Acute myocardial infarction is a serious diagnosis. Both the patient and the loved ones experience an immediate uncertainty. To be able to emotionally support the patient´s spouse, the nurse in the coronary care unit must be prepared to also encounter the world of the spouse. The aim of this study was from a nursing perspective to illuminate how life was experienced during the first two months by the spouse of someone, who was stricken by a first time acute myocardial infarction. Interviews with six spouses were conducted.

Bakgrund: I sjuksköterskans arbete ingår varierande arbetsuppgifter. Omvårdnad är ett omsorgsyrke där patientens olika behov ska tillgodoses samtidigt som de administrativa uppgifterna och den medicinska disciplinen ska skötas. Sjuksköterskan konfronteras med stressade situationer dagligen i sitt omvårdnadsarbete. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva sjuksköterskans upplevelse av stressrelaterade konsekvenser i omvårdnadsarbetet. Metod: En litteraturstudie gjordes som grundats på tolv vetenskapliga artiklar.

Intimate partner violence against women has gone from a concealed family affair to a public issue. The health care services are often those who first come in contact with abused women, despite this many women are not identified as victims of domestic violence. The purpose of this study was to describe nursing care of abused women and factors influencing the care. The study was conducted as a literature review where 18 articles were analyzed. The result showed the importance of the nurses? role in screening for abused women.

Bakgrund: Missfall räknas som den vanligaste graviditetskomplikationen. Kvinnors omvårdnadsbehov efter missfall består av både fysiska och psykiska aspekter. Känslor av skuld, förlust, tomhet och sorg uppkom och ofta kvarstod känslorna under en längre tid. Kvinnorna som fått missfall upplevde ofta att deras omvårdnadsbehov inte tillgodosetts adekvat. Sjuksköterskans kompetensområde innefattar tillgodoseende av både fysiska och psykiska omvårdnadsbehov.Syfte: Att beskriva kvinnors erfarenheter och omvårdnadsbehov vid missfall.Metod: En litteraturöversikt baserad på elva vetenskapliga artiklar som granskats med hjälp av innehållsanalys.Resultat: Resultatet av denna litteraturöversikt visar att erfarenheten av att genomgå ett missfall påverkar kvinnan psykiskt, fysiskt och socialt.

Syftet med denna undersökning har varit att genom att analysera och följa rapporteringen om händelserna i stockholmsförorten Husby 2013 undersöka hur medierna gestaltar polisen och vilket utrymme polisen får i nyhetsrapporteringen. Undersökningen är en fallstudie där materialet består av artiklar från Svenska Dagböadet, Dagens Nyheter och Expressen. Studien är uppdelad i två delar där artiklarna har analyserats både kvalitativt och kvantitativt. Resultaten från den kvantitativa delen har använts för att pröva teorierna kring elitkällor och primary definers och jämförs med tidigare forskningsresultat. Det finns två väldigt olika bilder av polisen. Dels är det den våldsamma närmast militärliknande polisen, dels är det den synliga, folkliga och trygghetsskapande polisen.

To be educated in global climate issues can be challenging for pupils. This may contribute to anxiety and feelings of helplessness. Global climate change may also be a challenge for educators to convey to young learners, f-3. Educators can experience various problems when it comes to teaching about climate issues. The subject of climate change is a broad and complex area, according to the studied material in our thesis.

The aim was to describe the experiences of couples where the male partner had undergone radical prostatectomy due to prostate cancer. Furthermore, the study explored how the operation had affected their sexual life, whether the couples had received enough post surgical support and information concerning these issues, and to describe the kind of support and information these couples desired. Twenty men and ten partners participated. All the men experienced a varying degree of post surgical erectile dysfunction and only five men had received support concerning their sexual life. Eleven men desired professional visiting support activities.

