipating in the process is examined. Thirdly, it is tested whether it is possible to analyze the policy process based on Ostrom's theories of cooperation around a common pool resource. In this case, the common pool resource is specialized medical practitioners skills that the Swedish county councils must collaborate on to competence should be sufficient for the county council needs, something that is not the case today.One conclusion of the study is that the health care law is not clear enough when it comes to who is responsible for providing a sufficient number of specialists.

The implementation of integration policy has in recent times been a major problem for the municipal administrations in Swedish municipalities. The concept of integration is considered to be very diffuse, difficult to apply and implement the following decisions. To understand the concept of integration is the first step, followed by understanding its complexity in an organization.In this study, I focus on studying the implementation of integration policies for integration work with Kalmar Municipality as a case study. I am using Lundquist's implementation theory about understanding, able and willing. The survey consists primarily of interviews but also a certain document to get a perspective on how integration policy has gone into integration work with the hypothesis that it is the understanding that weaknesses of the officials in the implementation of integration policies.

Den här uppsatsen behandlar den fysiska dimensionen i svensk regional planering och hur den påverkar sambandet mellan det regionala tillväxtarbetet och den kommunala översiktsplaneringen. Problembeskrivningen är baserad på Boverkets rapporter Rumslig utvecklingsplanering ? länken mellan regionalt tillväxtarbete och kommunal översiktsplanering (Rapport 2011:3) och Sambandet mellan det regionala tillväxtarbetet och kommunernas översiktsplanering (Rapport 2014:15). I dessa rapporter konstateras att en av anledningarna till att sambandet mellan de båda sektorerna idag är så svagt är att det regionala tillväxtarbetet och främst de regionala utvecklingsprogrammen saknar en fysisk dimension vilket gör det svårare för de kommunala planerarna att omsätta utvecklingsprogrammen och dess innehåll i fysisk planering (Boverket 2011, Boverket 2014a).Med utgångspunkt i det konstaterandet är uppsatsens syfte att undersöka möjligheten att använda sig av regionplanering enligt PBL för att stärka sambandet mellan det regionala tillväxtarbetet och den kommunala översiktsplaneringen.I avsnittet Teoretiskt perspektiv presenteras och diskuteras en möjlighet att tolka den diskrepans som finns mellan det regionala tillväxtarbetet och den kommunala översiktsplaneringen som utgår från en tolkning Jan-Evert Nilsson har presenterat av regionalpolitiken inom EU. Nilsson menar att det finns ett ekonomiskt/socialt perspektiv och ett territoriellt perspektiv och att dessa representerar två olika sätt att se på och hantera regional utveckling.

Det här examensarbetet har syftet till att undersöka hur integrerad trafik- och samhällsplanering kan bidra till ett mer hållbart transportsystem. I uppsatsen diskuteras olika hinder och barriärer som uppkommer i en integrerad planering. Examensarbetet är i huvudsak av kvalitativ karaktär. En litteraturstudie har genomförts om hur trafik- och samhällsplaneringen kan integreras. Det empiriska materialet består av en fallstudie genomfördes i Örebro regionen, i kommunerna Örebro, Kumla och Hallsberg.

Today Sweden is both a secular and multi-religious country, of which Christianity historically has been a dominant player. Both processes of individualization and migration have contributed to a changed religious character as the current Swedish social situation represents. An interesting question to consider is how the Swedish school system has been able to adapt to the changed religious climate. This study examines the policy documents for religious education produced for upper secondary school, to see how the role of religion in the processes of individualization and migration, and the changes that these processes have brought the role of religion in today?s society as a whole, are described within them.

On December 1th 2009 the Lisbon Treaty entered into force, and through Article 13, the recognition of animals as sentient being was given a more visible part in the very core of EU law. This was an effect of a political decision to commit to the issue, partly because of the will to further harmonize the EU market, but also due to increased societal concern for the wellbeing of animals. Over the last decades, ethical awareness is growing in many countries, one reason being new scientific discovery. This influences legislators and policy makers to take proper action, and in this way, ethics and science often work together as the very basis for the development of new legislation and policies. There is yet to be seen what the actual consequences of Article 13 will be, since the legal obligation remains the same and there are still some reservations in it.

This study is about howStockholm?s policy for zero tolerance of graffiti from 2007 affected the graffiti culture inStockholm. We have researched what consequences there were for the practice of graffiti, and what consequences there were for the stylistic performance of graffiti. In doing so, we have had two focus group interviews and one deep interview including eight graffiti writers from Stockholm. The individuals in the groups have been practising graffiti for a varied amount of time, but we have representation from both before, and after/during the policy of zero tolerance from 2007. Our study shows that the result ofStockholm?s policy for zero tolerance of graffiti for the graffiti culture inStockholmwas a ?subcultureification?, a ?stylistic generalization? and the ?subculture?s ambivalent identity?.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att genom intervjuer med medarbetare i två olika organisationer undersöka om, och i sådana fall hur, olika delar i en organisation kan påverka arbetsgivare och arbetstagares förhållningssätt till frågor rörande alkohol och arbetet med drog- och alkoholpolicyn. Vidare har syftet varit att se vilken roll denna policy spelar i arbetet med dessa frågor.De frågeställningar vi har för avsikt att besvara är följande:? Hur förhåller sig medlemmar i organisationen till problem rörande alkohol?? Finns likheter eller skillnader mellan hur medlemmar förhåller sig till en organisations alkoholpolicy respektive hur de agerar i praktiken?? Vad är det som påverkar dessa förhållningssätt?De resultat vi har fått fram pekar på tydliga tendenser till att alkohol- och drogpolicyn inte används som ett verktyg i frågor rörande alkohol och droger i de undersökta organisationerna. Trots detta stämmer medarbetares tillvägagångssätt många gånger överens med det som står i respektive organisations policy. Detta beror till största del på dokumentens vaga utformning.

The aim of this paper is to explain how the European Union?s common strategy for theCommon Foreign- and Security Policy (CFSP) will change with the implementation of the Treaty of Lisbon. A comparative case study and qualitative method is used. On the basis of Smith?s theory of institutionalization we will analyze two member states: France and Denmark.

Dagkirurgiska operationer står för en stor del av den operativa verksamheten i dag. Många patienter upplever det fördelaktigt att opereras dagkirurgiskt eftersom det påverkar deras vardag i mindre grad. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva patienters upplevelse av att vara vaken under en operation i regional anestesi. Inklussionskriterierna var att de skulle ha varit vaken under sin operation, komma ihåg operationen samt vara över 18 år. Tio av de femton tillfrågade valde att delta, åtta var kvinnor och två män i ålder mellan 36 och 72.

I have conducted a review on four countries in Scandinavia and the goal was to create a better understanding about what has caused homelessness in this countries. The result shows that the causes of homelessness can be explained by a variety of reasons. The most common causes of homelessness were related to mental illness and drug abuse. There where also other causes of homelessness, which was considered normal in Scandinavia. Examples of other causes were eviction, unemployment, housing policy, housing shortage, payment of debts, separations and family problems..
