The 1st of July 2006 Sweden made a change of authorities in the system concerning the reception of separated asylum seeking children. Prior to the change, the Swedish Board of Migration was held completely responsible for the reception of these children, who arrives in Sweden without their parents or any other relatives to care for them. Since the alteration of the law (1994:137) the responsibility for the housing of these children now lies within the Swedish municipalities, while the Board of Migration still handles their legal commissions. The change was intended to fundamentally improve the conditions under which these children were taken care of. However the implementation took a severe wrong turn when the municipalities weren't prepared for their new responsibilities and the immediate result was alarming. This qualitative study is based upon interviews with the people responsible for the reception of the separated asylum seeking children in the municipalities of Kronobergs County, as well as one of the two people in charge of the new system at the Swedish Board of Migration.

Research about what differences and similarities exists between UNHCR and UNRWA in the opinion of a refugee?This examination focuses on a study between The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and THE United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). Both organizations are UN-related and are in charge of refugees, however they differ by the fact the UNHCR controls all of the world?s refugees with the exception of the Palestinian refugees, for which UNRWA. The aim of this work will be to examine the definition of refugees as well as their entitlements and in what way they differ depending on which organization they belong to.As theory I have, among others, used Rainer Bauböck?s book ? Transnational Citizenship?.

Uppsatsen handlar om mina erfarenheter av att vara dansmusiker och spelman inom svensk folkmusik idag. Under flera års tid har jag fördjupat mig inom spelmansmusiken och har med tiden känt av ett större behov att spela till dans för att nå en djupare i respektive tradition. Med fokus på polskedans ska jag utforska vad jag kan utveckla i mitt fiolspel och samtidigt ta reda på hur dansen tas emot av en ny publik. Metoden kommer vara att dokumentera danspelningar- och kurser på olika platser i landet. Jag kommer också att hålla egna kurser med danspedagoger med rörliga roller-pedagogik i ett projekt som kallas Queerpolska..

I detta arbete studerar jag på vilket sätt skribenternas språkbruk, i Vi Föräldrar 1968-2008, påverkar läsarnas identitetsskapande i deras roller som föräldrar. Undersökningen analyserar också en eventuell förändring av denna påverkan mellan de olika år som jag har behandlat. Resultatet, som tillkommit genom en kritisk diskursanalys och applicering av identitetsteori, är att språkbruket definitivt kan påverka gemensamma värderingar och etablera samhällets moral. Detta är dock endast en komponent i skapandet av föräldraskapets identitet, och dess inflytande varierar med språkval, tidsanda och utrymme i källmaterialet..

The purpose of the study was to look into the subjects which the students express when they cry out to their recreation instructor, if there are similarities and differences in the subjects when they turn to their recreation instructor or when they instead turn to their teacher, which different roles and positions the students place their recreation instructors and the teachers in. I have used focused observations during three days in two different schools. Using the ideas of J.Butler on performative perspective, I´ve analyzed the way the students have positioned their recreation instructors and teachers through speech and actions. My conclusion is that students early on see hierarchical structures in school and help maintaining them..

Uppsatsens syfte är att ?inventera? begreppet turist som en social konstruktion i form av identiteter och roller, och detta i relation till vår empiriska och teoretiska undersökning. Uppsatsen riktas till turismbranschen i stort, men främst till forskare inom turismvetenskapen. Utöver det önskar vi att svara på varifrån begreppets negativa klang kommit. Vi anser att den ?nya? turisten inte vill kalla sig turist utan föredrar det mer individuella och statusberikade termen resenär för att beskriva sig själva.

The choice of harvest date for leys is one of the most important factors affecting the size and quality of the harvest. An early harvest gives a high nutritive value while a late harvest gives larger quantity. Today?s aim to produce high nutritive leys gives early harvest dates both in primary growth and regrowth in northern part of Sweden. The consequence is a growth in the autumn, a "third harvest".The aim of this master thesis was to study the effects of different harvesting systems and their effect on size, feed quality, wintering and economy for conditions in the northern part of Sweden.

