Rätt utförd handhygien är en av de enklaste, mest betydelsefulla och minst kostsamma metoder för att minska spridning av vårdrelaterade infektioner, VRI. Trots omfattande kampanjer för förbättrad handhygien över hela världen för att förhindra VRI är det svårt att uppnå full följsamhet till rekommenderade riktlinjer. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa attityder som kan påverka hälso- och sjukvårdspersonals följsamhet av rekommenderade riktlinjer för handhygien på sjukhus. Litteraturstudien baseras på nio vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserats enligt Lundman och Graneheims (2008) kvalitativa innehållsanalys. Artiklarna har granskats och kvalitetsbedömts utifrån Willman, Stolz och Bahtsevanis (2011) bedömningsmall.

Vid en kronisk sjukdom gäller det att kunna ta hand om sig och ha en fungerande egenvård. Vårdtagaren idag bör bli mer involverad i sina egenvårdsval, för att kunna sköta om sin kroniska sjukdom. Syftet med denna kvalitativa litteraturstudie var att undersöka vilka faktorer som kunde inverka på lärandet i egenvården i samband med kroniska sjukdomar. Resultatet delades in i tre olika kategorier: gruppens betydelse för lärandet, trygghetens betydelse för lärandet och förebilders betydelse för lärandet. Det framgick att dessa faktorer hade stor inverkan på lärandet för personer med kronisk sjukdom i egenvården..

Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskor kan möta patienter med ätstörningar på olika avdelningar. Sjuksköterskor blir ofta överraskade av det stora omvårdnadsbehov som patienterna har. Syfte: Syftet är att belysa sjuksköterskans upplevelser av vården av patienter med ätstörningar. Metod: En litteraturstudie och granskning av sju vetenskapliga artiklar har genomförts, materialet analyserades med inspiration av Graneheims och Lundmans analysmetod. Resultat: Sjuksköterskor tycker inte att de har tillräcklig kunskap och utbildning för att vårda patienter med ätstörningar.

The thesis main questions are as following: Which ethnic aspects appears in the announcements from the Swedish-American associations in the newspapers Vestkusten and California Veckoblad 1910 and 1915? And What similarities and differences in the ethnic expressions appears in the primary sources during these periods?The conclusions can be briefed as there was a great variety of Swedish-American associations during the examined periods, there was a frequent occurrence in both religious and secular movements.

The aim of my study is to see how teachers in the early primary school are working to teach all their pupils based on how different ethnicities, cultures and multilingual differences reflect on their work places ? the classrooms. I've also contacted the county, were the schools are located in, so I could see what system they are using and how it affects the society.The Swedish society is influenced by different cultures, multilingualism and ethnicities the more time passes, which means that teachers all around need to integrate their pupils in the system so they can better adjust to how the Swedish school system works and be prepared for adult life. Teachers need to concentrate intensely on how they should guide the pupils in their specific class so they can reach their full learning potential and reach the knowledge criteria set by the Swedish school system.I contacted the board of education and to set up a meeting so we could discuss my project. During the meeting I asked the representative how they believe this matter should be handled.

Introduction: Basic Body Awereness Therapy (BBAT) is a treatment developed to treat different kinds of psychiatric diagnoses, but also to prevent the emergence of any other unhealthy conditions. The treatment is aimed to increase the body control and conscious breathing but also requires mental awareness.Aim: The aim of this study is to, based on social cognitive theory, describe patients' experiences of BBAT performed as group therapy.Method: The study design was qualitative with an inductive approach. Five people were interviewed after a BBAT group treatment in primary care. The data was collected by individual interviews with semi-structured questions and the interviews were analysed by qualitative content analysis.Result/Conclusion: The participants experienced increased body awareness and implemented BBAT strategies even though the treatment frequency was insufficient. BBAT was described as helpful used to regulate intensity level, stress management and facilitate breathing.

The intervention consisted of the information material Sugen på sömn. There were five participants whom three of them participated in the second interview. The interviews were processed by content analysis.Results: Health professionals´ experience of giving advice on sleep was summarized in three themes. The aim of this quantitative study was to from a gender perspective understand and measure the mental health among young people as a sense of managing to handle situations and also how satisfied young people are with their personal qualities. The study also aims to see if there is a connection between these two ways of explaining mental health. This study takes its standpoint from a gender theory and gender stereotypes. The study was conducted as a survey with 100 young girls and boys, all of whom was students of a Swedish upper secondary school. The result of the study show that young people in general has a good sense of being able to handle situations.

The school is under constant change and school reform on the conveyor belt. In 2009 the Swedish government introduced new directives for the elementaryschool, including multi-national sample, written testimonials from grade one and grade with several grades rose from grade six. The purpose of this study is to examine currently active primary teacher perceptions of the pupils' learning and development might be affected by those earlier and clearer knowledge assessments, and how teachers perceive this reform on the basis of the Swedish school's motto "a school for all". The study was carried out with a phenomenological approach where the method has been depth interviews with five active primary teachers from grades one to six in a school. The results show that teachers perceive that the earlier and clearer assessments will affect students differently according to student performance and knowledge.

The purpose of this study was to examine whether there was any connection between coping strategies; emotional and cognitive strategy and perceived level of stress among primary school teachers in primary and middle school. It was also investigated whether there was a difference between full-time and part-time employees and perceived level of stress. As a theoretical background Lazarus' transaction theory of stress was used as an explanation of mental stress, Lazarus coping strategies for stress and Karasek?s and Theorell?s model of psychosocial work environment was used to explain unhealthy at work. To measure coping we used Coping inventory resources and to measure the stress we used Percieved stress scale.

This often brings bereavement for the relatives and in hospital with end-of-life care it can be important for the health professionals to support and also take care of the relatives. AIM: The aim of this study is to illuminate relatives? experiences of the caring situation with end-of life-care when a close relative is dying METHOD: Literature review.

According to The National Board of Health and Welfare, about 200 000 elderly persons get some help or support with eating or nutrition problems. This was approximately 2 percent of the population. Older people in sheltered accommodation in community care were not able to manage their own nutrition. The older people were dependent on the food that was offered to them, when and how the food was served. This was a specific responsibility for the nursing staff.
