The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers see the use of action plans for students in need of special support in physical education. The questions used were: What do the teachers consider being the causes for students not reaching the objectives in physical education? What experiences do four teachers have considering the work with action plans for students in need of special support? And, what experiences have one chosen head of school about establishing action plans for students in need of special support?To reach the answers to these questions qualitative interviews were made with four teachers from different schools. The interviews deal with the teachers views on assessment, curriculum, and the work with action plans for students in need of special support.The results show that that the underlying causes for students not reaching their objectives was either lack of participation or difficulties in certain parts of the subject. Despite this, the teachers write very few action plans even though it appears there are students in need of special support.

In today´s labour market, men and women are segregated, both vertically and horizontally. Exceptions to the rule of gender segregation are few. There is, however, one managerial group where women and men are equal in numbers: school principals. In a short period of time, the distribution in terms of sex among principals in Sweden has changed dramatically. How does gender equality in numbers affect gender equality in a qualitative sense? That is the focus of this thesis.

Organic food is produced in a way that strives towards maintaining and improving natural resources. The welfare of both producers and consumers is central, also taking both animals and the environment into account. The Swedish government finds this important and in 2006 they made a resolution that the consumption of organic food should be stimulated. The goal was that 25 % of the municipalities? consumption of food should be organic in 2010.The municipality of Ludvika reached the government's target in 2011 and is currently increasing their proportion of organic food by one new product every year.  Ludvika is a member of The National Association of Swedish Eco-municipalities and the town of Ludvika is also a Fairtrade city.

The long-term external financing of a corporation is satisfied through the bond market where issues of index-linked bonds, which are discussed in this thesis, is one alternative. (Finnerty&Emery 2001) An index- linked bond is a debt instrument where the investor is guaranteed the principal and premium amount in real terms. As the bonds cash flows are indexed to the inflation this implies that the issuer of an index-linked bond assumes an inflation risk. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to describe and examine corporate motives for choosing index-linked bonds as way of financing their business. Realization: Primary data was collected through interviews with corporate issuers of non-swapped index-linked bonds.

Syftet är att med hjälp av fallet Stockholms stads hemtjänst analysera hur ledningen på utförarnivå implementerar ett påtvingat arbetssystem.Studien är kvalitativ där avsikten med studien är att beskriva och analysera respondenternas tankar och upplevelser kring implementeringen av arbetssystemet. Som forskningsstrategi har en fallstudiemetod använts. Den huvudsakliga datakällan är åtta intervjuer med chefer på olika utförarenheter i Stockholms stad.Uppsatsens teoretiska ansats utgörs av Principal-agent teorin, teorier om förändringsmotstånd och förändringsledning samt teorier om implementering av ny teknologi.Studien tar sin grund i att Stockholms stad infört ett nytt rapporteringssystem i hemtjänsten år 2014, något som har mött mycket motstånd av vårdbiträden. Detta har lagt press på ledningen på utförarnivå som lett implementeringsarbetet i utförarenheterna. Genom åtta stycken intervjuer med chefer från olika utförarenheter har ledningens roll och ansvar av implementeringsarbetet uppskattats samt ledningens hantering av motstånd diskuterats.Studien har resulterat i en utvärdering av ledningsarbetet som till största delen påverkat utfallet av införandet av ParaGå i hemtjänsten.

The thesis has investigated how Sandvik Coromant could implement the SMED principle on one of their grinders groups and what improvements it would lead to. The aim of the thesis is to identify the current situation and investigate how their setup times would be affected by SMED. The work initiated with a literature analysis about the SMED principles and then proceeded with an analysis of the current situation where the activity was time mapped. The analysis consisted of time trials of the process that the thesis would include. The time studies revealed opportunities for structural improvements to create environment for a more structured process.

