Upper secondary schools programme - a qualitative study about the collaboration of the Youth- and family team, the upper secondary schools and the police to prevent drugsAuthor: Åsa GöranssonSupervisor: Björn JohanssonThis essay discuss drug preventative work performed by the members of the ?Upper secondary schools programme?, which is a part of the Youth- and family team of the Social Services. They perform this work in collaboration with the police and upper secondary schools in Örebro.The purpose of this essay is to investigate and describe this collaboration. More specifically, the purpose is to study the contents of documents of the municipality of Örebro concerning drug prevention aimed at youths through collaboration and compare with the actual work that is carried out by the Youth- and family team through collaboration. Further issues dealt with are possible improvements and if the parties concerned feel a need for a documented structure concerning their way of working.I have used a qualitative method and I have interviewed members of parties concerned.

The objective of this literature study was to describe the nurse?s preventive actions to prevent diabetes type 2 among children and adolescents in school age. It emerged from the analysis that the nurse is working according to three pillars; screening, lifestyle changes and counselling/education. This result showed that what often increase difficulties when working with screening are: undefined guidelines, lack of time and resources. Overweight/obesity is one of many indicators to develop diabetes type 2, therefore it is important that both BMI and waist are measured.

In this examination project I look into what ways upper secondary school students conceive themselves as politically influenced before they voted for the general election of 2010. The purpose is to examine which influences the upper secondary school surroundings and the classes of civic education are contributing with to students before they voted. As a method, I have used personal, semi-structural interviews on eight upper secondary school students who all voted for a party represented in the parliament. I have asked questions about how they believe their parents, the surroundings of their school and the classes of civic education have influenced them. To separate which influences primarily the upper secondary school and the classes of civic educations have had on the students, I have selected two comparison groups of four students in each.

Bakgrund:En Central venös kateter (CVK) är en plastkateter som mynnar i ett centralt kärl nära hjärtat och används bland annat för administrering av läkemedel och blodprodukter. Användandet av CVK ökar inom sjukvården och kan förutom på intensivvårdsavdelningarna även ses i hemsjukvården och i den övriga slutenvården. Av alla patienter som får en CVK drabbas tre till sju procent av en infektion i blodbanan och varje infektionstillfälle innebär ett ökat lidande och en förlängd sjukhusvistelse. Dessa infektioner kan förhindras genom att hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal följer evidensbaserade riktlinjer och åtgärder.Syfte: Att beskriva hur sjuksköterskan kan arbeta preventivt för att förhindra uppkomsten av infektioner i blodbanan hos patienter med central venös kateter.Metod: Studien som genomfördes var en systematisk forskningsöversikt. För att finna relevanta artiklar skapades inklusionskriterier och söktermer.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att följa implementeringen av ett nytt svensk evidensbaserat program, SkolKomet, med fokus på lärarnas upplevelser av implementeringsprocessen på en skola. Metoden för detta är en kvalitativ, explorativ fallstudie. Triangulering sker genom intervjuer, observationer, dagboksanteckningar samt genom att vistas i den miljön som lärarna befinner sig i.Lärarnas uppfattningar är förankrade i teorier från implementationsforskningen, först i en analys för att få en fördjupad förståelse av detaljerna och sedan i en syntes, för att söka en helhet bestående av ett meningsfullt mönster.Mönstret som utkristalliserats utifrån lärarnas uppfattningar är att metoden SkolKomet är väl integrerad i skolans befintliga verksamhet, men att vissa farhågor kring implementeringen finns - främst avsaknaden av elever med problembeteende..

Pressure ulcers cause a lot of patients unnecessary suffering. This suffering could be decreased through improved knowledge about prevention, so that pressure ulcer will not appear. The purpose with this review was to study how nurses assess risk and prevent pressure ulcer, and to study how nurses use available knowledge. The method consisted of searches in databases and searching trough references. Our result is based on ten articles, qualitative, quantitative and reviews.

The aim of this dissertation is to examine why smaller municipalities[1] in Sweden experience difficulties when implementing the 16 environmental objectives that are designed to solve Sweden's environmental problems.The theoretical framework used for this dissertation is implementation theory which provides three conditions that need to be met in order to have a successful implementation.  These three conditions have shaped the research questions that examine if Torsby municipality has the "understanding," "ability" and "will" needed to implement the decision correctly.  The dissertation employs a case study method to examine why Torsby municipality has experienced difficulties implementating the target: programmes and strategies for planning, which is an interim target to environmental objective number 15: A good built environment.  Qualitative text analysis and interviews with politicians and civil servants from Torsby municipality and the county administration board of Värmland have been conducted in order to answer the research questions.   The material used for this dissertation is mostly from the government bills that are the foundation of the Swedish environmental policy and the documents and reports about the environmental objectives that the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning (Boverket), the Swedish Environmental protection agency (Naturvårdsverket), and the Environmental objectives council (Miljörådet) have released.The result of this dissertation supports previous research which has shown that smaller municipalities have problems implementating the environmental objectives due to a lack of financial resources. This dissertation also shows that the problems can be due to a lack of understanding the purpose of the objectives.  This leads to a lack of political will to implement the objectives.  Since the municipalities do not have the political will to implement the objectives the appropriate resources needed for a successful implementation are not appointed and therefore the municipalities are not able to fully implement the environmental objectives. [1] Municipalities with less than 20 000 inhabitants..