Vad är det som gör att vi uppfattar en person på ett visst sätt? Vi påverkas inte bara av personen själv och allt som personen själv bidrar med, utan även av vår egen utgångspunkt, våra egna och andras värderingar och andras val av framställning. Genom att plocka isär meningar och satser i åtta partiledarintervjuer, analysera deras lexikogrammatiska beståndsdelar och kategorisera dem har jag undersökt om det var möjligt att hitta språkliga mönster för detta. För det syftet har jag använt den systemisk-funktionella grammatiken, SFG, eftersom den gör det möjligt att kategorisera satsers lexikogrammatiska beståndsdelar utifrån både funktion och betydelse. De analyserade beståndsdelarna är förstadeltagare, processtyper och modalitet i alla fria satser.Det analyserade materialet är intervjuer med Mona Sahlin och Fredrik Reinfeldt publicerade i fyra svenska dagstidningar inför valet 2010, ett material som därför innehåller både citat från den studerade personen och kommentarer om densamma.

The aim of this project was to describe and to evaluate five small sewage treatment plants in the municipality of Laholm, Sweden, in order to investigate the treatment efficiency and to evaluate if effluents comply with discharge permits. The treatment systems were designed to treat effluents from 90 to 500 population equivalents. A report on the design and the present state of each sewage treatment plant has been made. This was made based upon previous documentation on water quality and by new sampling campaign as there were only a few previous measurements. Data has been evaluated and remedial actions proposed for those treatment plants that don?t fulfill discharge permits.

Bakgrund: Regleringen av hur immateriella tillgångar ska redovisas lämnar stort utrymme för individuella tolkningar. Hur sådana tolkningar görs påverkar de finansiella rapporter som når intressenter. Det saknas undersökningar som berör det samspel som sker mellan revisor och klient. Ett samspel som är det sista som sker i den process från att ett regelförslag fram till att informationen publiceras. Vem är det egentligen som bestämmer och vilka är faktorerna som påverkar de maktpositionerna parterna har i samspelet?Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att karaktärisera samspelet mellan klient och revisor genom att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar maktpositionerna i samspelet.Metod: Uppsatsen består av två delstudier, vilket gör det möjligt att basera uppsatsen på samspelets båda parter och därmed ta hänsyn till båda parternas perspektiv på samspelet.

Background: Over the past 30 years the incidence of overweight and obesity has increased. Obesity is a risk factor for many diseases, for instance type 2 Diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, many types of cancer and musculoskeletal diseases. That ready available food today is so accessible can be a reason for the public health problems of overweight and obesity.Objective: The aim was to study what possibilities and barriers there are for fast-food restaurants to sell healthy food.Methods: Information was collected by seven telephone interviews and two respondents answered by e-mail. Nine persons that were in charge of the menu at different fast-food restaurant chains in Sweden participated in the study.Results: To have a large variety was considered to be a problem for selling healthy food, also because the sale of it was low in some of the fast-food chains. Some of the informants did not find any problems with selling healthy food and it was regarded as an opportunity to get more consumers.Conclusion: The demand for healthier food has increased, and the offer and sales of it has also escalated.

Fyrtiotalisterna i vår studie vill inte sitta och titta på vad som händer. De vill i allra högsta grad vara med där det händer och vara med och påverka sin situation. Våra fyrtiotalister håller sig informerade och uppdaterade om vad som händer i samhället. De är vana att resa och de vill kunna välja. Med vår studie som bakgrund har vi upptäckt att fyrtiotalisterna inte villigt tar på sig den roll som samhället idag förväntar sig av en äldre person.

The aim of our study is to research what the future help-needs and expectations on the civilian society are among Swedish soldiers before they are sent on their first deployment abroad, especially to Afghanistan. The fact that Sweden sends soldiers to a warzone is something that is new nd research according the help-needs from the returning soldiers are missing.This study is based on a qualitative method where the data consists of four focus group interviews with at least two participants in each focus group from three different military bases in Sweden. The results indicate that the soldiers´expectations on the civilian society are low but that they would like to have more support from the civilian society. An important notice during the study, we encountered the fact that the participants in some way feel stigmatized. The results also show that they want the Swedish armed forces to be in charge and provide the care for the soldiers where health professionals involved have som military background.

This paper presents a study of Scandinavian Airlines? (SAS) frequent flyer program, EuroBonus. The study describes the transfer pricing of award seats between EuroBonus and the airlines within SAS. Furthermore, it aims to determine what effects market-based transfer pricing would have on EuroBonus, the airlines within SAS and consequently on the SAS Group. We have found that the existing transfer pricing does not provide incentives for the airlines within SAS to satisfy EuroBonus? demand for award seats.