This study focuses on a cooperation (collaboration) project between municipalities social services and the regions psychiatric care. They will capture a client / patient group that often risks falling between the chairs, persons with a psychic disorder and a problem of substance abuse. The purpose of the study was to study the projects cooperation on its organizational level. The central questions of issue were: What is cooperation in the project? What view do the professionals have of the projects cooperation, and partly have on members of the client group persons with a psychic disorder and a problem of substance abuse? The study was implemented through participating observations on three meetings with the govern group, the project group and the POS-team and interviews with two representatives from each principal.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka huruvida bistånd leder till ökad kosmopolitisk rättvisa. Begreppet kosmopolitisk rättvisa är i första hand hämtat från Kok-Chor Tans bok Justice Without Borders. Kosmopolitisk rättvisa används för att kunna operationalisera rättvisa på ett kvantifierbart sätt, vilket ökar möjligheten att mäta huruvida rättvisan i de undersökta fallen har ökat, minskat eller varit konstant.För att besvara frågan undersöker jag sambandet mellan bistånd och rättvisevariabler, med hjälp av ett statistiskt datamaterial och regressionsanalys. Jag använder tvärsnittsdata som kommer från UNDPs organisation Human Development Report, vilken listar världens länder utifrån om de har High, Medium eller Low Human Development, varav statistik om länderna i de två sistnämnda kategorierna används i uppsatsen. Jag använder mig av olika variabler, exempelvis Nettotalet för barn som börjar skolan "primary" uttryckt i procent, Platser i parlamentet som innehas av kvinnor och Offentliga utgifter för utbildning som procent av BNP, för att undersöka huruvida det finns en positiv korrelation mellan dessa och bistånd.Jag använder mig även av en fåfallsstudie där jag undersöker det svenska biståndets effekt på kosmopolitisk rättvisa i Indien och Sri Lanka, för att jämföra och dra slutsatser om hur biståndet har påverkat utvecklingen av rättvisan.

According to Swedish tax legislation, investment funds are taxed differently depending on if the are Swedish or foreign. The difference between the investment funds lies within the taxation of received dividends and the opportunity to shift the liability of tax of received dividends on to the funds shareholders. This measure is only available to Swedish funds. The question in this thesis is whether this difference is discriminatory against foreign investors and therefore constitutes a forbidden restriction against the free movement of capital stated in article 63 EUF Treaty.The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has given several preliminary rulings on this type of legislation and its compatibility with the principle of free movement of capital. It is not compatible with the free movement according to the court.

The purpose of this thesis is to study how swedishness is constructed and narrated in two Swedish documentary series that picture the Swedish participation in the international ISAF mission in Afghanistan. The main focus lies on how the Swedish soldier as such is portrayed, on which values, characteristics and qualities that they are said to embody and how these are linked to notions of swedishness, particularly the strong historical narrative, formed during the second half of the twentieth century, that defines Sweden as a peaceful, neutral and humanitarian state, with peaceful, enlightened and democratically minded citizens. Theoretically it draws on the concept of metanarrative to explain how ideas of shared national origin translates in to a broad organizing discourse, that defines, interprets and communicates notions of what it means to be a Swede and what is needed to make claims on swedishness. Another concept, that of national bodyscape, is also used to further define and explain how ideas of nationality are embodied and take the form of specific characteristics and  personal qualities. The meaning-making in these two series makes use of the above mentioned definition of swedishness as defined by humanitarian concerns, democratic ideals and moral superiority to construct an image of the Swedish soldiers as on the one hand soft, humanitarians, who are needed in Afghanistan because of their especially strong sense of justice and moral, and, on the other, as tough soldiers, who are able to participate in every aspect of the war as fighters.

