Denna C-uppsats analyserar genom kvalitativt inneha?llsanalytiska metoder utvalda delar av BBC:s bevakning av upploppen i England i augusti 2011. Metodmodellen a?r egenkonstruerad, men anva?nder element ur kritisk diskursanalys (CDA, Faircloughs tilla?mpningar), samt delar av de metodverktyg som tas upp i Selby och Cowderys metodhandbok How to Study Television. Materialet underso?ks i fyra steg: konstruktion, kategori/genre, inverkan/agency samt diskursiv praktik/nyhetsva?rdering.

In this study, we have explored a new area called ?gamification? ? a word and concept that was first introduced on the Internet autumn 2010. Gamification concerns integrating game design, with emphasis on game mechanics and game dynamics, into non-gaming contexts ? such as marketing. At its basic definition, it concerns the process of transforming all kinds of activities into games.

 Car seats for smaller children, offers very good protection incase of a collision. Unfortunately for the parents? sake , these car seats is heavy to handle outside the car. For example back and forth home and short errands around town. In other words, all those times when you decide to just take out the car seat and carry it instead of place the baby in a baby carrier.

The discussion of the swedish treatment of offenders often revolves round the two contradictions punishment and care. Modern prison is described to be based on values such as humanity, care and respect, although the main task is to protect the society from criminals by keeping them locked up. This study focused on the role of the prison officer with the purpose of understanding how he sees his profesional role in an organisation influenced by punishment and care.Central questions are: How does the prison officer handle his role as caretaker in an organisation where he not only has the right to, but also is obliged to, controle and power his clients? How does the prison officer define his working role and does he find any dificulties in combining these?The research was realized during the months of April and May 2005 through qualitative interviews and conversations with prison officers working in a swedish prison. It also contained a minor fieldstudy in that same prison.The results showed that the principle conflict between punishment and care have an insignificant influence on the daily work of the prison officer.

The project was carried out with SwedSafe AB, engaged in hearing and manufacture of earplugs. Since the company is a world leader in the sale of these products, it is important that they keep a higher level of quality of these products.Production of earplugs is currently a automated manufacturing process that is divided into four conveyor belts and one of the conveyor belts is what will be affected in the project. The belt affected during this process is exposed to various elements such as filling, closing, fermentation and extraction of products. Because the belt gets dirty, degraded products and the work environment is affected. To increase the quality of products and improve the working environment requires an automatic cleaning process, which collects dirt from the belt.The aim of the project is to design a machine that prevents the belt from becoming dirty, preserve molds clean and improve the working environment without disrupting production.

Purpose/Aim: To examine whether or not there is such a thing as bloggbullying, and if so, how this manifests itself among female bloggers.Material/Method: To analyze the material, which consists of comments made on a total of 75 posts made on three different blogs, a quantitative method as well as a qualitative critical discourse analysis was used.Main result: Several similarities between Anatol Pikas definition of bullying and the results were found, and the conclusion is that there is such a thing as bloggbullying..

This thesis describes how the punk movement was started in Sweden and how it continued to grow in the late 70's. The main questions are: How was the punk movement regarded in Sweden?; How did punk reflect the society? and What does the term punk represent?The study is based on journalistic texts in newspapers and magazines from the period of the breakthrough of punk. The work is based on a methodical review of the material and is organized thematically under topics like opinions, gigs, clothing and music. Initially, punk lead to misunderstandings and misperceptions since few people knew what punk was all about.

Detta arbete handlar om utvecklingssamtal. Det behandlar skillnader mellan kvartsamtal och utvecklingssamtal. Inledningsvis ges en definition av kommunikation sedan följer lite om vad ett samtal är för något. Efter den behadlas kvartsamtalet sedan utvecklingssamtalet. Litteraturdelen avslutas med en beskrivning av hur en lärare kan förbereda, genomföra och utvärdera ett utvecklingssamtal.

