Syftet med studien var att undersöka på vilka sätt företag i Halmstads kommun arbetar hälsofrämjande. En enkätstudie gjordes på stora och medelstora företag i Halmstads kommun. Den ansvarige för hälsa och arbetsmiljö besvarade enkäten. Resultatet visade att av 34 företag satsade 31 stycken på friskvårdsbidrag, 23 stycken på ergonomiska åtgärder och 21 stycken på företagshälsovård, dessa var de främsta åtgärderna. Konsekvenser som lägre sjukfrånvaro och bättre hälsa gick att avläsa på flera företag.

Sweden's aging population makes the need for a viable health care urgent and telemedicine can be a solution to enable older people to receive or give themselves care in their homes. Furthermore, implementation of telemedicine has the potential to realise profits in society by increasing the accessibility of health care and minimizing travel costs. Sweden?s low population density and geographical configuration makes the advantages of telemedicine even more appealing. To illustrate the differences between the county councils? use of telemedicine and thus increasing the possibility for coordinated care between them, the authors have on behalf of the Innovation Centre at the Karolinska University hospital mapped the amount of telemedicine technologies that are available in the Swedish county councils? today. To collect information an electronic survey and video or telephone interviews were used.

De har oftast en mycket förvrängd livsvärld som är svårt att förstå för människor i samhället och även inom vården. Vilket kan leda till ett avståndstagande som resulterar i en otillräcklig vård. Syftet med studien var att belysa hur personer med schizofreni upplever sin livsvärld. Metoden som användes var en kvalitativ litteraturstudie gjord på två självbiografiska böcker.

Engagemang, kunskap och empati är väsentligt för att sjuksköterskan ska få en bra kommunikation med personer som har fibromyalgi, detta eftersom det finns mycket fördomar emot sjukdomstillståndet. Syftet med studien var att belysa hur personer med fibromyalgi bekräftas och upplever bekräftelse samt hanterar sin situation i det vårdande mötet med sjuksköterskor. Metoden som har använts var litteraturstudie. Resultatet visar, att personer upplevde bekräftelse nar de blev trodda, sedda och fick stöd i sin nära relation med sjuksköterskan. Blev de bekräftade påverkades identiteten och självkänslan i en positiv riktning.

The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers in primary schools experience the situation of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in their regular classes and also how they plan their teaching for these pupils. The empirical study did intend to answer the following two questions; how do teachers experience the situation of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in their regular classes? How is teaching of newly arrived immigrant pupils in regular classes being formed? A qualitative method was used in the form of interviews with five primary school teachers from two different schools. The overall perspective I have assumed in this study is the sociocultural perspective, but I have also taken up a second language perspective and an intercultural perspective. All the teachers in the study have described their experiences of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in terms of difficult, tough and demanding at the beginning, but nowadays somewhat easier.

Syftet med studien var att skaffa fördjupande kunskaper om anhörigas utryckta upplevelser och behov i samband med närståendes plötsliga, oväntade sjukdomstillstånd eller annat hot. Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie där en innehållsanalys gjordes. Resultatet visade betydelsen av att veta vad som händer, förstå och vara delaktig i vården samt behovet av ett emotionellt stöd för att hantera och klara av den situation som de anhöriga befinner sig i.

WHO (World Health Organisation) bedömer att hela 10 % av de patienter som lider av Cancer idag upplever att de ej får en tillräcklig smärtlindring. Det är av stor vikt att alternativa behandlingsformer integreras med den traditionella skolmedicinen (den sedvanliga vården som ges i dag), för att på så sätt ge ett komplement till de patienter som inte erhåller tillräckligt god smärtlindring. Syftet var att undersöka vilken effekt massagen har på smärtpåverkade patienter med cancer, samt vilka instrument som använts för att mäta dessa effekter. The attitude of the care manager towards work environment development may have a significant impact on the co-workers health. The purpose of the study was to investigate the attitude of care managers towards work environment development and the co-workers work environment and in the same time get knowledge in what issues they have a salutary approach respectively a pathological approach. Empirics were gathered from semi-structured interviews with six care managers from the care of older people administration in municipality of Kalmar.

This study aims to analyze the effects of the proposal regarding mandatory reporting for undocumented individuals within the Swedish public sector and how this potentially affects leaders in their efforts to motivate their employees to comply with this requirement, which is considered ethically charged. The primary focus is to understand how these leaders can motivate their employees considering legal requirements that are both legally binding and ethically sensitive. By interviewing leaders from various sectors within the public domain in multiple Swedish municipalities, this case study seeks to highlight the challenges arising from the amalgamation of legal mandates and ethical dilemmas. Its goal is to provide insights that can support these leaders in their complex decision-making regarding such issues. The study addresses theoretical aspects such as change management and critical organizational theory. The study's findings indicate that political decisions play a pivotal role in the processes of change within public operations. Resistance to change varies and takes various forms.
