There is a great intra- and intervariation regarding cariesprogression. A large number of tools for cariesprevention at home or in the clinic are today used. The aim of this journal study was to compare the progression of carieslesions in the approximal area, diagnosed on radiographs, and preventive measures used to reduce cariesprogression between two examine dates on two dental clinics.

The machines have occasional problems with oil leakage from the bearings. aproblem that ABB wants to be solved.In this thesis the cause of this leakage were investigated, with focus on the bearingseals.The purpose of this work was also to suggest amndments for preventing thisproblem. , and to suggest improvements that can prevent this. This work deals with the ability to control the flow through the heating system to achieve the desired comfort with as little energy as possibleA heating system contains of different parts, roughly speaking, you can divide it to three main components: Heat source, Distribution and Heat emitters. All components are working together to bring heat to the building. What is examined in this report are different ways of adjusting the flow and supply temperature and how it affects comfort and energy use in a building.At today ?s date the conventional method is to use a high flow through the heating system, which affects pressure drop and cooling of the fluid.

I examensarbetet har jag undersökt vad begreppetunga i riskzonen innebär för professionella från polis och socialtjänst i social insatsgrupp i Södertälje kommun. Södertälje kommun är en av de tolv kommuner där Rikspolisstyrelsen inrättat pilotverksamheten social insatsgrupp på uppdrag av regeringen. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur representanter från myndigheterna polisen och socialtjänsten i samverkansprojektet social insatsgrupp i Södertälje kommun definierar unga i riskzonen. Detta med målet att försöka förstå vilka ungdomar som blir selekterade att ingå i projektet..

This study attempts to explore how schools? handles and prevents cyber-bullying among pupils. The purpose in this study was to investigate how the school staffs work in secondary schools with grades sixth to ninth. How do the schools discover, prevent and stop cyber-bullying? Do the schools? have any experiences of cyber-bullying? How do the schools work with anti-bullying concepts ? have the new phenomenon cyber-bullying affected and changed the schools´ anti-bullying work in connection with the guidelines and in relation to the "new technology"? This study attempts to examine how this is handled within several secondary schools with three different municipalities.

Venous leg ulcers are a chronic disease mostly among elderly individuals. The leg ulcers are often painful and interfere with the individual?s daily life. The aim of this literature review was to describe individuals? experiences of living with venous leg ulcers.

My purpose in this work was to find out how staff in a middle sized school uses its local Equal treatment plan in its work against bullying. But also to see how the use of a standardized anti-bullying program works to prevent bullying. I have interviewed the principal, teachers, and what we in Sweden call a ?fritidspedagog? and the members of the anti-bullying team to get answers to my questions.  The conclusion of this study is that the school follow and work according to what the Equal treatment plan states, both in terms of prevention, as in working with actual bullying cases. The school has also followed the National School Agency's recommendations on what should be the local Equality plan, but also to follow up and revise it each year. The interview shows that the staff at the school placed great emphasis on talking and discussing with students about how to behave towards each other, they also brought up things that happened at one time and talked about this. The staffs were very committed to work towards the prevention of bullying and the same was true with the school's headmaster.

Metod: Studien genomfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie. Databassökningen gjordes i Blackwell Synergy och ELIN@Dalarna. De vetenskapliga artiklarna som ingick i studien var skrivna på svenska eller engelska samt publicerade mellan åren 1999 och 2007. Artiklarnas vetenskapliga kvalitet bedömdes utifrån granskningsmallar.

Background and purpose: Volleyball requires a lot of the human body, andeffective core stability is necessary for the athlete. Our muscles cooperate as achain of motions and core stabilization is the base for the moving muscles.The most well-known stabilization muscle is m.transversus abdominis (TrA).The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the function of TrA inSwedish female elite volleyball players and to observe the influence of eightweeks of stabilization exercise on the TrA. Method: 10 female elitevolleyball players (mean age 24,7 years, range 18-31 years) participated inthe study. TrA was measured in supine position with a pressure biofeedbackunit. Subjects were instructed to draw in the abdominal wall without movingthe pelvis and hold for 10 seconds.

Höftfrakturer bland äldre personer är en fruktad komplikation inom vården. Utfallet av dessa frakturer var ofta dåligt men det går att förebygga. De flesta som drabbas av höftfrakturer är postmenopausala kvinnor med osteoporos. Syftet med vår studie var att sammanfatta omvårdnadsinterventioner som kan förebygga höftfrakturer hos äldre kvinnor med osteoporos och trender inom området. Metoden för vår studie var systematisk litteraturöversikt.

When building a house or similar the stress on the ground increases and deformations can arise. The deformations create a foundation that the building is not constructed for and damages on the building arise. The increased stress on the ground can be derived back to the building, but it is possible that the increased stress may well derive from different sources such as other buildings or trees.       The building is an older property, built in the late 19th century alternatively early 20th century, and is today used for rental housing and has suffered severe damages due to subsidence. The goal of the thesis is to find possible causes for these subsidences. The thesis was executed as a combination between literature- and casestudie. After careful studies it has been found that a probable cause for these subsidences is trees. Through field- and lab studies it has been found that the trees has effected the ground through there accumulation of water.

Livskvaliteten och hälsan påverkas av såret och dess utveckling, vilket gör omvårdnaden vid sårbehandling grundläggande för patientens välmående. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa hur Negative Pressure Wound Therapy påverkar patientens livskvalitet och hälsa. Metod: Polit och Beck (2012) niostegsmodell användes för litteraturstudien. Artikelsökningarna gjordes i två olika databaser samt manuella sökningar och resultatet grundades på tolv artiklar som genomgick en kvalitetsgranskning.

Primär hypotyreos är i Sverige en folksjukdom som främst drabbar kvinnor i alla åldrar. Sjukdomens symtom är omfattande och kan ge allvarliga konsekvenser för patientens hälsa om sjukdomen inte upptäcks och behandlas i tid. Symptom som sjukdomen uppvisar påverkar patientens livskvalitet. Sjuksköterskans ansvar är att främja patientens livskvalitet genom att bland annat hjälpa individen med anpassningen till de förändringar som sjukdomen medför.