Denna forskningsöversikt handlar om preventiva åtgärder mot grövre våld i skolan i allmänhet och skolskjutningar i synnerhet. Studien behandlar vilka åtgärder som skapats mot grövre våld samt hur effektiva de är. Den behandlar även till viss del modeller för att förhindra skolskjutningar. De forskningsartiklar som är underlag för studiens undersökningsdel har valts genom specifika kriterier. Studiens resultatdel är indelat i 1.

Många drabbas av social ångest. Vikt och kroppsuppfattning relaterar till social ångest men sambandet behöver tydliggöras. Syftet med studien var att se hur mycket av variationen i social ångest över tid som kan förklaras av vikt-, och kroppsrelaterade mått, samt undersöka könsskillnader. Studien var longitudinell och baserades på en enkätundersökning vid två insamlingstillfällen med ett års mellanrum (N=361). Resultatet visade att upplevd övervikt, felaktigt upplevd övervikt, kön och kroppsnöjdhet tillsammans förklarade 7 % av variationen i social ångest över tid.

The purpose of this research is to examine the implications of the provisions in the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance (the Code) concerning auditor attestation of the internal control report. We will focus on how the auditors? augmented responsibilities will affect the efficiency in the audit process.Our research indicates that the main benefit from reviewing the internal control report is achieving more reliable internal controls, which results in greater prevention of misstatements in the financial statements. This will affect the efficiency in the audit process since the auditor can place more reliance on internal controls when performing audit procedures. This implies that the benefits of preventing misstatements could outweigh the efforts and resources spent on reviewing the internal control report..

Neuropati och angiopati är de främsta orsakerna till att fotkomplikationer uppstår hos diabetiker och flertalet fotsår som uppkommer leder till amputation. I S:t Vincentdeklarationen som tagits fram av världshälsoorganisationen finns ett mål att antalet amputationer som orsakas av diabetesfot ska halveras. Att praktisera en god behandlingsregim kan förhindra progression av sår och därmed en minskad risk för amputation. Denna litteraturöversikt syftar till att utreda vilka icke konventionella behandlingsmetoder och preventionsåtgärder som finns för sår på diabetesfot. Resultatets elva artiklar behandlar dessa områden och visar på olika metoder som kan vidtas, såsom NpHSS, Tretinoin, Citoprot- P®, elektrisk stimulering, larvterapi, vacuum kompression, hyperbariskt syre, tryckavlastande förband, C- peptid, temperaturmätning och PFC- strumpa.

Denna uppsats redogör för hur sociologin samt svensk självmordsprevention konstruerar självmord som problem. För att ringa in detta har socialkonstruktionistiska teorier om sociala problem och förklaringar använts. Dessa teorier har i analysen applicerats på ett varierande material bestående av sociologisk litteratur samt intresseföreningar, socialpolitiska åtgärder och dokument som hör till dessa. Resultaten av denna studie har visat att självmord som avvikande handling ofta är i behov av förklaring. Dessutom framgår det att sociologin koncentrerat sig på självmord som teoretiskt problem vilket medfört konsekvensen att lösningar till stor del uteblivit.

The purpose of this study was to examine if there are common factors that lead to young people committing crimes according to professionals in social work, crime prevention and the police. The study also aims to examine if juveniles in Swedish suburbs commit more crimes, the consequences that follows and what actions socialworkers have for these juveniles. The study was conducted through qualitative interviews of five professionals in the area who were contacted from different units. In the analysis Goffmans (1971) theory of stigma was used and Goldberg's (2005) Conspiracy Theory. Some of the conclusions that could be drawn from the study was that there is not only one factor influencing young people to delinquency, but often combinations of different factors that lead to this.

Malnutrition är vanligt förekommande hos personer med demenssjukdomar och för denna utsatta grupp är det av vikt att fokusera på nutrition och omvårdnadsåtgärder. Syftet med ddenna litteraturstudie är att belysa malnutrition och riskfaktorer ho dementa personer samt beskriva vad sjuksköterskan bör vara uppmärksam på i sitt arbete för att förebygga malnutrition och hur bättre nutritionsstatus kan uppnås. Metoden i arbetet är en litteraturstudie i vilken 9 kvantitativa artiklar och 1 kantitativ/kvalitativ studie granskats ur ett vetenskapligt perspektiv. Resultatet presenteras utifrån tre huvudområden: nutritionsproblem och tillhörande faktorer,utbildning samt interventioner. Tillsammans visar de på förekomst av malnutrition och att det via utbildning och åtgärder går att påverka nutritionsstatus hos dementa personer.

Postoperativa lungkomplikationer är ett stort problem inom sjukvården. Det ökar mortaliteten och skapar onödigt lidande för patienterna samt ökar kostnaderna för sjukvården då patienterna ligger inne längre tid. Syftet med denna studie var att genom en litteraturöversikt beskriva vilka faktorer som kan leda till ökad risk att drabbas av postoperativa lungkomplikationer, samt effekter av att använda omvårdnadsinterventioner för att förebygga dessa. Förebyggande av allmänna postoperativa komplikationer inkluderades inte i studien. Resultatet består av 22 artiklar som valdes ut genom litteratursökningar och sedan kvalitetsgranskades och analyserades med hjälp av matriser.