Vårt övergripande syfte med uppsatsen är att beskriva och analysera intern benchmarking. Vi ämnar belysa hur H&M arbetar med intern benchmarking för att empiriskt utvärdera hur detta styrverktyg kan användas och utvecklas.För att uppfylla studiens syfte har författarna valt ett deduktivt angreppssätt, där teorin jämförts med de empiriska data som samlats in från och om fallföretaget. Genom att använda en kvalitativ metod har intervjufrågorna utformats utifrån den uppbyggda teoretiska referensramen. Efter sammanställning av data analyserades empirin utifrån teorin.Studien baseras till stor del på Robert Camps femfasmodell, samt Peter Southard och Diane Parentes flödesschema för benchmarkingprocessen. Även andra teorier om benchmarking behandlas i studien, liksom vidareutvecklingen till benchlearning.Insamling av empiri har skett genom fyra personliga intervjuer och en telefonintervju med anställda på detaljhandels- och modeföretaget H&M.

Uppsatsens syfte är att belysa hur kompetensutveckling som begrepp framträder i ett företags texter och dokument. Vi avser att belysa språkets och textens makt i de sociala relationerna i en verksamhet med hjälp av en diskursanalys. Företag idag lägger stor vikt på att utforma dokument som på olika sätt ska säkerställa kvalitén på det dagliga arbetet genom att tydliggöra vad som skall göras och av vem. Dessa texter är riskabla att luta sig allt för mycket på då dessa kan vara en idealiserad verklighet av det arbete som utförs. Vår utgångspunkt är en kvalitativ ansats med diskursanalys som metod. Denna metod utgår ifrån texter i analysarbetet och dessa behandlar alla i någon form begreppet kompetens-utveckling.

The purpose of this study was to examine how a selection of social welfare officers based on the principle of the best interest of the child construct a minimum level of the material standard in a home. Another purpose was to examine whether different units with varying socioeconomic prerequisites in the municipality of Stockholm construct this level differently.The method used in this study was Sociology of Law and two focus groups were used for the gathering of the data. A social constructive theory, a class perspective using concepts of Bourdieu and a perspective of law were used to analyse the material of data.The results showed that the courses of action varied from enactment and the policies of the municipality of Stockholm, unspecified theories of the development of children, the conception of what is normal and what children needs, the context in which they work, the development of the society and what they estimate that children needs when attending school. The results also showed a difference between the two units concerning the minimum level of the material standard in a home.

Common problems with this design are for instance scratch marks on the strip and problems with the flatness measuring system.  One way of circumventing the aforementioned problems would be a non-contact measuring system. The market of today only offers systems based on the Doppler principle.This report evaluates three different systems for non-contact speed measurement. On October 17, 2012, TV4 broadcasted an episode of the documentary series Kalla fakta. The episode received a lot of attention when it revealed that Parken Zoo, a very popular destination for families, was not as well maintained beneath the surface as it gave the impression of being. The case attracted attention in all possible media for a long time, which led to a beginning of an extensive investigation of the Zoo.The purpose of this study is to examine how Parken Zoo handled the media after the examination of TV4?s Kalla fakta, and how it affected people?s confidence in the Zoo. This paper consists of an overall case study of Parken Zoo that can be divided into two different methods.

En betydande risk för att utveckla undernäring finns vid förekomst av dysfagi, det vill säga ätsvårigheter. Genom att anpassa kostens konsistens kan dock intaget av mat och dryck under-lättas och även möjligheten att tillgodose näringsbehov. Vilken kostkonsistens som serveras bör därmed betraktas som en medicinsk åtgärd och ordination. En förutsättning för att vårdta-garen erhåller rätt kostkonsistens är att kommunikationen mellan olika vårdgivare är väl fun-gerande och att kostansvariga är införstådda med vilken kostkonsistens som vårdtagaren ska inta. Ytterliggare krav på god kommunikation ställs då terminologin för konsistensanpassad kost varierar.