A Geographic Information System (GIS) is about presentinginformation with the map as a base. This is increasingly being used on internetsites and in mobile apps. With a GPS it is possible to see where you are andhow to reach a destination or check if the bus is in time. A question to ask isif this technology is possible to implement in ordinary primary schooleducation. If it is, learning history, geography, religion and so on with a GISlearning tool might be possible.

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine and explain the various methods available to rate the erosion damage, and on which teeth and tooth surfaces of erosion damage mostly occurs in children and adolescents.Method: A literature review was conducted, based on 15 scientific articles that have been reviewed, evaluated and analyzed. Articles were searched for in the database PubMed.Result: Six of the articles used the TWI (tooth wear index), which is an index to diagnose the tooth wear in the primary and permanent dentition. Eight articles used other indices as they considered that the TWI was not sufficiently developed to register the degree of tooth wear on some teeth. Tooth wear in the primary dentition occurs most often in the canines and incisors. Tooth wear in the permanent dentition was found in the literature to be mostly occurring on the occlusal / incisal surfaces of all teeth and tooth surfaces.LyssnaConclusion: There is no common index in the articles but many of them use the TWI.

A lot of time is spent on non-core activity, for example administration takes more and more time, which can result in feelings of stress.Aim:The aim was to describe how district nurses? and nurses? in primary care perceived their work environment, how their worktime content was distributed and if there was some connection between perceived work environment and the distribution of work time.Methods:A mapping of the content of the work was made in two parts.

Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskeutbildningens karaktärsämne bygger på ett metaparadigm bestående av begreppen människa, hälsa, miljö och omvårdnad. Detta metaparadigm ligger till grund för de omvårdnadsvetenskapliga teorierna, begreppsmodellerna och slutligen den kliniska professionen. Huruvida vetenskapen ska benämnas omvårdnadsvetenskap eller vårdvetenskap råder ännu ingen konsensus kring, inte heller huruvida omvårdad eller vårdande ska användas som term för sjuksköterskans kunskaps- och kompetensområde. Denna oenighet leder till en begreppsförvirring och en begreppsoklarhet hos studenterna. Vidare uppfattar studenterna ett glapp mellan teori och praktik.

The purpose of this study is to examine how two different primary schools with the same school management district work with daily physical activity. We have chosen to conduct our investigation based on interviews. Through the interviews, we can highlight the teacher´s and principal´s interpretations of the concept regarding physical activity and find out the school´s arguments and working methods for pupil´s physical activity. These two schools work with physical activity in two different ways and the study describes the teacher´s and principal's choice of approach. Since our training is directed towards the younger ages, school years 1-3, we chose to interview teachers who work in these classes.

Therefore it is crucial that the nursing staff takes their situation seriously.Purpose: The purpose of the study was to describe the patient's? experiences and apprehensionof living with chronic non-malignant pain, and how this affected their everydaylife.Method: Systematic analysis of 23 depicting articles.

Studiens syfte har varit att se vad sjuksköterskan i sin omvårdnad kan göra för att stödja barn i åldrarna tre till tolv år som är anhöriga till svårt sjuka föräldrar samt i samband med förälderns bortgång. Studien har genomförts som en litteraturstudie. Det har inte direkt forskats så mycket om sjuksköterskans roll vid bemötande av barn som är anhöriga till en svårt sjuk förälder. Den forskning som finns om barn fokuseras till stor del på situationer då det är barnet som är sjukt och föräldrarna är anhöriga. Vissa forskare har dock intresserat sig för stöd av anhöriga i stort.

The aim of this paper is to perform a comparative study between the photography?s of Leila Khaled and Shirin Neshat in order to observe if the woman are able to recede from an conventional formation to become the bearer of the veil and not only reduced to that whichneeds to be concealed. From a feministic perspective I have observed how the symbolic of the veil moulds the woman and how the woman in her context moulds the veil.In the description of the news photography of Khaled and the art photography produced by Neshat the mechanisms that lies as a foundation for the modelling of the portraits becomesthe essays primary entrance.