Sveriges inträde i EU 1995 har lett till många förändringar i det svenska rättssystemet. Svenska domstolar har därmed fått en ny arbetssituation och nya skyldigheter. Flera förändringar har skett i svensk processrätt, och grundläggande EU-rättsliga principer som de om direkt effekt och EU-rättens företräde framför nationell rätt, har ställt de nationella domstolarna inför flera utmaningar.Den mest grundläggande skyldigheten de svenska domstolarna har gentemot EU är förpliktelsen att inhämta förhandsavgörande från EU-domstolen. Sistainstansrätterna är skyldiga att göra detta närhelst de är osäkra på tolkningen och/eller tillämpningen av en EU-rättslig bestämmelse. Detta är en långtgående förpliktelse som endast har två undantag: det första är i de fall EU-domstolen redan dömt i ett identiskt fall (acte éclairé); det andra är då den nationella domstolen anser att den EU-rättsliga bestämmelsen är tillräckligt klar och tydligt för att den självständigt ska kunna tillämpa den (acte clair).Dessa skyldigheter har lett till ett flertal problem för de svenska domstolarna.

This master?s paper first presents some of the principal theories and concepts developed by the poverty researchers Rowntree, Titmuss, Townsend, Sen and Lister. These theoretical frameworks are then related to two documents from the EU and Sweden concerning combating poverty and social exclusion, bearing on the establishment of the ?Year 2010 against Poverty?. Finally, I discuss the value in practice of these theories and policy documents, as regards reducing poverty in Europe.It has become clear in this investigation that the theories and concepts from earlier research are still relevant to the formulation of contemporary policy programmes, and that earlier research helps us to avoid old traps in fighting poverty.

This paper is written in the field of Educational Science, and it focuses on literature that pupils read. Literature has the power to shape readers beliefs, that is why this paper aims to examine, and compare two novels that are used in Swedish schools in class settings. Both novels deal with the issue of psychiatric disorder from a woman´s perspective. Research done in the field of psychiatric disorder shows that it is an important subject that should be addressed in schools. Research done from the perspective of gender studies points out the need of representation of female perspective in literature that pupils are working with.

För att överleva i dagens näringslivsklimat krävs en väl anpassad strategi för att hantera alla svårigheter och möjligheter som ett företag ställs inför.Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka den svenska energikoncernen Vattenfalls tillväxtstrategi. Konkret undersöks på vilka sätt företaget avser växa organiskt och genom förvärv, vilka marknader som skall exploateras och vilken typ av produktutveckling som sker. Vidare undersöks svenska statens ägarroll i Vattenfall.För att besvara uppsatsens syfte har vi använt såväl primär- som sekundärdata i form av intervjuer med representanter för både Vattenfall och Svenska staten samt dokumentation i form av rapporter, analyser och direktiv. Denna data har sedan tolkats med hjälp av tillväxtteori avseende både organisk och förvärvsinriktad tillväxt samt agentteori.Från vår data har vi kunnat dra slutsatser kring Vattenfalls strategi där företaget i nuläget står inför en större förändring från att vara inriktade på förvärvsbaserad tillväxt till en kombination där både förvärv och organisk tillväxt ingår. Denna strategi syftar till att fördubbla företagets energiproduktion fram till år 2030 och göra företaget klimatneutralt till år 2050.

Efter en tid av stabila utdelningsnivåer har ett flertal svenska börsnoterade bolag sänkt sina utdelningar under 2009. För att undersöka hur marknaden reagerar på en förändring i utdelningsnivå kan utdelningars signaleffekter studeras. Syftet med studien är att undersöka om det föreligger ett samband mellan ett företags utdelningsnivå och dess signaleffekter samt att undersöka eventuella skillnader i förändring av utdelningsnivå för räkenskapsåren 2007 och 2008. Vidare syftar vi även till att undersöka om annan information har en signaleffekt och därför studeras tre kontrollvariabler; räntabilitet på eget kapital, skuldsättningsgrad och kassaberedskap.Studien utgår från teorin om den effektiva marknaden och principal-agentteorin. En kvantitativ metod har använts för att inhämta data från 55 olika bolag från Stockholmsbörsens Large-cap och Mid-cap listor.
